9muses shared their feeling about new members Sojin and Keumjo.
9muses held their mini-album release showcase at Ax Hall in Gwang-jang-dong in the afternoon of January 21 and talked about their plans. The members performed their new track ‘Drama’ for the very first time, and introduced new members, Keumjo and Sojin, by dividing into vocal and dance teams to appeal their charms
When the press asked Keumjo and Sojin about their feelings, they explained “Older members were little tough on us†and grabbed our attention.
Keumjo said “Older members are tall, sexy and has urban girl vibes so I was worried whether we will get along with heir image. Unlike my concerns, they were easy-going and humble. They approached us first and we had no problem getting along with them†and thanked older members.
Sojin stated “After I and Keumjo joined the team, we were worried that our unmatching image with the team might negatively affect other members. So, we tried to lose weight and put in much effortsâ€.
When new members finished answering to question, other members evaluated new members. Hyun-ah said “We’ve become veteran artist with five years of experience. So, when recruiting new members, we put talents on the highest priority. We realized that we made the right choice as we saw their talents. Even though they are younger, we rely on them.â€
9muses’ new mini-album <Drama> includes dramatic stage performance to compensate their long hiatus. The group added Sojin and Keumjo who are talented in performance and vocal.
The title track ‘Drama’ is a funky style song with strong retro style that reminds 70s and 80s. The album includes a total of five tracks including ‘PILOT EPISODE’, ‘Choice’, ‘Trickling’,’17th Sep’
9muses will start their comeback promotion by dropping a track at midnight on January 23.
