hopefully acube wont troll us and make us wait months

    B9s36DmCMAAF0Du.jpg

can anyone tell me what the categories are?

the last is probably height  and the first is how much of a shikshin they are?...I'm guessing  :)

    Rap:

    - Bomi: Show Me The Bo!!!Mi!!! *YO Rap is self-confidence

    - Namjoo: aka Namjoo turn-up!!!!

It says like 'hip hop wall that cannot be climbed over' or sth like that

    - Eunji: A girl who rides on the rhythm

    - Chorong: *"Stick your tongue out and rap"/"Get your tongue twisted and rap"

    - Naeun: *"I say apple, you say apple"

    - Hayoung: Came from the hip hop group, Y.O

    *referenced from APST ep. 7

    Sexy:

    - Hayoung: Age doesn't matter/isn't important in being sexy. *stress**stress*

    - Bomi and Namjoo: It's not that we can't do sexy, It is only hidden - (a saying) by Sexy unit BnN

    - Naeun: Sexy hair

    - Chorong and Eunji: Cute 25 yrs old. 23 yrs old

    Height: Profile: Oh Hayoung 167cm = Son Naeun 167cm > Park Chorong 165cm = Kim Namjoo 165cm > Yoon Bomi 163cm = Jung Eunji 163cm

    (((Tall Dongsaeng Line)))

    - (I am still growing) Hayoung: Oh Maknae rumored 190cm. Lowers average age and increases height average.

    - Naeun: Height that is quickly/briskly stretching. 167cm

    - Namjoo: Proud to be in tall team

    - Bomi: Honest(ly) 163.2cm

    - Chorong and Eunji: A lot of merely profile numbers.

The Hayoung/Chorong caption: (Me and) maknae's height difference in the profile is 2cm... but it seems like 10cm...?

I tried my best to translate it based on my understanding. I am not saying that all of these are translated properly but I think it's close, if not the actual trans. x)

Lmao..i was digging the idol swimming competition at ISAC on youtube. And i just found out that Namjoo participated as well. I never knew it. Among the 7 contestants, she ranked 7th ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ i just can't...lol...Looking at the members cheering for her with the sign board.

And then I remembered when she jumped into that 8m deep pool in APST ep.2 hahaha

    --

    Day 17:

LUV,Secret Garden aside (since they all looked so on point in those MVs)

    Chorong: Hush, NoNoNo

Bomi: My My, NoNoNo, Mr. Chu

    Eunji: Hush, NoNoNo, Mr. Chu

Naeun: I Don't Know, My My, NoNoNo

Namjoo: I Don't Know, My My, Mr. Chu

  2. http://netizenbuzz.blogspot.co.uk/2015/02/pann-girlfriends-umji.html

I know this isn't apink related but omg this is so horrible, I find her cute. She's still young and has baby fat but she is nowhere near ugly. I know we shouldn't take pann seriously but if I was her right now i would seriously be crying so much. She's cute and as she gets older she will naturally look more mature etc.

How dare they do this to my GFriend bias. >:(

Ugh Pann seriously is a cesspool of sh**

  3.

Thank you all, thank you for taking the time to read. :)

Official as in written on paper official or as in the actual treatment official? Official on paper used to be Naeun (still is sometimes in print, still is in profile) but actual and also on paper (sometimes) it's Namjoo. Naeun is visual and sub-vocal. Though Apink does not have a noticeable dancing line like other groups, save for Bomi and Namjoo who are given priority for special performances (of title tracks and in general).

IU doesn't have Apink's image, she used to be the Nation's Little Sister but that was years ago. Expectations for IU and expectations for Apink are extremely different. Apink endorsing Soju makes no sense not just for their image but they still have one member who can't legally drink yet. :)

Actually this is normal in Korea. Because of the relationship between agencies and tabloids most know beforehand if the flight is professional (same with fansites for some groups). But if the flight is personal there is no previous information (most of the time), this is why personal trips seem to be out of left field for some fans. If the flight is personal those who encounter the celebrities tend to keep their pictures private or wait a few days before posting, as to respect privacy. :)

Bomi went to a special military camp for children; this is not required in Korea, as such the country and government are not relevant or to be held accountable. While the gas chamber may seem barbaric and illogical for children to experience, some in Korea like their children to be trained since young. When you have another country directly across who threatens to blow up your capital and citizens on a regular basis this type of training is seen as a potentially life saving measure. Those who do not live with such concerns cannot understand the feelings and doubts involved. Furthermore there are children who have military interests since young and it’s their personal wish to attend.

