I sort of disagree. I really appreciate that the members were really making some good points but I couldn't really hear them properly because they were talking over each other too much. It became quite overwhelming. There needs a be a balance. Not to hear the MC points of views its about making it easier for the viewers to understand and also allow other members to speak up. I think Yuan and Tyler wanted to say more but Julian and Sam were going at it. I understand why people think English teachers in Korea should also learn Korean, they might have a shorter contract (1-2 years) and are just there for the experience, but it makes living in Korea so much easier. They could get by with just English, but are also very limited in terms of connecting with local people. Learning Korean even as an English teacher could also help them understand Korean students more. In my opinion English teachers who could also speak Korean is a huge advantage. Even if they are English teachers, they're still speaking to students, teachers, parents, and other locals when living there.
