Ah! but they're still friends, they might not show it or spend a lot time in public with the other, but they have those little gestures, actions and a caring way of talk about the other, that say more about their actual relationship than what fanservice could. Just the though they keep doing things that evidence they know each other well (in Manila fanmeet Wonwoo could tell Jeonghan was personifying Mingyu by just seeing him walk in a cool way, or when Mingyu said in their Vapp anniversary party that Wonwoo keep using him as model...) and get along well, make me happy for them and their friendship (that come first than the ship)

During predebut they said they were closest to each other. Nowadays, wonwoo says he's closer to hoshi while mingyu is closer to minghao so sad.

 

I feel like it's because fans kept on asking them about the shipping so they got uncomfortable. Wonwoo seems especially uncomfortable but who knows.
