I think I just found my new crack kdrama of 2014! In only four episodes, Valid Love has made me fall in love with its characters and its world more than most dramas do in its entire run. The acting, the writing and directing, all of it is just so perfect. I mean how many other shows have flying fish (granted, imaginary flying fish, but still!) Why isn't it Monday yet :cry:

Ji Chang Wook should just do historical dramas forever and ever. As soon as he's done with one, just go straight into another. This man is literally made for them. So much pretty

Number 9 era Jiyeon is the best thing ever

-IKON, especially BI, are so annoying. I can't even pinpoint why, but they just irritate me so much. -WGM is adorable and cute and entertaining, no matter how scripted people whine about it being. Especially Jae Rim-So Eun couple! -Taylor Swift is kind of amazing. Her songs are catchy, plus she seems really sweet in interviews. And people who use her dating life to criticize her literally make me roll my eyes.

Has anyone seen it yet? Is it any good? I want to watch cause I hear your voice is one of my fave dramas, but I can't deal if it's gonna turn out to be bad. Plus, after Doctor Stranger I refuse to sit through another bad Lee Jong Suk drama.

The best part of this drama was definitely this OST https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3R0Sm2xcyE It would of been so much better if they had just made the focus of the drama be about torn apart lovers trying to get back to one another, and not the hodge-podge medical mess that it turned out to be. omg really?! That is like one of my all time favorite twdramas ever!!! I actually wouldn't mind a remake of that, it could be interesting.

I always like stories where the audience is aware of something that the characters aren't (in this case the plan that the baddies were working on), and then proceeds to focus on showing the characters try to figure that plan out one by one while the audience already has an idea of what is going on. But Doctor Stranger is almost the exact opposite of that. All the characters (well except Hoon, of course), are aware of some big, grand plan that the audience just isn't being let it on. Sure, there were some hints and drops and vague conversations between characters, but for the most part I was just going "huh? What? What's the point of doing that" and this was just really frustrating. And so when they finally let in on what was going on, I was just like "oh, ok" Does that make sense? I feel like I'm just mostly rambling here and not really being very coherent. Although in my defense it is like almost 6 in the morning here so... One good thing about this reveal tho, is that hopefully Hoon will now join Jae Hee and they will work together to come up with a way to overthrow all the baddies. On a different note, I am really shipping Oh Soo Hyun and Han Jae Joon. Mostly cause, and this is like 99% of the reason, the actors just have such wonderful chemistry with one another. I just wish he would stop with all this "I'm gonna take over this hospital and burn it to the ground in the name of revenge!!" (Ugh, how I've always hated that overused trope in kdramas), and realize what a dick he has been trying to use someone as emotionally vulnerable as Oh Soo Hyun for his own personal gains. But even if that does happen, she doesn't seem to be all that into him anymore. Sigh, even with all these obstacles a shippers heart will still ship, I suppose. And one more thing, can we please move on from the freaking competition already?!! How many episodes has this been going on?! Ugh

omg I think the 2NE1 comeback just restored my faith in kpop. I was slowly losing interest and then they come out with this and I just Crush is the best thing I've heard this year. And the whole futuristic concept for Come Back Home!! It's just all so good. I just am so happy right now

I just love how mature Nam Da Jung and Kwon Yul were being about their feelings. She confessed to him plainly and honestly and in return he explained his feelings and why he was feeling conflicted. If this was like any other kdrama, at least any that I've ever seen, they would have just ignored their feelings and instead said something mean and hurtful to push the other person away. Then there would have been a lot of unnecessary angst and drama and ugh. Like omg I'm just so glad this writer actually understands that her characters are adults and writes them as such.

So much character development in ep 12 I'm so glad Seo Hye Joo is finally letting go. I just hope she finds someone who will love her just as much as she loves them. She deserves it after being treated like second best for 20 years.

Reading the third (and last  :cry:)  book in the Legend series and I'm so happy that it keeps getting better and better. Anden has got to be my favorite character so far. I just love and pity him so much. I wish I could into the book, give him a big hug, and then say it'll be alright. My favorite part of the book is definitely the main conflict. I love that there is not really one right answer that the characters can choose. Any choice that they make will have huge consequences. There is no easy way to fix the problem and the characters are just stuck in this mental grey area trying to choose the lesser of the two evils.