There were no Korean articles, actual articles, reporting the alternate (and untrue) scenario of Bomi asking for GsD’s picture to be taken off the water filter, that was an English site (Soompi). The other also untrue scenario of Namjoo's admittance to college was also on an English version of Mnet (Mwave) and not a real Korean site; all Korean articles clearly stated she did not receive special treatment. Whether on purpose or lack of language knowledge, most of what is “translated†for Intl’ fans contain errors or are actual lies. PANN is a cesspool of shameful immature fangirls who also make up lies in comments about articles elsewhere; they do the same below the actual articles. Doesn’t mean the article said what they imply. :)

Misquotes? More like Soompi made up the quote in the first place. Shameful actions by Soompi and Mwave, they should apologize and reflect for a thousand years.

I don't dislike any true Panda posting in this thread. Pandas by definition love and support Apink, and Apink is Chorong, Bomi, Eunji, Naeun, Namjoo, Hayoung. How to dislike people who wish for the best for all of them? I do dislike those who aren't Pandas posting here since they only post to start/elongate arguments, those whose posts only seem to surface in the darkest of times.

You can add those who are clearly not Pandas but perverts who see women (and Apink) as nothing more than pieces of meat and all their commentary is geared toward sexual comments. All their focus is not on their careers but how tight their pants might be. They don’t care if the girls are safe or happy but how short their skirts are in that occasion. They don’t care for their hard work or any accolades they might generate but if a move looks sexy. They don’t care how Apink has a role to Korea, how their innocent fairy status is more than a mere concept but they care when the girls might turn sexy like everyone else. Essentially, those who don’t respect Apink: as women, as performers, as human beings. :)

To avoid any confusion (or misconception), my comment on perverts is not geared towards the majority of this thread. Nor geared to those who find the girls attractive and pleasing to look at. It’s about a minuscule minority whose posts almost solely (99.99% of the time) are about sexually charged commentary, in this thread and any Apink related thread.

Most who post here act like well behaved, positive, caring, joyful people who anyone would be lucky to encounter and know in real life. :)

PANN (similar sites too) is a cestpool of shameful actions filled with roaches swimming in trash. That said, the comments talk about arrogance about the innocent concept, as in "our group is an innocent fairy group while other groups are [insert here other concept thought as inferior]".

Korean Pandas do feel pride in Apink being the innocent fairy group, they do feel pride knowing Apink decided being different, they do feel pride at Apink being the innocent fairy group since debut and for almost 4 years, they do feel pride at Apink resisting the pressures to change, they do feel pride at Apink keeping their word.

But pride is this context means taking pleasure or satisfaction, as in Korean Pandas are pleased with all these facts. Pride does not mean arrogance in this context, most Korean Pandas are not arrogant about Apink's concept, they aren't even arrogant about their achievements. But those who have chips on their shoulders will view any post celebrating these facts as slights to those who are not the same.

We don't care about silly anti fangirls and Intl's fans shouldn't either; nothing should be a distraction from supporting the girls. Pandas and Apink are one in a Pink Paradise. :)

    A-Pink-thank-Pink-Panda-for-a-successful

    I love you Sprite-nim :'D

Pretty cool 'tutorial' video for new pandas.

    The feels I got while I watched this vid. ;~;

Day 15: I love every APink ship because they are so shippable with one another, but my favorite is ChoMi ^^

Day 16: They're all really pretty in their own ways, like so beautiful but my top 3 would be the Visual line aka Chorong, Naeun and Hayoung. ^^

  4. I know that the hate on Bomi is really uncalled for, and really unreasonable, but for me I'm not surprised about it.

APink's popularity now is no joke, and with that, not only the number of fans increase but also the number of anti-fans.

After all, fame is a double-edged sword.

Anyway, we should just focus on supporting the girls as much as we can, and always make them feel love. ^^ Our love for the girls is definitely >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> their hate. x)

    29 more minutes until Naeun's birthday! :D

  5. Hello to all of you here!!!!! I am new to this forum, but have been a PROUD PINK PANDA since 2011.

Hello! I know it is late but welcome! :D Proud Pink Panda since 2014, Post NoNoNo-Pre Mr.Chu era x)!

so after a long ass time of APink being my no 2 (since around 2012), now that the Jessica mess happened, i'm officially done being a sone, GG is done being my no1, Apink is done being my no2

i'm officially a panda and while i still support many of the GG girls, APink is now my top priority, i feel like 4 months of being out of loop with the Kpop world is enough, tried to get back before but couldn't, and apink (Chorong & Hayoung) really renewed my interests after the down period, so i really have to thank the apink girls, even the only girl i didn't really care about before in apink now makes me happy too

so hello again guys, i think this will be fun

will change my sig as soon as possible, too lazy right now lol

I would be lying to myself and to all of you if I said that I didn't feel the same.

