From left to right: Changgu (Yeo One), Wooseok, Hyunggu(Kino, leaning his head on Wooseok's shoulder), Hongseok, Hwitaek (Hui), Hyojong (E'dawn), Yuto (behind Jinho), Jinho, Shinwon, Yan An
I remember someone predicting that Yan an would be short due to his frame from his first revealed picture. But dang he's like one of the tallest. They really should have included visuals in the five rankings..after all sometimes visuals can make an idol the most popular member of their group over the main vocal.

is anyone going to be subbing this show? lol
-
Apparently wjc's recent weibo pic is about him having the flu and wishing everyone to take care of their health :,(
-
anyone needs studio versions of songs?
wait you have studio versions of the boys singing the songs that they performed? If you do then I would love it if you would share them!
Thanks -
can someone find me a link to the original song that GJC sang in the first episode, "Refuse to Play"? Thanks!!
and also the song that WJC's group sang in episode 5 called "Just Want to Say Loudly, 'I love you'".
I tried googling these but I just couldn't find them :(

Aww, why so little love on this thread for the duet and trios perfs? Personally I found some of the earlier perfs among the best in the show. Everything in 虫儿飞 was just perfect imo. And the most touching moment in the entire show for me still remain the part where the entire white team went onstage to support Zi Fan and Jun Jie.
I don't know if this had been said yet but interesting fact about the slogan white team used on that stage.
里外兼修 (li wai jian xiu)
宇宙最帅(yu zhou zui shuai)
春之少年(chun zhi shao nian)
独霸舞å°(du ba wu tai)
Well, c-netzs noticed that if you take the first word of the first three lines, it forms the name of their mentor, Li Yu Chun.
Yes! I mostly preferred the trio and duo performances. And to think that GZF was nearly eliminated! That slogan makes me miss the show even more now.. why was it so short :(

Oh the irony, I agree...
HAHA ! My ship name got noticed ! I can't bring myself to call them Jia Cheng brothers

Guo Zi Fan is still 17 tho so he could grow up a little more. I find Guo Zi Fan is a very good dancer, with acrobatics and stuff. He kinda has the same base as Guang Guang, but you can see that the team changes everything because he didn't get to showcase his dancing that much imo.
I personally disagree with the lack of visuals, 2Jia Cheng are super handsome and their visuals complete each other well, which is perfect for a ship. Guo Zi Fan is cute/handsome too. BUT I miss Han Mu Bo who has killer visuals (imo).
Sorry for that, but as you see, there are not a lot of active posters on this thread, most of whom are Red team biased, so that's probably why you had the impression that we didn't like white team stages.
Personally, it's not that I didn't like them, it's just that I preferred Red team most of the time.
But my fave White team stages are :
Stubborness (boxing theme)
I found EP 10 to be the overall best episodes, all the performances were awesome and recognizable. You remind all of them afterwards.
Hopefully they're gonna prepare their debut soon !

EeMedia will most probably split the frozen members which is a shame, but what can we do.
OR they might read my marketing plan and debut the younger line together.

I feel like GZF would make a good actor lol. I watched the variety show episodes and there are games where they have to act out scenes and memorize lines; GZF always shone. Zhao Lay looked weird to me at first but his looks grew on me. He's actually pretty attractive in some angles and is pretty refreshing to see once you get used to all of the same conventional visuals.
Yay, another white fan! We're a rare species here. Though I think combining red and white would make the ULTIMATE TEAM. I understand why ee media would keep them apart can't have all the talent concentrated in one group now. They might need XZ and PCY for other groups.
In other news I was lurking on weibo and saw photos of WJC at the airport yesterday. I hope it's for group activities!
Yes, I noticed in the poll here, WJC had like no votes! It's so different from China where he's actually the most popular one. And I can't wait until their group activities start! I miss them already.

