I miss Siwoo as well. His arrogance and his bratty-ness, he was really cute. I especially love the scene where he and his mom were sitting together and he's like mom is it possible for a girl not to like me. I love Myunggyu. Sunggyu really adores Myungsoo. He's always letting him cling onto him and the amount of skinship between them during "Diss is Infinite" just cemented the fact that Myungsoo is his favorite dongsaeng. I don't have enough posts for the badge yet but I probably will by the time everything is organized for the badge. You should try posting on the f(x) thread, from what I've seen from their fandom they are friendly and I think many of them would also support in getting a Myungstal badge. Yeah his aura has changed. Like you said at least Do Yeon was good for something.

Hopefully this time the director and writer are good and not just casting popular idols to get profit from China, or trying to get high ratings. Thus, far the only project I liked him is was SUFBB. Yeah I saw that as well. But they haven't even confirmed if they are going along with the series so how could they have already picked a cast. Plus I rather Woohyun do a solo then act.

Is there a Myungstal badge? I want it if there is. And I agree with the fact that Myungstal makes more sense than Myungyeon. I think people just went off of his ideal type and picked or, or the fact that they would look good together. I haven't seen them interact so the ship has no basis. Ah the Infinite amount of hugs and kisses. I wished the show was longer so we could see more of their moments. You know when I see these kind of things I'm think that Myungsoo has really matured. Before he used to be all about finding the one ideal girl, but after he dated her he probably realized looks aren't everything. And I thinks that's one of the things we all learn as we get older. We all have the expectation of finding that perfect someone, but once we do find them, we realize that looks can't describe a person's personality. So I'm glad to see some maturity in Myungsoo. I think it was a good thing for him to date because it finally gave him that sense of reality and an actual learning experience about love (aside from his shojo manga).

A cute anecdote: I was rewatching the latest episode of Weekly Idol with Infinite on the TV and my mom totally thought Sungyeol was so handsome. She's like he's so tall and slim and has a nice smile. My mom totally fangirled and became an Inspirit. Oh wow! That makes me feel old. Kay! My mom as well! Refer to story above! My mom likes the song "Still I Miss You" and "Only Tears." Really? I never really thought about how old some of the Inspirits are compared to me. I guess it never occurred to me, but now that I look back on it and think it about, I think I'm one of the youngest ones here. But you guys shouldn't feel old, like I said before, you guys are at a beautiful age and should have fun. Besides age is just a number, you should be young at heart. Is there anyone else on this thread who is a 97? I know Infinitea, is my age, but anyone else? Or even someone younger?

First of all thank you for the long and insightful response, it really is helpful. Well I used to write romantic comedies but now I'm really actually writing in angst, mixed with romance. As for pairings I like Myungyeol or Myunggyu. I would like to write romance, because before I've only written stories based off friendship or a platonic relationship. I really like the idea of writing a story based on the song. Its short and not time consuming and definitely helps with the flow of ideas.I'm going to try it out and let you know how it works. Its also a good idea to use prompts as well. So I will definitely try that as well. I agree I don't like the tropes or stereotypes people also excessively use in fics, like how Sungyeol is a choding or how Sungjong is a complete diva, or how Woohyun is greasy. It gets tiring and frankly makes me want to drop reading the story. I also read your fan fictions and I like how you write you characters and your plots are also very original. I really liked your story Inked Heart but you haven't updated in a while so when you probably do I would have to go back and read it. But that's okay, because I know you are busy. Speaking of the relationship between Infinite members, I was thinking of writing a grand fic about all the members from pre-debut to now. I think it would be interesting to write about their struggles and hardships, especially coming from a small company and how some of their friendships came to be. Like how Sunggyu and Woohyun turned from enemies to close friends, or how Sungyeol and Sungjong joined Infinite last and how there probably was some shunning or ostracizing. IDK, for that fic it would be good if I could get some input from other people who have other biases in Infinite, to get a better sense of understanding or perspective. Plus it could be difficult trying to give each member a different voice and perspective. The Harry Potter AU sounds really interesting I might end up writing it however I would need a crash course on Harry Potter since I forgot a lot of the terms. But I'll try to write it after my exams and make it really cute and fluffy. I was also reading Bunny Drop and I was thinking it would also be fun if you have like Sunggyu has a young man who suddenly has to take in a kid due to some circumstances. It would show the challenges of having to raise kid especially at such a young age. Now that I'm discussing it with you a lot of ideas have actually come from the back of my mind, so thanks so much. Yeah I agree with you. There is a difference between a guy looking out for girl and a guy who is basically possessive and controlling. The lyrics really make the guy sound like a jerk, and not someone who cares about his girlfriend.

Yeah I liked his hair in that as well and also he looked really cute with the pink hair during Infinite H promotion.

I like it. It was getting too long, and unless it was styled properly it didn't really suit him. I'm also glad L's hair grew longer.

I know what you mean. I've actually experienced it as well, and seeing the video just made me really uneasy and uncomfortable. Even though it was for the purpose of entertainment I just couldn't see it that way. And as someone who felt uneasy, I was also thinking that other victims of sexual assault would also see this in a negative light. I'm not trying to blame Infinite or anything but it was a good decision to not release it. And TBH this is a music video so many people could perceive it in different ways. I know the original intent was for it to be funny, but some people might not think that.

IDK but that's what it felt like watching the video. Like its okay for guys to touch you and approach you and ogle at you if you are dressed in a certain manner, and what I should change it to is sexual assault or harassment instead of rape. Like maybe how they shot the MV, to me it made it feel like they were demeaning women. Some of the messages that I got from the lyrics and the MV: If you dress sexily you will get sexually harassed, because “all guys are wolves†and if you get harassed, it was because you dressed sexily. Moreover, there is a lot of victim blaming by saying that you will/or got sexually harassed because you exposed to much. Inspirits or fans in general make a such a big deal of things when an idol is crowded at the airport, or pushed by fans but in the video. They call it sexual harassment and abuse but Infinite are crowding the woman, taking photos of her with their cellphone, wanting to get a piece of her. Because her clothes implied that she was asking for it? Well, idols like DBSK and even Infinite are also sexualized in their videos, by wearing revealing clothing and flashing their abs. Aren’t they asking for it as well? If they appear in public, obviously they ask to be mobbed. And groped, in the case of some airport incidents. This is not a post written to specifically bring down the name of Infinite; I love them all, but this is a poorly conceived video, and I just feel like it was damaging to their images in other countries of the world where there is a lot of belief in feminism.
