anyone tuning in on v app for their upcoming lotto show?

if you read the comments, one of the critics/reviewers took into account Eunji's performance from immortal song (2014) and said the analysis stands. Hyorin's a tad higher, rated "5. Good Vocalist" to Eunji's 4.5. Ailee's rated "5.5 Good to Great Vocalist". Of course, just one site's opinion, but I respect the detail and breakdown. I don't follow Sistar and Ailee though, just Apink :D So I can't really put my two cents in about how well they sing compared to Eunji. I also think the other two have had more opportunities to showcase their talents, whereas Eunji isn't yet as widely known (compared to those two) for her voice, though she has other great talents (acting). That site will provide an update to Eunji's analysis once it sees a performance that may change the rating, which is why I'm excited she's on Masked King, I'd love to see an update (and have her rating go up). I don't think it'll go up from this particular performance because it's on par with what Eunji has shown in the past; I think if she demonstrates some other technique or skill in an upcoming performance that would tip the scales.

thx -- i know it's not the same company, but since they use the same training space and their artists have good relationships (i've seen a few instances where artists refer to cube/acube members as the same family) hence some fans' wishes that they'd be included in the cube family a few other ways.

agreed. i went to cube cafe and they have a bunch of their artists' merchandise (beast, 4minute, etc.), but not apink. acube's offices are elsewhere (near woollim) tho i think they all use the same training center.

it's bracket-style tournament (like sports?); so two singers battle it out in a duet, then winner moves on to the next round. in this episode with eunji, it was round 1 with 8 contestants, and at the end we were left with 4. the next episode we'll know the winner, it'll encompass round 2 (4 contestants), 3 (2 contestants) and the finale battle (winner of the contestants aka the challenger vs the current mask king).

the votes are from the audience, and if it is recorded beforehand (not live broadcast) then they wouldn't know netizens' guesses at the time they vote (and netizens wouldn't have heard/seen the episode at that point in time). yes, there was a mask singer album released end of may, but supposedly future songs will be released after episodes so no waiting.

i was wondering when she would be on the show... i had dongwoon's reaction when she sang, haha. it's obvious to fans. according to one site's vocal analysis, eunji is a more skilled vocalist than solji (3. Above Average Vocalist) and about the same as luna (4.5 Competent to Good Vocalist); both winners from the show.