Guys I finished every ep..
Now I have that post show depression. I was sort of biased to the white team throughout, so I'm happy with the ending. BUT I would've been happier if people from the red team such as XZ and PCY got to debut too. It's ironic to think that XZ was originally a part of white team and that PCY wanted to be on Chun Chun's team at first. Imagine the slayage if they both were with- as Kim Jin calls it- 2Jiacheng. As a whole, I feel like red team was more like a family- probably cause they were all close in age except for XJG. I kind of only looked forward to WJC during the show. I was sort of surprised that GZF actually managed to literally go from the bottom to the top in the show. He's not that talented in any area but at least he has a pretty stable voice and has got some looks ;) (He would be a woman killer if he were taller though and not as skinny). As for the lack of visuals that some people think that the white team has, I think that 2Jiacheng make an attractive pair. GJC is more of a laid back I-don't-care visual and WJC is a bubbly and charismatic one. Paired together, they are #1 ;). I can't believe that no one really liked any of white's stages (maybe I'm just biased). I loved the pirate(?) one that 2Jiacheng and Mu Bo did in the 5th episode:https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B63fhqsrxY8nVWFQQVhPYURYOWc/view

The lineup contains 4 members from only one team. They don't mix red and white.
No revival round sadly.:..

omg noooooo that's so unfair though..both teams have spectacular people. Did they mention what's going to happen with the losing team? It would be dumb of the producers and judges of the show to just let the losing team disband and leave, so I'm praying that they have something up their sleeves..

Ok i know that today the final lineup was decided but can someone just tell me if the lineup contains members from both red and white or just one of them? If it's just one side, then please just say that; don't tell me which one lol. I don't want it to be spoiled for me. And it's 5 people, right? I desperately hope it has members from both red and white. And can someone tell me if there is going to be a revival round? I'm currently on ep 8.

How often does a new ep come out? And does anyone know how many eps total there will be in this show? Also, are appearances on the variety show based off of each individual's popularity?
some things that i want to note:
- Han Mu Bo looks a lot like Ruby Rose lol
- Peng chu yue is so freaking adorable! Based on his manly looks, one wouldn't think that he could be so cute and quirky. I love his personality. I loved his first performance too, so damn attractive.
- And also Wu jia cheng! He is the life of his group tbh. Without any doubt he is one of the most talented of the bunch. He's outgoing, confident, good at singing and dancing, and entertaining on variety shows. Definitely going to be one of the last remaining contestants.
- Xiao De Jun is so handsome..he looks like Minggyu from 17.
- It's sad how some of the best vocalists are the least appreciated :(
- I wish that the judges and bosses were all people from the singing/performing field; it's kind of weird how they chose an actress (shu qi) to guide boys to be idols and show hosts to judge a group of boys for their singing and dancing. I know that chun chun is a singer and that the boys have private trainers behind the scenes, but I feel like it's still not exactly right.
- It also sucks that groups are eliminated and that there isn't any public voting involved. There are individuals who truly shine but don't have a chance to in their respective groups.
- I don't get the hype for Bai shu and don't understand why Chun Chun would choose Yan xu jia but not people like Peng ch yue and Gu jia cheng who both are very talented imo- and not to mention good looking. I guess it's the boyishly cute factor that many SE asians seem to be drawn to.
- and the blantant advertising is so funny lol.

Yeah I recently found out about SM's affiliation with this show and I decided to check it out. When I saw all the cute guys, I couldn't resist watching lol.
-
It's one of my fave performance of the whole show, even with the mic incident.
Their version is just so good.

omg yeahh..it stood out to me the most. It fits perfectly into today's trend in upbeat songs with catchy dance breaks. I would pay money for a downloadable version

the title in chinese is 一言难尽 by å¼ å®‡ (zhang yu) here's the mv!
thanks! Wow I expected something more modern lol. I guess what they performed was a remix. I really liked their performance!
-
hi, can someone hmu with a link to the song that lu si heng and wang yu wei perform in episode two? The eng subs said that it's called "Hard to Say". I tried searching it on google but I can't seem to find it. Thanks!
-
I think the fact that SM is revealing them now just proves that they'll be in a separate group. At this point they probably have the lineup made, so why reveal them after its already made? I think they would have kept them a secret like Joy. But even if they are a Chinese group I think they'd release Korean versions of their songs.
But why would SM reveal them so soon if they're not planning to debut them soon? I mean SR15B haven't even debuted yet. I feel like SM will put at least one chinese member into the group since it's basically multinational and only a chinese member is missing. But then why would SM introduce two chinese members? Lol this is so confusing.
-
I need a prayer circle to form for his Korean debut tbh. People are thinking he'll debut in the Chinese group.
Lol yeah :/ People are saying that SM will debut a chinese group after SR15B debut. Everyone's saying how SR15B is going to be a "multinational" group but to truly be multinational, wouldn't it just be logical to include at least one chinese trainee out of the bunch that SM has been hiding (and sorta revealing)? I wish that SM would just debut these two since they're revealed..can't imagine having to wait half a year after seeing these two visuals.

