  1. um is it just me or is no one actually bashing exo here? i mean i just read it all and i haven't seen anyone on this thread bashing exo personally, so idk what y'all are disappointed about.

i ain't against exo.  i am against sm pushing them and their fandoms together for like the third time, which is rather overwhelming, and i am against infinite getting hate from exo-l's

honestly the hate that exo is getting aren't even the ppl on this thread, so unfortunately there's not much we can do complaining about it here.  sighhhh, i just hope that the stages end up being awesome so we can all be happy in the end.

  2. http://www.soompi.com/2014/12/25/exo-and-infinite-to-collaborate-for-special-stage-at-2014-kbs-gayo-daejun/#.VJwkMVg43H0.tumblr

ok well according to this, infinite and exo chose each other, and that they worked together on everything themselves (like choosing the song, etc.).  idk how much truth is in this, but if it is true i kind of feel bad for all the negativity around this project.

if it's what the boys want, what can we say?

hopefully once the actual performance comes out, everyone can stay peaceful.  it's christmas time yeesh.

but anyways, MERRY CHRISTMAS GUYS!!!! first christmas as an inspirit

  3. ok so the infinite+beast+exo perf is for the kbs 2014 music festival, while the infinite+exo collab is for the kbs gayo?

lol so basically we all just gotta deal with infinite and exo performing together

as for the cigs lmao k-fans act so extra.  yeah smoking sucks but really only newbie k-fans should be surprised that their oppa smokes.

  4. hmm ok.  i was actually looking forward to an infinite-beast-exo collab (admittedly more for the infinite-beast part), but an infinite-exo collab seems to have potential for impressive dancing!

exo's not my fave, and im pretty done with exo being shoved everywhere, and i am a little miffed at the constant times infinite's been shafted at end-of-the-year shows, but i do agree that we shouldn't put exo down.  none of that is exo's fault anyways.

still waiting for a shabi (infinite-beast-shinee) collab  :rlytearpls: praying to kpop gods rn

infinite and exo tho.  can u imagine the power of k-fangirls between those 2 groups? i hope everyone comes out alive...

  5. i really don't get the whole woohyun-is-the-unloved-child sentiment.  if there's anyone shafted from attention ive always thought it to be dongwoo actually, who i feel like deserves a lot more love/attention (from k-netz at least) with all his talents (singing, rapping, dancing - what can't he do?) and his wonderfully down-to-earth and honest personality.  it's a shame he gets put down for his looks as well, even though he's adorable when styled right and has such a cool, unique presence/look (and it's cool that he's able to pull off all kinds of bizarre looks and make it look fun with his sort-of playful confidence).

not that dongwoo doesn't get enough love or is ignored tho.  i think all the members have been well promoted compared to other groups.  i think its just that dongwoo is so awesome to me that he just always deserves more love lol

  6. one of the comments on the woohyun pann:

    4. [+50, -0] It's interesting how Infinite has such a small number of individual fans. The members all have similar popularity! The fans like all the members ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ They have their own bias but I barely saw individual fans ã…‹ã…‹ Interesting

im happy that this is actually a thing that people notice than just my own opinion... but i seriously do like all the members and the term "bias" is really applied loosely because all the members have something awesome to offer and all make me smile in different ways

    ==

as for the thing that got me into infinite, it was this interview where at the beginning it showed a brief montage of all their title tracks.  now i had known kpop before but i always just made fun of it, i knew the kpop songs but i didnt know/care which songs were from which groups.  after watching the interview i realized a lot the songs that i had noticed and admitted were good came from the same group (infinite)

after i got into kpop i searched around other groups and songs.  but i stuck with infinite as my bias group - i have pretty high standards in completely stanning a group (the groups in my sig i just listen to the songs and nothing else) and only infinite hit all the marks for me - likeable members, good songs, good variety shows, talented members, good visuals, etc.

