Yep Motown had a school for training thier stars and everything. yeah it sorta got phased out around the late 60s, but it was basically training them to dance, there was a quality control thing that basically had people judge if a song would be a hit or not, and they trained thier stars howto act publicly.

I remember that too, they pretty much did say that stuff about Pop stars doing that time period, especially the ones that were formed via tv shows.
