  1. I was watching some of Ami's recent tv performances, and came across this video of Dream performing Darling as a band! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIsMY_hxDds Does this clip come from the dvd of Ami's new album or is it from somewhere else? I haven't bought her album and don't know if I will... At one point, (before Ami started to learn guitar) I hoped that Dream would do something as a band, like a single, but alas it didn't happened. So seeing something like this is pretty awesome...especially now that Dream has disbanded...
  2. When I first saw the Pink Champagne music video it reminded me of Dream's Perfect girls (the parts with Kana in a car and the pink neonlight city background in Sayaka's parts). The quality (budget) in both music videos is obviously very different. Anyhow I made a short (a quick and lazy job) video mix using some clips from Perfect Girls and the song Pink Champagne, for fun I only used clips with the current members. password: dream Is Bad Girls in Pink Champagne a cover of Donna Summer's Bad Girls?
  3. Ami won her role to be a vocal in the Follow Me single? I’m not sure if I’m remembering correctly, but in the Shyukan Exile episode that showed the training, I don’t remember seeing Dream in the dance studio with the girls or in the vocal training room, I think they did showed them but just working out on their own. Sorry it was so long ago I’m probably mixing up things from different episodes. I always thought they picked Ami because she’s the youngest in Dream. If it had to do anything with vocals then it would’ve been between Shizuka and Aya. I’m not sure which of the two is the better/stable vocal but personally I like Aya’s vocals over Shizuka’s. Now if Sayaka had stayed, and they did pick a Dream member from the training I think Sayaka would have been the choice. In my opinion among the 5 members Sayaka has the best vocals. Even if Sayaka had stayed in Dream, I still think she wouldn’t have been chosen; like I mentioned before, I honestly thought they picked Ami because she is the youngest. She is also quick to pick up the choreography (according to the rest of the Dream members from a shyukan episode or Music Fair). As to why they only picked those 4 vocals, probably because they were only choosing 16 girls and wanted at least 1 vocal from each group; Karen from happiness was a given since Mayu wasn’t even there at that time due to her hiatus (or was she?), between the 3 flower vocals, Reina, the most stable, and Ami, the youngest from Dream. They probably wanted to keep a good ratio between vocals to dancers, thus 1 out of every 4 girls would be a vocal, which meant another vocal had to be added. Since VBA3 did mentioned the unit Bunnies, it’d seem perfect to remind the audience that these girls (and the unit) still existed and it’s in the works. Also, it would help the girls gain fans before their debut. Thus the addition of Yuzuna as a vocal for Follow Me. Honestly, the training might have been for the dancers, because it just seems like the vocals were already chosen. However, even among the dancers, I think management already knew who they were going to pick, most of the girls come from an expg school don’t they? So this whole training show was probably to justify the management’s decision to the public/fans on why not all girls were in the A-side of the single, especially if your favorite member was not included. I noticed a few pages back a discussion about whether Erie is still a vocal and/or just a DJ. I always thought that the she only stopped being a performer (since the announcement notice only mentioned her activities as performer would stop in E-girls, and since LDH does make a distinction between singers and dancers by labeling them as vocals and performers it was unclear). However, I remember being disappointed when I saw that E.G – Style episode on Erie, which does mention her, “not as a vocal, not as a performer but as a DJ of/for E-girls.