yay woohyun pann! (of course positive comments, really can't think of anything to not like about him, massive cheesiness aside)

lots of inspirits on pann it seems... has it always been like this? the past few days basically had a different infinite member article rank in the top panns lol (sunggyu, hoya, woohyun and today has L) and lots of articles have them in the comments

    5. [+693, -36] I remember when Gayo Daejun, Gayo Grand Festival, and Gayo Daejejun were all great music ceremonies but it's getting questionable now. Honestly, Epik High didn't win anything, B2St was given nothing, IU wasn't even invited? BtoB was announced the wrong song title and treated like back dancers, A Pink wasn't given any respective, INFINITE won nothing... I'm not taking jabs at EXO but this has gone too far.

    6. [+737, -55] INFINITE, B2ST, Taeyang, GD, and IU not winning anything means there's something wrong

    more positive infinite comments yaay!

lol maybe even too positive actually... i thought infinite had a pretty ok year sales/impact-wise (very solid but nothing too standout imo) and i'm ok with them not winning anything so im happy that some k-netz think that infinite should've won something

  8. A change in concept doesn't have to be permanent.  Infinite is the prime definition of that - CBA>She's Back> BTD>Nothing's over had dramatic shifts from dark to light concept-wise (this is specifically why i really don't understand why ppl accuse infinite of having the same concepts when they're one of the only boy groups to successfully pull off both dark and light concepts).

Gsd shifted from Something to Darling as well.  also a lot of korean fans want snsd to go back to an innocent concept.

Concepts should always be secondary to the music anyways. I wouldn't stop stanning a group because of a change of concept, but if the members end up too problematic or if I don't like their songs anymore

  9. I really believe Sungjong deserves the spotlight for this MV/Japanese comeback, he's the only member who hasn't danced in the front in the chorus part of their choreos, he's always kinda ignored   :chu:  Give him a chance pls

    sungjong does need more spotlight

BUT WHO CAN FORGET SUNGJONG'S ICONIC AF LEG HAND-RUB DURING THE CHASER

  10. i think downvotes is just supposed to indicate that you disagree, so ppl feel inclined to downvote.

also popular idols will always get hate naturally.

my sort-of-out-there opinion is that ppl who hate on myungsoo out of jealousy that their bias doesn't get as much attention or for other reasons (i hate to think that ppl are that petty, but lbr fans -especially young fans- are like that) rely on the insult that "L can't sing!!!1!" as justification for their hate, and can't accept that myungsoo has improved and that some people DO happen to like his vocals.

and then of course there are people who just don't like myungsoo's decisive vocals (it is nasally and unique) and that opinion is a perfectly valid one.  i just don't get why ppl are allowed to hate on his vocals but not allowed to actually like his vocals.

  11. visuals are hardly unanimous anyways.  the only visuals i can think of that are usually indisputable in korea AND internationally (as in, even if u have a different taste u still have to admit u understand why the visual was chosen) is bb top and infinite L.  even big visuals are disputed particularly internationally (suju siwon vs donghae, missA suzy vs fei, f(x) krystal vs sulli vs victoria, snsd yoona vs jessica, etc)

i think right now sujeong has potential, ppl in korea thinks she's adorable.

my vote's for mijoo tho what a hottie

but honestly everyone is really attractive.

  12. these guys are thE BIGGEST MOTHAF*KIN DORKS OMG

its like one of those joke vids that u make with ur friends in high school on imovie LMAOOOO

also really cute.  im happy that these guys seem like they're having fun with everything.

and as for which member holds the bond, i honestly just agree with what sunggyu said that the bond is strong because all the members are simply kind people.

and i like how each member brings something unique to the table, even sungjong and sungyeol, sungjong hella promoted in the beginning and had that "kkap-dol" identity, and sungyeol fucking ran sesame player.  dongwoo and hoya are seriously two of, if not the most well-rounded idols in the industry.  the rest of the members i think we discuss a lot already
