Than I saw Oh Nana's MV and my heart was destroyed by Somin. At that moment I became a fan and then I spent the whole night watching videos on youtube about them

Sorry to answer this so late! Honestly I don't know, if I had to choose an option I'd say a portuguese single would probably flop. The average brazilian isn't interested in artists this different from the usual brazilian, american/british or the occasional latino (but tbh you don't see songs from countries other than those on the radio, so it's really difficult to predict anything), I'm saying this based on the response I get from my friends that don't like K-Pop when I try to introduce them to something. However, I've been noticing that they usually like songs like EXO's Monster or even Oh Nana, you know, songs close to EDM. In other words, something like this could appeal to the masses (masses as in young people and teenagers) as a whole. Even though I'm brazilian, I don't really interact with the brazilian fans, so I may be wrong here. I think it's something new, 3 years ago you just would not see this much fans. Now, it's completely different! Pretty much all of my lil sis' friends listen to BTS, IU, 24K, Mamamoo and others. Even in KARD's brazilian facebook fanpage I managed to find some ppl from high school. Even though I don't say I listen to K-Pop to all my high school friends, I can guarantee all of them have listened to K-Pop. It's common to see big youtubers reacting to it, I'm talking 10m+ subscribers, there at least one "react to (insert group here)" comment on every possible video, and they have been reacting to it, since they can get a lot of views. This immense growth is exclusively because of the fans on youtube, cause you ain't listening to K-Pop anywhere else but the internet, so just imagine what will happen if they start to broadcast it on the radio and really popular TV shows (the one KARD went it's popular, but still not even close to some others, and they still got to the #1 spot on the TTs).
