Cube thought they can just coast along with being known as really talented and mostly good-looking with great variety skills; forget about the song... I think they made that mistake with B2st too in 2013; since the group was already very popular. I think 4minute suffered from the same thing as well. They forgot these groups are first and foremost singers who should have great songs. At least now, they are promoting all the groups a lot better, much better than 2013 and part of 2014. I still have issues with their promotions, though. I hope they grab and take advantage of 4minute's last comeback's "success" in China and use that wisely ASAP; they should not waste it and get the girls there, like yesterday, exaggerating much, but... BtoB barely got out when they were in their 1st and 2nd year. How does Cube expect people to know about them? People were like, you're good, who are you again...? With that face, he doesn't have to do much, right? His laugh is so infectious and unpretentious. When most other idols laugh, one can "see" their thought processes. It's almost like they're thinking "I should laugh here, so I will," so fake. Sungjae laughs with no reservations, plus he catches the humor lightning fast. Also, when he gets tired, he doesn't take on the fake smile, or at least rarely. And even when he's tired, he doesn't lose interest, he still has that "I'm focused" look. I think he's really very intelligent and very curious; and it shows in his eyes. He, however, probably sucked in school; it could be too restrictive for him. He'd probably be a lot funnier if they weren't drilled to be extremely polite. But then he's not a gag man... True. I think some of them should develop their beatboxing skills. Peniel is good at sound effects; he'd be good at beatboxing, maybe. Ilhoon, Changsub, Sungjae, and Peniel could alternate some beatboxing parts while the rest are doing harmonies. The first 3 have shown a little of their beatboxing attempts in some videos before, so it might not be too difficult to add beatboxing to their repertoire of skills.

Yook hyung brings out the best of Yook hoobae, or rather, let's the best of the latter come out. The two are hilarious; and I don't even understand what they're saying. Yook brothers need their own show together. Yook brothers for president...!

This is a much better episode than the previous. The editor finally realized Sungjae's laugh is infectious and not pretentious, thus the proliferation of close-ups. He won't initiate the "gag" type humor because he has to be careful since he's an idol and just like the rest of BtoB, he's very polite to people older than him; however, he can be funny when he's paired with someone who'd start the hilarious antics, then he'd go along with hopefully less reservation when he gets more familiar with people around him. The Invisible Man writers need to realize that he's the type who goes all out when you make him do stupid antics.

Hopefully, this will be subbed. Jackson seems to have a dedicated team who subs his appearances...? Thanks for this. The soft sub for this episode has been available since 4 days ago and I didn't notice; your post reminded me to check on the availability of the sub files for the other episodes, as well. Maybe I should also check if Kshowonline has the other episodes missing from my collection, even if they're hard-subbed...

Thanks, I haven't seen this one. They are being mentioned everywhere! This is so different from only a few months ago. Melodies becoming larger and more vocal...?

I suggested in one of my previous posts that archery might be the ISAC sports for him; your post "reminded" me that he might accidentally break the string on the arrow, if not the arrow itself, because he might underestimate his strength. He might not have been crowned the plastic wrap king; he was the plastic wrap frame breaker... I'll take your cue and say let's enjoy a snippet of the composer/producer at work: Again, for those who are about to curse KBS for not making K-Pop Planet available in some areas...
-
I don't think Hyunsik's epic fail lost him any fan. He didn't gain fans because of his sports prowess to begin with, anyway. Here's his Only One cover for those where K-Pop Planet is not available and has to wait for re-uploads, like me... Engsubs of Ep 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqOd25DZo0g Thankfully, there are/is FT Island fan/s doing subs for this.

BtoB stop it already, not. I see you everywhere; there's only 24 hours a day, you know!!! http://onehallyu.com/topic/144255-kpkf-cube-vocal-line/ http://pann.nate.com/talk/326117481?listType=c&page=2#replyArea

Even their debut was surprisingly good; but the first picture that made me think they were getting even bigger in Japan was the one in the garden in Osaka, which is a few days ago (or was it yesterday?). I didn't really look for the original tweet; but I saw the more convincing picture in the hall here: http://borntobeat.co.vu/ Edit: Okay, found it. https://twitter.com/BTOB_JPN/status/569539982152454144/photo/1

Has anyone seen the pics from BtoB Japan twitter updates, especially the one in a hall where they took a selca with the fans? The number of fans is almost unbelievable, even the upper floor is full; and the hall is not small. No wonder they suddenly announced several concerts; yes, not mini fan meetings...

So that's what this is about... https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=806941669399570 I was wondering why an old video is getting more view counts in less than 24 hours than most of their official MV on the first day of release; and that's not the only site getting so much views.

