  1. I don't like got7 or JB, but what's the difference between this and the fanfics/thirsty comments/fancams? I bet some of the people who are mad have some posters that have the same purpose as "JB wall". He seems a little bit creepy but I wouldn't judge him until he does suspicious things.
  2. Even if the votes aren't rigged the favoritism is always there. They can always push narratives over participants like they did to Chanmi. Reality shows since the beginning have been rigged just in legal ways. Like most of pd101 winners had or used to have a good connection with CJ ent. It always been like this, remember who gets the awards in the end of the year lol.
  3. Tbh bipolar as a word doesn't mean bipolar disorder, it can be duality or something. However if they are referencing the disorder in the lyrics or the music video while talking about ur typical romance I would be very disappointed. I'll hold my thoughts until the actual debut happens.
  4. Instead of blaming Mina or defending Jimin, think about what FNC actually did for them.... nothing. She wants Jimin to recognize her mistakes, but that means whatever is left of her career is over. The only solution I see is Mina going to another country where she can get treatment and Jimin trying to get treatment too. All I see is a shitty company that never took responsibility of preventing this type of issues.
  5. He always has been bad. I mean people like Daniel bc his personality and he can dance, but in wanna one most of the time he only had rap lines. He isn't known for being a singer lol.
  6. I think rather than postpone the service or give an exemption, they should talk about the length. I mean if they do active duty is still 1 year 6 months, and most idols go from 1 year 9 months to 2 years. However Exemptions and even postponement shouldn't exist since in a way they are unfair and elitist, nor athletes or idols should get one. In general, service should be only a year rather than 2, I'm pretty sure if active duty was only a year every idol would enlist there lol.
  7. The celebrities are just propaganda, nothing else. People tend to forget here how China censors anything without question, and how controlling is the government. While I can understand famous Chinese people trying to be "a good Chinese citizen" since they were brainwashed since little, I can't understand Jackson, or the famous people who aren't from China. He could be still successful and rich with his international audience and his fanbase in Korea. Like how much money does he want to be so openly unethical? If he had stayed silent since the start I'm sure no one would had question him...
  8. Honestly the Kyla video was a mess since he did kinda endorse and justify the shaming. Like saying things she was overweight (when she clearly wasn't) and go as far as questioning why pledis debuted Kyla in "that state". He likes to put himself as an insider but his "idol friends" suffered the same with weight, it was kinda hypocrite to justify the company when he knows is wrong. I agree with you with the hate, he shouldn't be a target of bullying. However he does put idols uncomfortable since the idols just don't understand the jokes or the topics he talks, and doesn't seem apologetic for his controversies. Doesn't seem like he have many redeemable qualities, so I can understand why people dislike him ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  9. I saw the Kyla one, and it wasn't "informative". It said obvious things about kpop, like idols have to be skinny and how Kyla wasn't doing her job cuz' she wasn't underweight. Instead of being critical about the fucked up idol system that makes most idols STARVE for looking a certain way he was very much on board with Kyla=fat. He really was trying to defend the company, while he is "supposed to know" how much idols suffer. There are a lot of idols who do dangerous diets or starving cuz' idols standards when they are STILL underweight. Now the brave girls video was awkward since Edward itself isn't a great host, his video with Jessi and the Loona one... Yikes. Is not only that he speaks bad korean, he lacks to read the atmosphere in the room and tries to make "jokes" but even the guests don't understand, making things worse. I can list a lot of things that I don't like about him but being fair he isn't a great host.
  10. Nobody had good promotions, but it was their last promotion for IZ*ONE. I'm trying to say as their last concert is weird having it online, so maybe they could do something different instead more fan focused. Most fans already are prepared, but still it extended promotions is not being a permanent group, is just organizing their last stuff better than everything rushed and bad. Wanna One announced their last concert really rushed because not all the companies agreed to renew not to be permanent.
