  1. It looks so great! Can't wait. Hope it won't be postponed again :<
  2. Yes! It was so unexpected! And by the song choice... my interpretation is that he's trying to comfort us (aka his fans that are still by his side), although maybe he intended it as comfort for people in general (because of pandemics etc)... still... great song
  3. EXO chose to perform more dates in a smaller venue since they don't like huge venues (they've commented multiple times they don't like seeing fans as "ants"). They had to perform more days and it was certainly more tiring but they seemed satisfied... and anyway, they were the last shows before their enlistment spree, so... I'm glad they were well-paid for it as well.
  4. I think it is very likely they will focus on black artists this year. (and there are plenty deserving artists btw) If not, I think Tones and I's got the most international success out of all of these. I also think her style is very authentic, so it's not just a matter of sales...
  5. let's see how this goes. it would be amazing if YG actually delivered everything they promised this time...
  6. Hope they pass the 1M threshold!
  7. YES EXO ALL TOGETHER T__________________________________________T
  8. That's very nice! It really shows how having a wide platform can be put to good use. I'm really disappointed at how SM released no statement whatsoever. A few SM artists commented on it (BoA, Yesung, Yeri, as far as I've seen), but I feel like the company didn't really encourage them to release official statements as groups and obviously didn't release anything as a company. Their lack of vision (in many senses) is just...
  9. Her lipstick looks smudged and makes her mouth look weird, especially in 65x65
  10. November 2014... So soon after Luhan's departure, I guess...
  11. Belgian colonialism was one of the most savage, even though Belgium did not have as many colonies as other colonial powers. That past should not be honored.
  12. With this kind of comment, one can sort of get a feel of what kind of conservative mindset a lot of people still have in SK... Nonetheless, I kind of agree with this one: Educating someone is one thing, but forcing them to speak or to donate for a cause is just... not sincere. If they do it because they want to keep their fans it becomes monetized somehow.
  13. Nowadays I don’t feel that way anymore either, but right when I got into kpop the thought of dating news terrified me. Not to the point I’d abandon my bias or anything like that; I didn’t consciously entertain the idea of actually getting together with my bias. But whenever I thought of them having a gf, it scared me for some reason. Idk why either but that seems to be a common thing with kpop fans... and companies encourage this kind of behavior (since it’s a type of very strong bonding).
  14. It lacks a certain oomph imo... maybe because it lacks a proper chorus. I didn't dislike it but I don't feel like listening to it again.
  15. Even in the country I live around Growl era if you met someone who liked kpop the question wasn't "which group do you like" but "who's your EXO bias?" (although ofc people liked other groups too). I think internationally the members departure affected their popularity a lot (especially in Japan), but it's really incredible they managed to retain such a popularity with so many "scandals". I'm personally happy none of the comments mentioned Chen negatively
  16. As the other user above has said, the thing is it took a while for people to warm up to the song. They did drop a lot in charts before the song suddenly went viral.
  17. the logo is great and they're both good dancers. Looking forward to nice choreo!
  18. my top 3 songs from the album so far! good taste melon streamers
