wow i actually like all the photocards, and i think this is the first time i like all of them tbh. i like the hairstyles. aww man i wish i was there so badlyyy
-
i think it definitely is. i dont mean to put infinite's music (+ all of sweetune's productions) on a pedestal but they're usually a lot more complex than what u usually see in pop music that usually just loops a beat. u can focus on the beat, the main tune, or the background instrumentals (they're my favorite, and i can always find a new thing every listen), and that's all without even understanding the lyrics.

lol a lot of the times i just get reaallly in an infinite mood and just replay everything like last night i just marathoned random infinite live perfs.. i always enjoy seeing how they climb the ranks too
-
that second picture also yasss @comments praising omggg so ready to watch.. they look so cute with messy hair lmao. and i love those sweaters!
-
yo dawg its cause its the same, repetitive songs that get popular. so many nugu groups started off fresh but then switched in order to catch popularity. there's some great kpop songs out there of superb quality that gets buried under dull releases by more popular groups
-
so i remember reading this pann from a while ago and idk why i just thought about it now but its funny basically it was about infinite doing "totoga" and everyone was just joking about ahjussi infinite doing the scorpion dance lmao
-
ITS SO GOOD gonna replay pretty a couple a times and than listen to the album the mv is so funny

pann's thirst for sunggyu is too real http://pann-choa.blogspot.com/2015/01/enter-talk-theres-no-idol-like-him-in.html do they not remember there was an exact pann like this like some months ago? lmao the title is rather grand :D go leadergyu

DONGWOO SLAYED ME IN THE TEASER OMG with that boy i swear, like i admit i get it when k-netizens and others call him "ugly", my mom's korean so i totally get their beauty standards and i get that he's objectively different-looking, but man, the right styling, expressions, and a mixture of his charm/playful confidence makes him so hot like damn. u cant deny that he can rock any look. also about their popularity, honestly, what can u expect? they're hitting 5 years, so many more new groups are debuting, etc. etc. if anything, we should be happy that they're still buzzworthy, they're complimented, they're noted as part of Shabeain (which are pretty much the most respected groups on sites like pann - they're respected for good music, light scandals, good fanservice, etc), they're still the top 4 groups in high schools (beast, infinite, winner, exo), they get good digitals for a boy group. And they have a rather good balance of international and domestic fans. it'd be cool if they didn't, but i dont think i would mind too much if they flop this year. Groups in the past used to disband altogether after 5 years. i think i can take flopping singles over that.

well you aint alone lol: 1. [+180, -18] What's with iKON???? Why is it so big???? Did an iKON fan make this? 2. [+166, -16] INFINITE, SHINee, and B1A4 look too small... (personally) 3. [+115, -48] Even as a B2UTY, I think SHINee and INFINITE are too small. SHINee's talented and has a lot of fans in Korea and overseas. They should be at least as big as B2ST but not any less. EXO-K and M combined are too big.. I don't hate EXO but they're not that big. 4. [+76, -0] I understand Winner's size but iKON's is ridiculous. INFINITE and TVXQ and SHINee are also too small. B1A4's is too small compared to their popularity as well. If you put EXO-K and M together, they're huge. 5. [+65, -0] If you combine K and M, they're four times the size as TVXQ... and iKON hasn't even debuted yet, they're too big as well. TVXQ, Big Bang, SHINee, and INFINITE are too small. 6. [+53, -5] I'm an EXO-L but aren't VIPs bigger than EXO? and why are SHINee, Block B, and B1A4 so small 7. [+46, -2] Winner and iKON are practically on TVXQ's level in size ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ 8. [+42, -1] TVXQ, SHINee, and INFINITE are too small 9. [+41, -0] Big Bang, TVXQ, and B2ST are far ahead of the rest. I acknowledge that EXO have a lot of fans in their teens and twenties but the three have a lot too, just that their fans aren't as active online as EXO's. 10. [+39, -1] INFINITE's is way too small pretty much this map is bs, how is ikon bigger than winner, why is exo even split up, yada yada yada.