†This made it clear that any future singles will not have her as a vocal, but as a Dj, whenever she is included. Although for any songs that she had previously sang, I don’t see why she would be excluded, specifically in the tour. However, any songs that she has sung in would most likely just be part of her DJ-ing portion. If it’s for future E-girl singles, it’s probably going to only be in songs that are Dream & E-girls just like the last 2 singles, which came out after Erie’s announcement. I also saw a discussion about Dream members, their solo activities, and possibly leaving E-girls. Aside from expanding their work and careers, I think the girls are doing the solo activities to let the public become aware that they come from a group called Dream. I remember when E-girls started they would clearly, introduced themselves as Dream and make it clear that there were 3 individual groups that made the big group E-girls. I mean Ami as a solo isn’t just Ami or Ami Nakashima, but Dream Ami. In the Dance Earth Party’s profile, Shizuka is labeled as Dream Shizuka. Whenever, Erie is going to a DJ event she is labeled as Erie (Dream/E-girls). I don’t remember if Aya was labeled as Aya (Dream/E-girls) in shows like Utage, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it was just Aya (E-girls) considering she is the group’s leader and E-girls is more popular. Yes, the girls are still expanding their careers through these activities, so it is beneficial for them as solos and for the group. While I’m glad that they all have extracurricular activities outside of E-girls, I’m honestly surprised that Erie did go into DJ activities. I remember seeing this award show where they were being interviewed (something that look like a red carpet), and there was a music mixer and they had Ami try it and then she had Erie try it next, I immediately thought “DJ Erieâ€. In fact, I remember putting a post (not here but in another forum) in which I just referred to her as DJ Erie…long and behold a few months afterwards she went into DJ activities. To be quite honest, I’m not into music mixes and stuff, but I hope she does become successful in that scene. Personally, I think Erie would be perfect for voice acting! I hope she gets a chance to try that out at least once! As for Aya, I hope she doesn’t do anything with the managing of E-girls if Dream leaves E-girls. I honestly think she should try doing musicals (not like the ones Dream did, but interesting/fun musicals, nothing produced by LDH), or continue her photography activities, outside of LDH (so she isn’t a photographer that only takes pictures of LDH related things, like E-girls). So, whether Dream would leave E-girls or not, is hard to say. Dream definitely does benefit in being part of E-girls, however the sales for their singles from Only You to Konnanimo was around the same, with the latter having a bit of a drop, but they were able to have an increase in their most recent single, and this was after Ami’s solo singing activities started. While both E-girls and their solo activities benefit Dream, I wouldn’t mind if they did decided to leave and completely focus on Dream and their solo activities.
  4. While Yuzuna is part of E-girls and Inagaki Rio is no longer part of Rabbits (LDH?), I was wondering what happened to the other 3 members (Hagio Misato, Hanayama Mizuki, Gushiken Sae) since they’re not in that (fan-edit) picture. Seeing how Misato just created her twitter and is following former members of the trainee units, I guess she is also no longer part of Rabbits (LDH?) as well. I’m guessing the same can be assumed of the two members in question. Will Flower stay as six members? I would’ve assumed that LDH would add Marina and Risa as performers to Flower and Nishimura Yuumi as a vocal. Seeing how Yuumi was 17 during VB3 I’m assuming she is between 21-23 years old. Therefore, all 3 members are around the same age as the other Flower members. The members in the current girl groups in LDH don’t have a large age gap (excluding E-girls). If the rumor is true, I’m a bit surprised to see that LDH might debut Risa (a 92’) in the same group as Nishizumi Rio (a 99’), since the gap is about a 6-7 year age difference. Aside from Nishizumi Rio, the age gap between Risa and the other members is only a 4 year difference. If LDH does debut a new girl group this year, I think LDH will integrate the current members in E-girls (Yuzuna, Nonoka, and Anna I.) into the new group. If LDH does include those 3 members and all members from Rabbits, then the group will have 10 members (assuming no other girls have left or will leave). The tour might actually be a good way to introduce the new group, as well as announce and perform their debut single (if they have it ready). I hope they give the group a good name. Really like the names Passion and Charm from this poll. http://onehallyu.com/topic/199501-what-names-would-suit-rabbits-and-bunnies-from-ldh/
