I mostly agree with rich witch and loveappeal but let's take into consideration that SM probably doesn't treat SHINee like a dirt (less than stellar promotion aside) because SHINee is still profitable for them. Let's keep on supporting SHINee as long as they keep releasing good stuffs.

It makes senses that the GDA is about sales and popularity (Golden Disc, duh)... I'm hoping that Seoul MUSIC Awards is about quality (like Grammy) - Yes, I know it's currently not. Altho' if that's the case, idols might have lower chance to be nominated, let alone winning the awards.

Thanks for the information, I'll vote. Good to hear that SHINee participation on FNS has a positive impact, increasing SHINee's visibility in Japan. That's what I'm talking about, awesome product paired with awesome promotion. Winter Wonderland is an amazing song/single. I'm happy that UMJ saw potential in this song/single and do awesome promotion for it. I'm guessing UMJ promote SHINee to FNS' showrunner. SM better takes notes. FNS makes me realize that SHINee needs to release impactful song+choreography ala Everybody again. Before they get older and physically taxing choreographies might not be possible anymore. Of course, while at the same time slowly transitioning to title songs that showcased their vocals more + finding impactful choreographies that is not taxing for their bodies (dances that focus more on other aspects than technical difficulties like artistry/beauty or story telling/expressive/emotive dance or culture/incorporating Korean traditional dance, etc).
