My prime version is that they suggested him shitty contract, bc they want to continue to limit and control him. And that was something Ksoo did not expect. Knowing SM's greediness, they wouldn't change contract on Kyungsoo terms and would use sly tactics and psychological pressure

SM has no power in acting industry and I don't think they would dare to block Kyungsoo from music industry, it's barely possible rn. What will they do, ban him from music shows with their connections? I have to laugh. They can't ban him from TV too bc of his acting career and connections. Kyungsoo have good connections in acting, and also I think a lot of big and powerful agencies would like to sign with him. CJ E&M, for example? x)) And he can do music too, he has a lot of artists interested in him and if he will get a good company to back him up, he will do well. I really think that they just want to drag this out till current contract ends. Till then they can prepare official statement, Ksoo's defamation plan and such. They are not wrong, Kyungsoo is not leaving right now, but the news broke out probably because Kyungsoo made his final decision.