  5. Randomly came across a video that showed The Second, 3JSB, Dream, Love and Happiness taking part in the auditions for VBA 2 and 3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QW9LERPyAI It’s so unfortunate that Love never got to be a part of E-girls, never understood why they were excluded. I honestly think Stephanie and Misaki would have been a great vocal addition to the group. I also think that it was unfortunate that Yamamoto Sayaka’s vocal were never used in E-girls. It makes me wonder how different Celebration would have sounded if Love and all vocals from Dream and Flower were included. If anyone hasn’t heard Love’s or Sayaka’s vocals here are some songs. Love Misaki’s vocals in Still. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2gk9nq_vba3-3%25E6%25AC%25A1%25E5%25AF%25A9%25E6%259F%25BB%25E8%25AA%25B2%25E9%25A1%258C%25E6%259B%25B2-still-%25EF%25BD%2582%25EF%25BD%2599-%25EF%25BD%258C%25EF%25BD%258F%25EF%25BD%2596%25EF%25BD%2585%25E3%2581%25AE%25EF%25BD%258D%25EF%25BD%2589%25EF%25BD%2593%25EF%25BD%2581k%25EF%25BD%2589%25E3%2581%2595%25E3%2582%2593_fun?start=33 I wouldn’t mind if E-girls add Shionoya Sayaka in future singles. I think her voice would be a nice addition plus it would definitely help promote her solo career. Speaking of the VBA3, it’s been about 5 years. It’s been messy with Bunnies and Rabbits. Initially, 10 girls were chosen to form Bunnies, (Yuzuna, Isshi Anna, Yamaguchi Nonoka, don’t remember the rest of the girls). At some point, they were added to E-girls. There was a clear distinction between Bunnies and those that were EGD (E-girls Dancers); however, at some point Bunnies were no longer referred to as Bunnies, they were all lumped together with no distinction. Eventually, all girls that were not Dream, Happiness, or Flower, with the exception of 2, were demoted from E-girls and sent back to training, forming the 2 trainee units Bunnies (for younger girls) and Rabbits (for older girls). The remaining girls from Bunnies who have not left LDH and are not part of E-girls, are now part of Rabbits because of their age. Since the trainee units are called Rabbits and Bunnies, when and if these girls debut in a group it will be under a new name. Anyways, I was a bit disappointed that 9 dancers and only 1 vocal out of the 5 finalist had been picked. I think all vocals (except kyoka) were good. http://dai.ly/x2gq9ta On a different note... I know this was a random post, but just felt like sharing my thoughts.
  6. I had seen Dream’s performances of Perfect Girls, Himawari and Ev’rybody Alright! from TIF 2012 but I didn’t know they also performed Dreaming girls. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3WeA-sPDzk http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x132ab7_%EF%BD%84%EF%BD%92%EF%BD%85%EF%BD%81%EF%BD%8D-%EF%BD%85%EF%BD%96-%EF%BD%92%EF%BD%99%EF%BD%82%EF%BD%8F%EF%BD%84%EF%BD%99-%EF%BD%81%EF%BD%8C%EF%BD%92%EF%BD%89%EF%BD%87%EF%BD%88%EF%BD%94-%EF%BD%94%EF%BD%89%EF%BD%862012_music
  7. It seems Erie cut and dyed her hair (a shade of purple) some time ago. Personally, I disliked it when Sayaka and Aya cut their hair short, but the short hair definitely looks good on Erie. A while back both Erie and Ami posted on 755 something about filming. Perhaps they are preparing a new single or album (preferably an album). Hope, they weren’t just talking about the filming for their tv performance of “I love dream world†on Love Music or for EGStyle…. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3qvqy7_20160205-dream-i-love-dream-world-%E4%B8%96%E7%95%8C%E4%B8%AD%E3%81%AE%E3%81%97%E3%81%82%E3%82%8F%E3%81%9B%E3%82%92%E6%AD%8C%E3%81%8A%E3%81%86-2015-love-music_tv
  8. Was watching Colorful World Tour and my brother came in the middle of E.G. Anthem – We are Venus…When he saw Erie he said “She’s gorgeous†…hahaha… Unlike in the last tour, where Dream only performed 1 of their songs (3 if Peace Sunshine from DEP and E-girl’s Himawari version are counted), I’m glad they performed 2 songs (Darling and Konnanimo). In this tour they also performed Peace Sunshine, but this time around USA, Tetsuya, Naoki, and Mendy were there. E-girl’s version of Himawari was also performed again. Definitely enjoyed the performance of “Move it!†and “Kibou no Hikari~Kiseki wo shinjite†during the encore. Glad to see that Erie was able to perform as a DJ as well. Surprised to see that Happiness only performed two of their songs, “Juicy Love†and “Seek a Light†hopefully they’ll perform more of their songs in this tour. Looking forward to see what Dream, Happiness, and Flower will be performing for this tour. Blanket Snow will most likely be one of the songs Dream performs. Happiness will probably perform Holiday and Sexy Young Beautiful. Flower will probably perform Hitomi no Oku no Milky Way. The last two tours started off with great songs, so I’m wondering what song will kick off this concert tour. My guess it’ll probably start with DWMN or DDD. What songs is everyone hoping or expecting for E-girls or the individual groups to perform?