http://kpopkfans.blogspot.com/2015/01/if-you-were-idol-which-company-would.html lmao at top comment it is interesting tho how much k-fans are over woollim's controversies (w/ epik high and L, etc.) idk i-fans are still pretty pressed, and usually its the other way around.
-
i know it's hard, and obviously defend when it is needed, but i wouldnt get too scared/insecure by other groups. what happens in onehallyu definitely does not equal what is the case for the rest of the kpop fandom.

idk if this was posted yet but yay individual panns for yeol and hoya! infinite's popularity on pann is always impressive both of these articles ranked top 10 views in their respective post dates which is pretty impressive considering its only about one member http://pann-choa.blogspot.com/2015/01/enter-talk-infinite-sungyeol-is.html http://pann-choa.blogspot.com/2015/01/enter-talk-why-is-hoya-so-awesome.html (the hoya one is pretty awesome)

i don't think lovelyz is established enough to own a concept tho? plus i doubt lovelyz is gonna stick with the schoolgirl concept, knowing woollim. concepts really only should last one comeback anyways. also what is apink's mv concept? isn't that just a cute mv? i don't think apink owns that either?

im amazed at L's relevancy tbh... the pann on doyeon reached 360k views which is a loooot of views for pann (even 10k is a lot, kpkf translates about 30k and up). im assuming she ain't that relevant on her own. also amazed that L got away with saying stuff like that. the translation seemed harsh - he totally deserves to say that, but still fans are scary. im happy that the fans realize how stupid they were and now they get to feel like shit for it. im amazed L's popularity still managed to survive (considering some exo-L's reaction to taeyeon/baekhyun on pann...)

http://netizenbuzz.blogspot.com/2015/01/infinite-suffers-for-golden-disks-lack.html lo and behold there's a netizenbuzz... pretty much repeats what we've been saying. im actually not sure why nb posted this cause the upvotes werent that high but at least there's more exposure to the injustice

welcome welcome! ya know, it's funny but i actually hear that a lot, people who are more girl-group inclined still like infinite. to me, infinite's music transcends gender, not completely "uber-manly hep hawp" or "aegyo noona" music (not that there's anything wrong with gendered music - nor does that imply that girls/boys cant listen to one or another). but infinite's music is definitely more about the 80's/70's feel than a particularly gendered genre, and they're able to pull off different types of concepts because of that (whether light or dark. i'll never understand why ppl accuse infinite of doing the same "concepts" when they're virtually one of the only boy groups that have pulled off successfully both very cutesy and very dark concepts). we all know how international fans feel about cute or light concepts, but i know that some korean fans are yearning for a light, "refreshing" concept, as am I! i've always loved how refreshing i feel after songs like MIL and she's back. especially since it matches well with the season of spring/summer, and we all know how korea loves their seasonal music.
-
lool my opinion on the matter: as much as it's cool to make our fandom look nice, this is still a public forum that no one should really take seriously and ppl should just have fun with. there's really no need to prioritize "looking nice" to other ppl and censor ourselves, and we really shouldn't be policing each other. we're all different ppl with different habits/actions, and we shouldn't be telling each other what/what not to do, just because we're part of the same fandom. and there's really no need to victimize ourselves too much, a lot of girl groups get hate (poor apink :(...) at the end of the day, international netizen's opinions have nothing to do with how successful a group can be in korea (yay apink)

i don't think op was acting like a leader, she's saying that that's what woollim anti's call her (usually in a condescending manner). and than she jokingly said that pledge thing to make fun of what woollim anti's call her. and i don't think it's even possible to get kicked out of a thread unless u break forum rules... LMFAO the shiny magical ring... even tho woollim stans may have different biases, favorite songs, dances, etc, may all woollim stans be united under that shiny magical ring.

the pressed k-fans on pann are hilarious...so pressed over a little harmless group lmao im gonna be amused by how the tides turn when lovelyz does get popular. i still remember this one top comment on a pann article saying how the vocalists in infinite are average lmao. also ppl claiming that lovelyz' visuals are mediocre even though 1) visuals shouldn't even be a top priority and 2) certain members are already relatively popular for a nugu group because of their visuals or that lovelyz cant sing uh plz research before u say that bs

may i ask where these charts are? lol sorry i cant seem to find the ones u guys are talking about that infinite is in...