Well actually, I got into APink as I waited for SNSD's comeback. I was so frustrated about the comeback getting delayed and I had nothing to do, so I actually tried listening to them based on my friend's tweets which sounded like APink was really a likable group. She wasn't wrong, and I will never regret my decision :)

When the Jessica issue happened, for some reason, it didn't hurt me that much. I mean, I was so shocked and I felt really bad too but...let's just say I healed quickly? It made me realize that maybe that's why APink came in my life, because something bad was going to happen and if it weren't for these lovely girls, I might have reacted worse about SNSD's situation.

Even before the dispute tho, I've been noticing that I'm tweeting more about APink already, even during TTS' Holler promotions. But I wasn't admitting that APink became my #1 group already. Deep inside I felt like betraying SNSD, whom I stanned for more than 5 years, if I did that. But after the dispute, and considering how the fandom has been...wow. Actually, being in another fandom opened my eyes. I've seen perspectives that I haven't considered back when I was an elitist, and it made me understand more to as why other fans think of sones like that. Now, I actually share the same thoughts, and even removed my SNSD tlist and unfollowed almost all sones just to spare me from the drama and bashing.

But now, I am so free to admit that my world has turned into a Pink Paradise! And thanks to APink, I opened up my world to other groups as well, particularly girl groups. Well, I did admit after the dispute. Like afterwards, I wasn't really interested about SNSD's Tokyo Dome concert...I mean, they would always have a special place in my heart, and spazz about them (Taeyeon, especially) from time to time, but you know, the spark...the flame...it's gone. So now, I am a full-time Pink Panda, with a little bit of Dai5y and L.E.G.O x) APink is now my #1 group.

Anyway, just sharing the same sentiment. x)

  6. Thank you for taking the time to read. :) I did once gave fair warning most of my replies would probably have many hours if not a day or two of separation.

Companies are not created for rejected trainees nor rejected trainees sent to other companies, rejected trainees simply cease to exist as trainees. Apink were able to debut because they were deemed worthwhile; the fact they debuted thru Acube and not directly thru Cube after training with Cube artists is not a slight to Apink. It's a general practice for Korean agencies to have satellite companies and subsidiaries. Many times these satellite companies and subsidiaries will promote artists with a different "feeling" (aim) than the main company. In these cases its beneficial for there to be some separation in the minds of the populace as not to cloud these new groups.

This is Apink's case; for a group aiming to be an innocent group reminiscent of late 90's girl groups there had to be a clean slate. ACube was the answer; close enough to the Cube name to benefit from never being completely unknown but far enough from Cube no one would doubt the authenticity of the innocent group, the fairy idols. This was all finely orchestrated for years by Cube. They had "Apink" (various versions) have showcases, appear on Cube artist MVs, train with Cube artists receiving all the benefits of Cube trainees and when debut came Cube seniors supported them like they would a Cube junior artist. But they had them debut thru a different (but still closely associated) company for authenticity's sake and also for monetary reasons, as satellite companies and subsidiaries allow main companies to better control their portfolios.

Furthermore Apink's move to Acube was meant to evoke the era of late 90's girl groups itself. Not just the concept but the conditions they lived in. Because SM, JYP and YG are such large companies now, many Intl' fans have no idea how small they once were, how hard it was in the beginning. In the times of S.E.S. there wasn't that much money flowing at first; they were the first successful girl group in Kpop. After their success (and their male counterparts) SM was then able to invest more in their groups. ACube was to be seen as this "small" almost ragtag outfit trying to create this beautiful innocent fairy group from the ground up. Nowhere is this clearer than in Apink News every time the topic of funds comes up in one way or another. And yet even on Apink News you can see how Apink were coddled as they got top artists from Cube and other agencies as news anchors. No group from truly small, unknown, just starting company would have been able to achieve this.