  11. I know I'm gonna get downvoted, but IZ*ONE didn't have the best promotions lately and I can understand asking for an extension, also for having a last online concert is kinda weird. However I understand some fans already made their mind for the disbandment.
  12. I always thought it has to do more with the income rather what member hates the other one. I used to believe that it was more about how Jessica was offered a different contract with her brand, and it was more unfair to some members that may have a different cut in their activities. Also Jessica would be still somehow active and had some guarantees while some other members don't. Remember that after 2014 more members embraced more individual activities than grupal ones, and not all of them renewed in 2017. I also think SM had to decided if keeping Jessica was worth the risk and make the other 8 members want to resign or sue. I still think SM didn't want to kick out Jessica initially since she was a popular member and had a lot of CF during 2012/2013.
  13. I saw momoland on a end year concert, I remember clearly how they give me such a bad impression. They were the least popular group on the line up and yet they were the least humble and most uninterested group I saw (even to their fans). I want to know what things the company told them, since they looked really done with everything (this was in 2019). Even if the girls were on bad terms or were rude, the company really didn't do anything to fix whatever was happening at that time.
  14. While in english Gfriend is pronounced differently than girlfriend, their korean name is literally girlfriend not Gfriend. So if they search gfriend in korean all they might get are stock images of girls being in dates. Is kinda the reverse reason of twice and winner, (g)idle is indeed a horrible name but is supposed to mean G = girl/여자 idle = idol/아이들 (just terrible name styling).
  15. I thought loona was having a comeback(?) also they are kinda busy now.
  16. Is true that it was more like a mafia before but that doesn't mean it was worse. Just saying but a lot of 2nd gen fans are now fans of newer groups too. A lot of tendencies of bad fan behavior are still prevalent now, so I wouldn't say it was better or worse before.
  17. In any website they hate international fans, but in person they are really nice. I think it has to do more of we put more effort than u (a lot time is false tho) and they give u (international fans) more attention. I mean a lot of people here hate knetz too, different country different perspective.
  18. BTS tried as hard as any group. They started going on tour since 2014 internationally with little success but they kept trying. I think if I'm not wrong the whole BTS PR was they started from the bottom?
  19. I remember a lot of people liking Bigbang, 2ne1, SNSD and Suju, even BigBang got this MTV documentary in english. I don't know if people remember B.A.P was in a 1D mv. BTS deserves everything they work for but why is so hard to understand that other groups tried before? LSM literally made the standard training system that EVERY company uses, even the Japanese market is changing to a "kpop" approach. Say what u want but the true MVP here is LSM.
  20. I like Izone, and tbh they shouldn't disband. I loved Wanna one and I.O.I, so I don't want the same future for them since they are doing really great now. All the members who were in I.O.I, Wanna one and even X1 didn't do that well alone. Also they are in the group for almost 3 years counting produce days, this is far more cruel than the other groups since they lasted less. Wanna One and I.O.I, lasted 1,5 and 1 year respectively and X1 not even a year. While PD franchise did was bad, the girls didn't do anything.
  21. It's all about trends, before this everyone was doing tropical songs/concepts, before that it was hip hop yolo thing (don't you remember, BAP, BTS, even BTOB, EXO, GOT7 and Boyfriend did some hiphop comeback around that time), and so on. If you try to go different is really a hit or miss.
  22. Is not only the concept, you need a good song too
  23. I kinda can understand Jonghyun and Samuel, since you only can vote for 1 in the final, and they were often 2nd pick rather than 1st. That can explain how they votes dropped so low. During the mid reveal in the final ep. Daehwi, Bae , Jisung and Sewoon were between 11/14, and minhyun at the last reveal was 11th. So Jonghyun was out of top at least after the mid reveal, and Samuel never made it. However I'm really sad that Miyu didn't make it :((((((
  24. Alcohol also makes people change their behavior and affects the people around you, such as drunk driving and worse stuff. I mean weed is bad and illegal but how can they compare smoking weed and people who risked people lives being drunk¿¿¿????
