I feel like most idol stages with the few exceptions are too try hard. You can actually tell that they’re dead inside doing the same thing again and again like a brainless circus monkey. It’s also annoying how the cameraman always zooms in idols crotches or legs. I want to view the performance? This is especially bad for girl group stages. Even if the song is cute somehow they always sexualise it.

just watched Humsafar, fantastic drama! Mahira is so bae. Makes me piss off even more that almost all her scenes were cut from Raees. 

 

Anyone seen Sanju? Pretty good movie imo... i don't really know much about the truth, so some people might differ. Ranbir's best performance so far. I think he's so overrated and his eyes are ugly af and too close together, but he did well in this movie.  but Vicky Kaushal tho....  hes a cutie.

Everyone keeps recommending Zindagi Gulzar Hai to me. It actually used to air in India where I live a few years back. Sadly I didn’t watch it back then. I’ll keep it in mind thanksss :D

I have a few unpopular opinions, mostly about girl groups.

 

I don't know what has happened to some of the styles. Its not experimental at all lately. Its just the typical tight tops and shorts. Thats all I seem to see nowadays.

 

What is Jennie even wearing. Would people have the same reaction if it was a rookie group wearing this. I'm genuinely not hating because their previous outfits have been better. Their clothes doesn't match their "girl crush" concept that they seem to want to have.

 

 

 

People can say what they want about f(x) but at least their clothes fitted their concepts. Red Velvet was the same, but since "Bad Boy" and "Cookie Jar" it seems a bit boring.

 

Also I dislike when groups cover Gee and So Hot, because there are so many better songs that those groups have.

 

 

I'm not a fan of Jungkook's new hair colour. His natural looks suit him better, same with Tae.

Does anyone have any good new-ish movies to recommend? I feel like I haven't heard of buzz around a bollywood movie in a long while, except Padmaavat but that was a mediocre film that got more publicity than it deserved lol

 

I don't really watch many Bollywood movies anymore, its mostly the same. 

 

Personally, I prefer watching Pakistani dramas. Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Sadqay Tumhare and Humsafar are good ones. All on Netflix.

I got a ticket, but I am having mixed feelings at the moment. Its ridiculous how expensive the resale ones are. I could have went on holiday with that money ...but they have never been to the UK before, and I want to see them live at least once before I die

Not a fan of NCT dreams new song and concept. There’s nothing different about the sub units anymore. Also it’s disturbing to see some people sexualising the members when they’re still pretty young. They haven’t ‘grown up’ it’s just a concept which feels forced.

Lucas personality reminds me of Taehyung. They could be best friends.

Just watched EXO’s Olympics performance. Honestly I wish they performed better songs. It didn’t really have as much impact as usual. It was underwhelming. SM could have organised it better for them.

I really don’t care about the Olympics...

even if she wears headscarf, her face is shown, she wants to know the answer for her and his attention, yes she is disrespecting you but hijab is limitation of what can be shown so asking if she is beautiful doesn't negate her hijab.

 

She doesn't ask how her boob, curve, ass or hairstyle, she asked if he finds her beautiful in aspect that shown.

It's about proportional judgement rather than nullifying beauty.

I would have to disagree there. Hijab is supposed to be modesty in both behaviour and looks according to Islam. That’s the whole point of hijab to cover, not beautify it. Beauty can mean anything though. We don’t know what someone may find beautiful it can be sexual as well. Face alone is usually enough tbh. Flirting doesn’t mean you put someone down to do that though. If you’re trying to cover yourself what is the point, if you want male attention or them to find you pretty then it’s better not to wear it at all. Hijab is not an accessory...

This is not a rant against Muslim people but seriously today this girl really pissed me off.

 

I'm busy helping my family pack the grocery shopping, and some guy (her co-worker) thinks its perfectly fine to interrupt her serving us, and make conversation with her (basically flirting) whilst also looking at me, which made me uncomfortable. I was really tempted to tell him to fuck off and wait until we were being served, but my mother was there and I was busy so I kept quiet.

 

What annoyed me though was when the girl said "Who's more prettier me or her?" like wtf, you're wearing a head scarf, why do you care about your looks?

 

I should have reported her ass, but I just killed her with kindess by saying thank you. She was so rude.

 

Whats the point of wearing a hijab if you're beating the purpose by enjoying male attention?

Taehyung is handsome, so is Jungkook... but I think Yoongi is really charming. He has a playful and serious side which I really like. I feel like he is the real moodmaker of the group. Just watching their run episodes, he would do great in variety shows.