I keep changing my seventeen bias everyday
from now on everyone is my bias

the show interview from yesterday got subbed
it felt like Seungkwan was the leader of seventeen here lol.
and does anyone know why when the mc offered to play the thumb game he just laughed?

i think DK's smile is getting wider

dude that was freaking scary
-
I despise it when companies resort to creating stressful situations only to then play the sympathy card. Cheap game. Fan support shouldn't be given because he cried nor should it intensify because of it. They foolishly undermine DK in multiple ways. Sometimes it feels like they will only acknowledge particular 'it' packages - and like I was getting at earlier - he's not that, but he's a brilliant talent worth being cherished.
DK got my attention from the moment he began singing. Actually, he growled at 0:28 which made me sit up, and then when 0:35-0:38 happened... he won me. That's all it took.
How about you?
[MEDIA]
I'm really impressed that this song successfully presents every individual's strong point of a group consisting of over a dozen members. There's three different sounds are going on for that to happen. The transitioning is so smooth that it flows nicely and the overall balance is fantastic. It's a very tight piece of work and too well controlled for rookie standards. Did I forget to mention it's self-made? Their future looks promising already.
Thanks for the welcome. Woozi is adorable in those pictures, but I don't think he fools anyone by acting innocent. He's got 'mischief' written all over him and reminds me of a very young Minwoo (from Shinhwa). At his age, to be this resourceful and clever at the job is impressive, but he's also too hard to himself so I expect a fiery temperament in there (not a bad thing in my books). He's an interesting character.
I wanted to pat DK on the back and tell him that he's perfect the way he is sooo bad. Wasn't it Jessica that was complimenting Seungkwan the whole time or was it that other girl (Raina?). It's so cruel bc they probably knew what they were doing to DK and did it intentionally. DK's smile is the best and to see him put down like that when he wasn't doing anything wrong was just really mean. Anyways he caught my eye right when he appeared and started singing! He has this liveliness to him and his looks are on point. He's not the typical handsome face but that's why he's so attractive to me. Oh and not to mention his great vocals
I love hearing him sing! -
I need to release so please do excuse me...
The member I am most drawn to is DK (not in a sexual way). He's got a raw voice with beautiful funky soul in it. It adds a new layer to 'Adore U' and caught my attention instantly. I adore the vocal combination he has with SeungKwan. If you look at them singularly, both are very capable of carrying any song forward with their voices and both do so in their own ways. The distinction and the way their voices intertwine with one other is superb. For me, that is the strongest performance aspect of the group.
I'm more interested in DK though. To me, he would be the most exciting one to work with. SeungKwan has that classic tone that is heard in kpop time and time again, but not DK's - so that makes it more playful and adventurous. His voice can cross over to other genres that are not usually done in k-pop; Blues and Jazz would suit him well. I'm not sure how that would work in the group, or the vocal unit of the group, but this boy has a lot of potential.
My only problem is his self-destructive mission towards perfectionism. He beat himself up too much. It's what happens when you put someone down time and time again. Contrary to popular belief, sensitivity is not a bad thing. It's because he is sensitive that he can bring so much emotion and soul to the music. However, there have been episodes aired on TV showing him being lowered. He's been told that he doesn't stand out in the MV and that his singing is not good enough (which is utter shite if you ask me).

-
If that wasn't enough to piss me off, the boy is literally egged on to respond more immediately after being deliberately wounded for the sake of increasing airing views. There should be more consideration of the personal experiences of all members, and the naivety of DK (may God bless his soul) is that he believes what he is told by the Seniors who hurt him. The company plays a huge role in amplifying his vulnerabilities. I want to see things managed more appropriately.
DK is one heck of a character. You could even see it before his debut that he's made for reality shows, but I don't want to see all the fun when inside is a person who is increasingly weakened. I would find this worrying if it continues after their debut. The difficulties in transitioning from trainee to 'idol' does make young stars vulnerable, especially vocalists; they play the crucial job delivering the songs that requires them to open up emotionally to so many (mostly strangers to them) and express themselves in the most direct way possible. I want him to be better supported.
Obviously, every other member would have experienced scrutiny and disappointment of their own performances, but none of them have taken matters on so hard like DK has.
Summary: Do not fuck with the precious DK or I will come after you
I agree! I was so heartbroken for him when he cried during that episode! Honestly he stood out the most to me during their debut.