Changsub and Sungjae would be perfect partners. Changsub is not the type to run away from the balloons and would even try to catch them with his body if necessary. Sungjae of course would purposely try to hit his hyung on the face... after time is up. I don't know why Changsub has not attempted more ISAC. He seems to have control of his body, as evidenced by the sports he has chosen (skateboarding and boxing). Maybe he's like Hyunsik...?
-
At least Hyunsik has tried, even with abysmal results; I wonder about Peniel... Hyunsik needs to get out of his dungeon/ composing room and get out in the sun once in a while, so showing up in sports-related variety is good; he's too shy for other kinds of variety not related to music. He, Ilhoon, Peniel, and Changsub (if he can manage to stay awake for practice) might actually be okay with archery because they seem not to be easily spooked, unlike Eunkwang. I can't totally blame Hyunsik for the balloon-catching one, though. It would have helped if the girl actually tried to catch the balloons; she was running away from them, then dropped the paltry amount she actually caught. At least the two of them provided a big part of the laughs for the episode. The games they played seem fun, especially the balloon-catching. I can imagine BtoB playing those games among themselves. I'd like to see Changsub getting drenched with the water balloons and making his faces. Can you imagine if Sungjae was his partner? It would give the latter his entertainment quota for a week!

I haven't watched it. You mean Hyunsik? Poor him, he doesn't seem to be competitive and that can be seen when he goes against the other members in their made up silly competitions. He's just naturally strong, but lack the competitive spirit that Minhyuk has. Did the emcee make fun of him? If I were the emcee I would. There is a big disconnect between his body build and his sports skills; that's variety gold. I don't think Hyunsik cares even a little if his sports skills are made fun of anyway, since all he wants is to do music and a little drawing on the side. An artistic body-builder... Hey, Melodies who love to do fan arts should come up with a comic parody of that. Here's the better quality vid of Let's Go! Dream Team Ep 270: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2ht9un_%EC%B6%9C%EB%B0%9C-%EB%93%9C%EB%A6%BC%ED%8C%80-%EC%8B%9C%EC%A6%8C2-e270-150222_fun I guess I'll just watch for the eye smiles...? I also read that his dad's drinking "skills" were mentioned.

Better quality vid of Eunkwang making a PABOon of himself again: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2hqlwj_%EB%AC%B4%ED%95%9C%EB%8F%84%EC%A0%84-e416-150221_fun I guess Infinity Challenge viewers were saved from his dancing prowess for now, and Melodies were saved from having two face-palms...

I don't think Minhyuk is injured; he might have delayed onset muscle soreness though, and that should definitely play a big part on why he didn't win the sprint. I'm not sure, but it seems his face registered discomfort, if not pain, at about 36:02 of ISAC Part 1; he was holding his upper thigh after the qualifying run for the sprint event. DOMS didn't affect the result of the high jump because no one else could go near his record from the previous ISAC. His winning height is 10 cm lower than the record. Basketball is painful to watch. I'm taking a break from watching it right now; maybe I'll find the strength to finish watching the first part of ISAC after a while. A small part of me is glad that Minhyuk didn't dominate. That makes the Chuseok special, if there is one, much more exciting. Even the loss in futsal, though not their team's first loss in that sport, does not feel so bad. Peniel has done ASC a couple of times. Try the following playlist: Look for episodes 65, 66, 72, 74, 90, 91, and 92. He was also an emcee of Pops in Seoul a couple of times. Those were a tad awkward though partly because they tend to script everything to death, not to mention that Peniel can be really awkward around people he barely knows.

I actually enjoy watching practically everything on ISAC (curling was the only one which curled my enthusiasm, even Olympic curling bored me to death). The little snippets I've watched of this year's ISAC annoyed me though. I love watching and reading the news (I'm weird like that); but a sports event that seems like news just doesn't cut it for me. I would stay up all night to watch the Olympics even though I know I would be yawning the whole day next day, but I'm loathe to watch a news recap of the events. The last ISAC was the best editing in my opinion. I've watched that several times; and every time, I still enjoy it even when I know the results already. The editing was so good, it brings one back to the first time one watches it; it's almost like watching a drama. How does one appreciate a win, if one doesn't know how much better the winner is or even how close the fight was? Not showing other competitors and not showing the facial expressions before a run or jump just removes the "drama." And isn't the drama the reason we watch ISAC? It's not like we're watching it because the participants are so athletic, they can join the Olympics. And how does one enjoy a girls' high jump when the winning height is probably lower than the initial (lowest) height for boys? I'm female and that somehow gives me second-hand embarrassment because it seems condescending. I don't expect the girls to jump as high as the boys, but am I expected to think that's an achievement for the female winner? And then, the girls' event is a 100 times longer than the boys's event on broadcast? Oh yeah, they were artificially trying to put the drama in by having the "legend" sit on a throne-like massage chair... Thankfully, the legend actually won the girls' high jump. It's too obvious though that they're pushing "the legends are legends because they are good." Wait, is that why Minhyuk didn't win as much this year? Is it because he wasn't declared a legend, so he was not supposed to dominate ISAC? Sorry, that sounds so much like a conspiracy theory; I can't even want to believe that. Dang, that would be a good premise for a fanfic... I haven't watched the whole thing, so I probably don't really know what I'm talking about; but I guess I'm too annoyed even by just the snippets I've watched. Edit: "Minhyuk only wins 2 gold medals" --- Like that's not an achievement... Melodies are sooooo spoiled.
