There are legit no perks to teaching lmao unless you consider being underpaid and working overtime everyday for free a perk (we're paid 32h/week here, but we have unpaid time that is considered part of our "task" to do + having to watch the yard during recess + off-school hours obligatory stay time + extra hours at home so basically I work about 45h at school + 20h at home minimum = 65h/week, and the school is an hour away from home...) I love what I do though, which is what matters the most.

Teaching is a vocation, which you clearly don't have. I spend vacations creating new school material so I basically work 365.