The topic of Apink/Cube artist relationships has gone far too long in a baseless and meandering manner. That said, Apink/Cube artists are like family but the fact is family is not "parent-siblings" only. There’s ‘extended family’ like cousins, distant cousins, etc. Meaning there can be affection and good memories but this doesn't equate overall closeness. Apink/BtoB look at each other like siblings but their closeness overall is more like cousins/distant cousins save some closer 'line' (same year of birth) pairs. They are chill and easy going with each other. Apink/Beast look at each other mostly like siblings/cousins but their closeness overall is more like distant cousins save some closer visual and work related pairs. They are relatively easy going however the overriding dynamic is senior/junior, not just because Beast debuted first but the large age differences. Apink/4Minute is interesting in that each pair is rather unique, overall though it’s a mix of siblings and senior/junior. This is because of the age mix between 4Minute/Apink, how 4Minute debuted first and some long relationships like Hyuna and Namjoo who have known each other for about 14 years. They are also easy going and chill with each other but always mindful of senior/junior status.

Intl' fans need to realize idols can't always show how close they are with one another when there is a senior/junior status. Even if someone is close enough to be Oppa/Unnie/Dongsaeng,  to avoid backlash of people misunderstanding actions as rude to a senior you refer and treat them differently than privately. Mostly depends on the situation and juniors generally follow the seniors' lead.

Also Cube groups as a whole are “intra-group†type groups, as in groups that tend to interact more with each other than anyone outside; Beast, 4Minute and Apink are known for this since debut. Doesn’t mean people from the groups don’t have good relationships with people outside (other groups) but mainly tend to keep to themselves.

Most of the things that have been said as of late (about these two topics and Cube/ACube) are incorrect and harmful to Apink if anyone is unaware enough to believe them without searching for facts.

While it's the right of every person to have an opinion, it's also the responsibility of every person for this opinion to be educated (based on info) not baseless conjecture. :)

Finally, the person that I am waiting to speak up :'D

    As expected :'D

I hope with this everyone can calm down and just spazz about APink :')

  7. Hey everyone. New fan of Apink! :)

Was wondering if anyone could suggest me some good songs of theirs?

"I’m not really the cute type"

    UGH SHE IS SO ADORABLE

    YES THANK YOU :D

  8. Day 14:

Appearance: Eunji. She definitely slimmed down, and she's leaning towards the word 'gorgeous' ever since Mr. Chu. :'D

Chorong too, but she kind of gained her weight back from NoNoNo to LUV. She actually looks better in her current weight. :')

Personality: Naeun. She is really more open and talkative now compared to APink News days. Hayoung too. On the other hand, the unni line toned down a bit, especially Chorong. But compared to NoNoNo era, she's quite active again.

  9. Friends...I need your advice.

Well the other day, anon sent me asks on askfm. I am going to screencap it:

(Start with "How are you today?" then upwards)3bgFlWF.png

(Start with "Haha. Nah it's fine..." then upwards)

    LuwB68Y.png

So yeah, after that I received a message in LINE, only to find out that it was my ex.

I said "Sorry, you sounded like a friend of mine." and she was like "You didn't even think of me? Well, you don't have to anyway." and I just ignored that statement and she continued on messaging me.

Since it was there already, I entertained her. She then opened up about being depressed and she feels like no one is there for her and stuff so I kept on asking if something happened (I guessed that it was about her mom since she went out of the closet but her mom went angry) but then she finally admitted that she broke up w/ her current gf (the one she chose over me). She told me that the reason was "Whenever she needed me, I was there for her. But when I need her, she doesn't have time for me."

Then she always say "If you don't want to talk to me, it's okay I understand." which kinda annoyed me because I was already talking to her and yet she kept on saying that.

Tbh, I really wanted to ignore her, and but I hate the feeling of being guilty bec you ignored someone? I am like that to my friends as well. That's why I entertained her. And this is the second time that this happened. The first one was when she fought w/ her mom and gf.

She also had questions like "Am I like this back when we're still together?" "My ex was angry bec I said we were talking. She said that she's juggling everyone's feelings. Did you feel the same?"

The way I talked to her is like "Why?" "What happened?" then only a few longer sentences when I tried to give her an advice.

I opened this up to my closest friends and they're all like "She's checking if you want her back/she's trying to get back to you slowly/she's making herself look pitiful so you'd care about her" something along those lines.

So...what about you? What can you say? I needed a lot of advice/insights because really, I'm inexperienced when it comes to relationships.

    :._.:

  10. I don't really get why they "have to beat" the seniors.

So what if they're not in the same level as TVXQ? So what if they won't be able to match their status?

At least these groups work hard to promote Korean music outside of their country.

+ the article didn't say that they 'surpassed' these seniors who did well in Japan. I can't with how arrogant some of you are.

For me I'm just happy that my bias group is being well received in Japan.
