Bambam under fire for calling NewJeans’ Haerin his ideal type
No1 replied to My Everything's topic in Celebrity News & Gossip
It was as easy as not picking a teenager as his ideal type. He could have just said, she is too young and even that he finds it weird. But he didn't. The "it's just as a fan" is a poor attempt at covering his ass. Worst is that there was no statement afterwards. You quote Abyss, but they/he just encouraged his fans to report anything to them, and those fans don't give a fuck whether someone is rightfully rising an eyebrow at his words, or going off the rails and comparing him to creeps like Seungri or Kris (which is obviously wrong, and something I have to say lest fans run off with their own conclusions). Fans only care about doing olympic level backflips to protect oppar at all costs. What he said is wrong, regardless of intention. Intention does not prevent people from being hurt, weirded out, etc; I know this, you know this, he knows this, but he chose to go on a witch-hunt of his own instead of taking responsability for his words. -
SM's Lee says SM's Lee era over, bids farewell to his creation

Oh, fuck off. Are we supposed to feel any sympathy for a multi-millionaire scammer who was willing to screw over possibly thousands to get his way? I hope his deeds catch up to him. -

What was a Korean variety show that was quite problematic?

...excusemewhat? -
I'm not saying it's a consipracy, but it is an idea pushed to guilt people into complacency, making you think you're ungrateful for what you already have, or greedy for striving for something more; and it can be pushed by anyone, be it your boss - who directly profits from your labor, overbearing parents - who demand success from you, friends and strangers - who you might percieve as more sucessful, or even yourself - who might suffer from some sort of impostor syndrome. Everyone says it, and the ultra rich will obviously do nothing to diagree or try to disprove it because it's convenient for them for things to remain that way; that's what I mean. Fact is, it's almost impossible to feel happiness when all you're focused is work, paying bills, getting food and just trying to coast by. That is the reality form most people. I don't think each and every single person needs to be a multi millionaire to be truly happy, but once you've climbed over the financial hurdles of your life, you can then start focusing on your family, friends, hobbies, actually living your life and doing things you love. That's why there are also studies that theorize a cap on wealth, and after you surpass it, then it's easy to get caught on thinking that you need more to be satisfied, even if doesn't make you happy, which is something greedy wealth hoarders suffer from.

Lol, 4th gen idols wish they’ll get the longevity and success of SM’s 2nd gen idols. Calling groups like Exo, SHINEE, RV, and freaking SNSD has beens? Is it an edgy teenager who wrote that?

It's not an unusual thing in my culture. It's also how we greet and say goodbye to each other, but it's limited to kisses on the cheek; lip kissing is strictly romantic or sexual.

What things have become insanely expensive over time?

Food. Seriously, WTF? -
I regret not going to any of Soshi's concerts. I ccouldn't eneter USA because they're assholes and denied my VISA; and at the time, I thought I shouldn't spend so much money on traveling across the world to mainly attend a concert. But I regret it so much now.

It’s been a good few years since the hay days of the Big 3. And HYBE just came out and said they ARE trying for a monopoly/oligopoly/whatever you want to call it. https://twitter.com/durkhheim/status/1627943402632523778?s=20

You got that I’m an SM stan out of that? I don’t give crap about these companies; they’re all the same in my eyes. I’m against a company attempting to have this much control over an industry; it always screws everyone over. Why don’t you try reading my post again instead of skimming and replying without understanding?

This is not in any way a defense of SM and their shitty owners. I'm actually not even that worried for the idols, or the empoyees. Idols from SM are mostly seniors by now, and they've had very successful and lucrative careers, those who are not come from rich families, so I'm not too bummed about the possibilit of them not becoming famous and even richer, tbh. Trainess and employees are at risk of maybe not debuting (read prior point), and the employees - at least those who have been there for at least a year - coold easily get a job/trainee positing if they show they used to work at SM. Thhat kind of resume/experience is coveted in other companies. Would it be a bummer? Of course it would. No, what worries me is HYBE actively trying to kill all competition. They've already absorbed other companies; if they absorb SM, what does this mean for the competition? This monopoly HYBE is coveting for will kill all other mid to small agencies, effectively monopolizing, and potentially changing the market. Not all small to mid agencies should exist, especially not those who prey on young's people's dreams. Hell, the market IS saturated as it is, but there are some out there that although their main goal is of course money, they do good by and for their artists and employees. These companies would cease to exist either by not being able to compete with HYBE, or would end up being absorbed and broken up by them. So as much as I hold no love whatsoever for SM and their practices, I hope the tides favor them. And that LSM gets what is coming to him at the same time. Somehow.
