There's this really channel on youtube who makes speculation videos about idols' weight loss/mental health and shit, and it's kind of sad to see how many views those get. The girl making them seems to have an ED, judging by her username, and I'm sure a lot of fans struggle with similar issues, but it still seems very intrusive and gross to me (well, to be fair I've only watched one by accident, but I don't intend on seeing any more). I've said it before, but it really seems like some people want their faves to be miserable sometimes, as if it were another competition.

Sometimes I feel like tragic events are an excuse for sadness porn, as if fans somehow enjoy speculating about other people beingsad. Some people seem way too involved in their own theories and speculation about idols' mental health for it to be healthy. But then again, a moderate to large part of ppl who get involved that deeply in fandom stuff are probably struggling with this kind of stuff as well, so that might be a way to cope and I should stop being a judgemental bitch (jk I can't)

Taeyeon is a dumbass but I cannot at bg stans trying to act like her situation is remotely similar to Kangin (whose bitch ass got in 4 drinking related accidents, 2 being DUI, and one of them being a hit and run) or like poor bg members would have been crucified. Hmm, you're using teaser pics for Why and I (and I agree, they look good), but she had very nice teaser/photobook pictures for My Voice; not really fair to compare it to the performance outfits, all of which were bad for Why. Persona was... hit and miss but it looked better than BK imo (like, BK felt way less polished in every way -outfits, performances, even the songs were not only her solo work, while Persona was in every way a very Taeyeon as a solo artist thing, but I digress). I don't like all of the styling choices her team makes but I still feel like there's an improvement? Like, they're trying, so I still have some hopes.

The infamous heart bangs are her worst hairstyle ever so 'I' will forever be an ugly-ass era, but even outside of that, girl looked like a sheep herder (with awful make up). I didn't like Why either tbh, especially her hair (like if you want to talk about frumpy, go watch her inki stage), and I actually thought that Fine era was sort of an improvement. Agreed about snsd styling being superior though.

Still find it kind of hilarious how sones convinced themselves that Tiffany was the ~number 1 sone who'd do everything for snsd~when it was obvious that the reason she hammed it up re: her love for snsd during the past year was because she knew she would be leaving. Her Ceci itw was way more in line with her interviews during ijwd -like even back then, you could read between the lines the fact that a solo career in the usa was her priority and that she was mostly over snsd. Not that there's anything wrong with that, all the soshi girls are, but fans really do blind themselves to facts.

What do you guys think about Kyle Hanagami? Asking because I'm a bit meh on his kpop choreographies, which I tend to find pretty generic and predictable, but I usually like the stuff he does for Millenium (although that might be because Haley Fitzgerald is often in them and I love her style, but).
