  1. They never fail to support their labelmates... Just a reminder why no one has ever said BtoB has no talent:
  2. ^ At least Running Man for sure will be subbed; even though Minhyuk's athleticism/slaying speak for itself anyway, a totally different language. I just watched part of their appearance on C-Radio subbed, and they are really impressive when they're comfortable with a show; they're even more quick-witted than I thought.
  3. The one who posted this made a mistake; Minhyuk actually had 3 gold medals in the 2014 ISAC. He was also in the B team futsal which won gold, not silver.
  4. Just another confirmation he's not invincible after all... He already showed he can overcome his handicap (height/short legs); but no matter how innate one's talent is, there is still a need for training. That is why his personal record in the vault horse of 2m 40cm without a professional trainor jumped to 2m 75cm in December with the professional trainor. The 50m results in the current ISAC is similar, albeit more abysmal, to the results of his performance in the 100m during his second ISAC appearance. The results surprised everyone, even him, because he probably relied more on his natural abilities, while his opponent (Sanghoon) trained a lot harder than him; the guy even beefed up for the event. I think Minhyuk loves jumping more than running, so it's also possible he consciously or subconsciously gave up the medal for running, so he can medal in the high jump. He doesn't really have a choice which event he'll perform better in, however; his lack of preparation basically dictated "the choice." I'm sure his muscles were already screaming in pain (body's way of forcing a recovery period) from lack of workout prior to ISAC, but Minhyuk being Minhyuk ignored it. The high jump only requires a short surge in power, so the body is not given time to react and "make him" perform worse; whereas a run would give the body time to produce high levels of lactate which slows the body's capacity to do more work. The skill set for the vault horse and the high jump are also similar, so I think the training for the former helped him secure the win for the latter. For some reason, I'm slightly sad, not one of his opponents from the ISAC previous to this one, trained hard enough to actually beat him in high jump while he's not in his best condition (in his best condition, it's difficult to imagine anyone beating him). If Sanghoon was still active, I have a feeling he'd be the one to do so. Only he and Minhyuk among the top four have that fire behind their eyes; the other two are just too nice. That kind of competition would be so exciting, heart attack inducing. Well, maybe I'm not that sad... Minhyuk has to have at least one gold after all that pain.
  5. Maybe it's good that Minhyuk didn't dominate ISAC and Cube didn't get the gold in futsal again; at least the competition is not so predictable. I can't deny it would have felt good for Cube stans if they still won though; but at least Cube team is still the over-all winner.
  6. The guy gets a high from competition; he probably has high levels of oxytocin. Winning, or simply competing, makes him happy and he's willing to risk injuries. I don't think he had an injury though; I think his muscles are simply not used to strenuous workout. They were freshly out of a comeback and Winter's Tale choreo wasn't exactly heavy workout, unless winking is now considered a body-building activity. He barely had a week to get his muscles to wake up. He probably got the muscle pain from suddenly playing futsal and basketball in preparation for ISAC. It's just hard not to love Eunkwang.
  7. I think I'm still half-asleep... Changsub is going to be in ISAC? It's not like boxing is ever going to be in ISAC. I'm a little bit more awake now... He'll be there to entertain Sungjae, for when the latter gets bored. That seems to be their sport... Actually, Changsub is quite athletic since other than boxing, he has always been a skateboarder. Wait, there's gonna be extreme sports at ISAC! Well... With Minhyuk, extreme sports has been in ISAC for a while now. I better stop, before someone takes me seriously and lectures me about how they're not happy about ISAC because of injuries, cause you know Minhyuk ignoring bruises and scratches is so not safe. Seriously though, no one stopped him when he still competed after a surgery? I had my fingers crossed every day for I don't know how long after that, hoping his deciison didn't bite him in the end.
  8. Some comments on the two articles showed how gullible people can be. Those are not Knetz, those are Inetz. Though I guess Inetz are not as gullible or maybe not as ready to believe what you call "bigger groups." I guess we're less bully-friendly? I'm curious though how this turnaround came about. How did they prove that fangod manipulated the evidence? Is it the absence of the CCTV? Or did Cube have their own CCTV and somehow leaked it? I wouldn't blame them if they did. It's not like they read my analysis from here. Har har
  9. ^ But the sites that first released articles leaning against BtoB has not run any article disputing the original articles. NB said it's because the reactions were the same, so he/she didn't translate anymore. Yeah, after tarnishing a group's image, you say "Oh yeah, it turns out the other side is actually at fault." And in the comment section only... I don't even think he/she thought the comments would turn out to be mostly pro-BtoB. The dangers of reading blogs: blogs don't have to verify anything they put out.
  10. Why am I more excited about BtoB song releases in Japan? Will they finally get good songs from other composers/producers? Or do they just have to totally rely on themselves to come up with what they deserve? And when will they get dances not choreographed by elementary school choreographers? Wow and maybe Beep Beep were the only ones with more memorable choreos...