  9. Awesome acapella cover of R.Y.U.S.E.I (and Utada Hikaru’s Movin on without you)
  10. Amazing acapella cover of Won’t be Long!
  11. Why would Erie be edited out from The Never Ending Story or from the concert when she is in the album’s cover? I haven’t heard the song from the album, but I don’t think there is any reason to edit her out as she is still clearly part of E-girls, otherwise her profile picture wouldn’t be included and updated in E-girls OHP. LDH clearly makes a distinction between the dancers and the singers by referring to each as performer and vocal. Erie stated that she was graduating from E-girls as a performer and would like to support E-girls as a DJ. Whether she is still part of E-girls as a vocal and not just a DJ is unclear since I don’t recall any of that being mentioned. ~Edit~ Just to clarify, I don't believe Erie is edited out as a vocal from the songs or performances. I was just questioning why some people would think she would be edited out when it is apparent that she is still part of E-girls.
  12. Does Dream really get to pick the songs they want to include in their singles? I disagree that Dream is the one choosing the bad songs. Even if they do choose the songs, it is probably from a limited selection that management presents. I also think that what management presents does not have variety. I also think this applies to the other groups. Has anyone ever thought that Only You wasn’t intended to be the a-side? The covers for Only You, look like a total mismatch to the a-side. I ASSUME (as in it’s not a fact, it’s what I think) the cover was intended for the song BOOM BOOM as the a-side. If BOOM BOOM was intended to be the a-side and for some unknown reason that changed, I assume it was a management decision. I doubt the girls would have the authority to change the a-side. I don’t think they were forced to do “Dreaming Girls.†If anything that song was a turning point for them since they were all able to sing. In fact weren’t they disappointed that it got canceled and that they weren’t able to release a physical single for 2.5 years. As for that performance where it got mistakenly played, they could’ve been annoyed by the mistake not necessarily because of the song or they could’ve been confused. For E-girls, I agree that management doesn’t choose members solely on talent but also on their visuals, so I was a bit disappointed when Erie wasn’t made one of the faces for E-girls. I always thought that she was the most beautiful out of E-girls. I understand why Ami out of Dream was chosen for Follow Me. Her image and her voice fit the sweet and cute style of the song, and her blonde hair and hairdo made her standout. Since it became popular, it’s natural that Ami stayed as a face for E-girls. The only thing I dislike about Follow Me is that it was the first single to exclude members, and probably because it was a hit, management took it as an ok to continue doing it for future singles. I really don't think there was any reason to exclude any of the members in this single or in any of the other singles in which members were excluded. For example, when a member is not chosen for a cute single because she does not fit the image, it is telling her that she isn't cute enough. However, every girl is cute in her own way. Management should really make and follow the policy "No Member Left Behind." When members are excluded, they are missing out on the experience and the potential to grow and learn from them. It wouldn't be surprising if the members constantly left out become resentful towards management and the girls that continuously get chosen for singles. This might be a little off topic so I put this in a spoiler
