Chakraborty ... 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED For fans of: immersive fantasy novels with solidly built worlds; dual narrative novels; diverse and morally-complex characters; Middle Eastern culture. I'm not very good at describing plots or writing reviews in general (which are both readily available without me adding my poorly thought out two cents), so I'll skip ahead and let you know that the ending absolutely ripped my heart out! I CAN'T BELIEVE WE HAVE TO WAIT 11 MONTHS FOR PART TWO I WANT TO CONTINUE THE STORY NOW

So let me get this straight: reading a book during slow periods when all the work is done is discouraged, but standing around chatting and playing games and browsing the internet on your phone is just fine?????