  11. Thanks. Not only did it seem to have been silenced; there's a complete 180 degree turn. I stumbled upon this http://kpopkfans.blogspot.ca/2015/01/god-fandom-manipulated-evidences-to.html?m=1 while looking at cute babies. The slightly sad part is the article has very little interest, so some might still be holding on to the thought that Cube and Melodies were at fault.
  12. Thank you. Reading about the issue this morning before leaving home made my day; it started a day of smiles and giggles. Coming home to this comment was the perfect ending for the day. WAIT... Should CNBLUE also change their name...? The color wheel has only how many colors? Yikes! I'm gonna have to invent a totally new color, watch me... Should I apologize for not taking this seriously...?
  13. They're giving away free toilet paper at Cube!!! Get yours before it runs out! It would have been better though if they were multi-colored, to make it easy to choose the change in BtoB fandom colors. Dang, are there any colors left for newer groups?
  14. The MV looking awful is the point to Hitmaker though, isn't it? The two, Doni and Coni, are supposed to be these producers who half-ass everything. They start a boy group with very little money, while pretending they're these ultra-amazing geniuses; they then earn a little money, pretending to divide it "equally" among each other, but really spending more for themselves and even taking a vacation without the boys on the pretext that they are shooting the MV. The green screen MV is the culmination of it all, then they dump the boy group and does something they have been more interested in from the beginning... girl group. Wait... what I'm writing seems so much like some real record labels...
  15. 16. The sudden unexpected comeback was a problem, so is releasing the MV not on a weekend. The great number is attributable to the Winter Tale's Project's efforts. Some international melodies shelled money for it. It's the first time K-melodies and M-melodies really banded together to make an impact. I don't know how sustainable that is though, if Cube releases more often. Fans have limited resources, since most are young. 58k... That seems to make the youtube views make sense even less. If these fans have watched the MV only 5 times each since the comeback, the number would have already surpassed what's reflected on the view count. However, we know a lot of fans watch the MV more than 5 times a day. A lot of them have also observed the cautions about clearing cache/history and all that blah. "You're So Fly" also has almost double the rate in increase of MV views daily. It doesn't mathematically make sense. Weird... Does Cube even do youtube analytics...?
  17. Maybe... but with their crazy schedules, his hanging out is I think healthy. His hanging out has also made non-BtoB fans of other artists check BtoB out of curiosity. I'm guessing it's not just his fluency in Korean, but also his accent. It's okay to have an accent while speaking and even non-fluency can be funny; but an accent while singing or rapping can be outright cringe-worthy. It's even good to have an accent if you're in a variety show, but not when singing because then the focus for the song is lost. It's easier for Asians to not manifest the accent, maybe because Asian languages are somehow similar; but Americans (and Canadians) have difficulty losing that accent, unless they heavily speak Korean at home. It requires years to become fluent with no accent, unless you have a special gift (and ears) for languages (some actors have that). Similarly, I know of American-born Asians and Europeans who mostly speak their languages at home and so they have accents when speaking English. It's not just the ears, it's also the fact that their jaws are set to whatever language they speak a lot more. If both languages are almost equally spoken at home and outside, then that's when it's easier to switch from one accent to the other. He also, I surmise, over-thinks when speaking. He's not confident that whatever he says would be well-received, even frowned upon, in the Korean culture. He is aware that he comes from a much different cultural background and he has been warned that he has to be careful. So yes, he needs to find the confidence in an unfamiliar sea.
  18. His rap in the first season is one of my favorites from that season (both the English and the Korean part) because he showed a glimpse of confidence. His song in this season is going to be also one of my favorites. Now all he needs to do is find more confidence and some chutzpa. I think Cube saved the last three as some sort of surprise. Hyunsik cemented his position in the vocal line, Ilhoon gave a few sleepless nights to some worrywarts, and finally Cube "said" this is one of the reasons Peniel is in BtoB. I think Cube did a good job in sequencing the different parts of season 2. The first 4 weren't much of surprises; they just did what they usually did, albeit a bit of improvement from the previous season. I was wondering why Hyunsik's wasn't the last one; but now, I think Ilhoon was a "just joking, but this heart attack is nothing compared to the final surprise that is Peniel." I think Ilhoon was just showing that he has a dark side too. Peniel's cover is seemingly "simple." There's no attempt at bettering Jason Mraz's, nor a complete copy of the original; yet not an attempt at trying to be part of the vocal line. He simply showed everyone that, yes, he can sing too.
  19. Peniel, not bad at all, not bad at all... His cover of Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours" should shush some naysayers, hopefully... http://tvcast.naver.com/v/266897
  20. Uh uh... A lot of Byung Ah Ri's will not be happy with just a snippet; there will be too much "chirping..." Maybe both?
  21. So they'll finally have a live performance of "Stress, Come On," since they don't have a new song yet? I knew you will post this; I was just waiting if you'll even beat the official Big Byung Thread.
  22. I prefer watching "The Beat" on Youtube because of the subs; but for those who can't wait, here's episode 12 (or is it 11?): http://tvcast.naver.com/v/252551