  13. LDH just prove to have a broken system in promoting their female artist/groups once again! Did e-girls help Dream's popularity rise? Of course it did, as well as did with the other girl groups. It has even helped the yet to debut members (for whatever group they'll be in) gain popularity as well. However, I honestly never liked how they didn't have all vocals sing in all songs, or how they started to exclude some of the members. I think that putting the girls that are "right" for certain singles is bunch of bull....Lamest reasoning ever... E-girls means Exile-girls no? Does Exile exclude any of its members when they release a single? NO! But it seems like it does exclude other vocals that are not Takahiro or Atsushi. I like both their vocals, but I don't understand why Nesmith and Shokichi don't get more singing lines. Maybe they tried to reduce the number of girls in the a-side single so that girls stand out more, promoting not only E-girls but themselves and their individual group. To make sure the single would have better sales, the more popular ones would be included. Yes something like this makes sense, but honestly LDH could've done better and just have a few double a-side singles. Split the group in half. So each half would promote an a side single. Not only would this have allowed various combinations among vocals and performers, it would allow the members to shine more since the groups would be smaller. As for Kyoka, I don't really follow Flower, so I don't know how much her vocals have improved since VBA3. I do remember that I thought she was one of the weaker vocals in the audition, so I was surprised when she made it as a vocal. Rather than Chiharu, I thought Sayaka Shionoya had a better chance to making it into the group, especially since it seemed the vocal trainer would be praising her most of the time. She was my number 1 choice for a vocalist. While Reina has good vocals, I think LDH has made a great mistake in putting her as the lead vocalist, rather than making her an equal vocal with Chiharu and Kyoka. It honestly made it feel like a Reina solo with some back up vocals and her dancers. The way the current flower is it really seems like that but now there are no back up vocals, it's just Reina solo and her dancers. I'm not saying this because I dislike Reina or Flower, but it just feels and looks that way to ME. It honestly felt like that when Aya and Shizuka were the main vocals and the rest were just backup vocals and dancers....While I like the songs I didn't like the groups system for Dream then, and for Flower either (for the vocals, of course). There is no point in making a distinction between vocal and performer if the vocals aren't vocals. Somehow I'm kinda glad that Shionoya Sayaka, is a solo rather than in Flower, especially, if there was a chance of her not getting a sense of equality as a vocal. Although, I do believe that she would have receive more of equal treatment as a vocal, since her singing is unique and powerful. However, I think LDH has been doing a bad job at promoting her as a solo. How many tv shows has she come out in to promote her singles? So many emotions at the moment I'm furious, I'm heartbroken, I'm disappointed EDIT: If Erie is still going to continue in Dream then I'm happy and relieved. But I still think that LDH could do a better job at promoting its girl groups.
  14. For a collaboration these are my top pics! FLOW SawanoHiroyuki[nZk] Dream
  15. I also think it's because Dream is the only vocals in the song. The song title "move it" also reminds me of dreams debut song title "movin' on" (of course the songs don't sound anything alike) released on Jan. 1, 2000, and the album is releasing on Jan. 1, 2015, dream's 15th anniversary, so I also think this could be why dream are the only vocals. The pv could have been released with the single, but they decided to release the pv with the album. If the song didn't have a pv, I don't think it would have been Dream & E-girls. However, the song has a pv, and the soundtrack can be recognized as a dance track from one of E-girls intro pv, thus it would make sense to call it Dream & E-girls. Dreaming Girls inclusion in E-girls' Celebration was because Dream's single got cancelled. Flower's Hatuskoi inclusion in GnKY was because they won the battle against Happiness.
  16. Don't pretend like you're innocent. We all know it was you who made the fake account. You and the other guy are the only fans who go around making so many fake accounts. No pretendas ser inocente. Todos sabemos que fuiste tu la quien hizo esa cuenta falsa. Tu y el otro son los unicos fans que hacen muchas cuentas falsas de las integrantes.
