Too Cool For School's Escalator Mascara is pretty great! I used it for the first time today and it might just be my new favorite. http://www.sephora.com/dinoplatz-escalator-mascara-P399204?skuId=1733070

Honestly I'd say go to your local Sephora and get color IQ'd there and they'll find a foundation shade for you and I'm sure if you explain your concerns they'll find one just for you! My holy grail foundation is the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Liquid Foundation (it was what I was matched to that happens to be a perfect match and lasts extremely well on my skin.) Definitely recommend trying a liquid foundation and a beautyblender for a beginner to be honest. I find beautyblender's don't become streaky like brushes can and that they absorb a little excess product so it doesn't look super heavy. ALSO like Ali said primer, powder, and setting spray are key to making your makeup really last throughout the day. I love Benefits Porefessional Primer, Baremineral's Perfecting Veil powder, and I love Urban Decay's All Nighter setting spray and MAC's Fix+. Good luck! We're all here to help you

Honestly I can't pick a bias. During the predebut era while we were waiting it was Lisa but now that they've debuted I can't pick. I love Jisoo with her cute lisp and awkward dancing. Rose is soooo beautiful and her voice is amazing. Lisa is just straight up badass and Jennie is an all rounder. So hard to pick.

Can I just say how much it means to me that they debuted? Like I've been waiting since middle school and now I'm going to be a senior in high school. This summer has been wild for me and this really was a nice surprise. ALSO THEY LEFT ME BALDT. I LOVE BEIN DEAD.

Okay so I got a few more things btw so I'll do a little review thing again. Glossier Balm Dot Com: I really like the feeling of this on the lips, super hydrating and it really leaves my lips feeling soft. Definitely great for an overnight lip balm as well. I bought this in the plain, non flavored/non tinted form but the packaging is still super cute. 5/5 Glossier Boy Brow: I thought I wouldn't like this because I do tend to do "instagram brows" but I really really like this. I bought it in the shade black and it doesn't read as pitch black which is nice. The wand is really small which is great if you want to be super precise as well. 4/5 Limecrime Venus Palette 1: This was a gift from a friend of mine who does youtube videos and she actually has stuff sent to her from them but she bought me this with her own money. I love it. It's so pretty and the shades are really pigmented even on a darker skin tone like mine I can still see the shades which is nice. The packaging is very aesthetically pleasing. I know most people are hesitant to order limecrime products but you can order through Amazon if that makes you nervous! 5/5 Limecrime Venus Palette 2: I bought this one with my own money the day after I got the first one but I bought the bundle so I could give a palette to one of my other friends for a late bday gift. I think these shades are deeper and a little more 90s-ish. I also think the color Fly looks different in the pan than on the skin. It looks kind of green when in the pan it looks kind of like a shimmery off white/light yellow. I used Fly with the color Pigeon which seems to be a dual chrome color and got a few compliments on my eyeshadow. So I do like this one but just a little less than the first one. 3.7/5

I think the reason Nikkie kind of irks me is the constant "yassss, slay, snatch" and that's why I don't watch a lot of youtubers in the same clique (Manny, Jeffree, Jaclyn, etc). She's very talented for sure but I can't sit through her videos without cringing a bit.

I have it! I like it but it's not super matte tbh. I also have their Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer and I like it better. My shade is a little too red in the matte one. The coverage is good. It doesn't wear super well though, by the 5 hour mark it starts to look kind of off. I like aspects of it but I don't think I'd recommend it/

So today my Glossier products came in and here are my thoughts on them! Glossier is a brand that really focuses on good skin as opposed to makeup so a lot of their stuff is very lightweight and natural. The Perfecting Skin Tint - I bought this in the shade rich! It is quite limited in shade range but it's so sheer so really anyone can make a shade similar to their skin tone work. I think it's super lightweight and sheer but it still looks really nice. Definitely good for those who want to go for a super natural look skin wise. It actually lets flaws show through which could be a con for some but it was really nice to see for me. It evened out my skin tone but I could still see dark spots even after lightly color correcting. Wore really nicely through out the day. This product would be good for those who don't really need or want to wear a full coverage foundation. 4.5/5 Stretch Concealer - I also bought this in the shade rich. I think it's a very moisturizing concealer. It definitely didn't look thick and I used it on my dark spots after color correcting and the skin tint. Still didn't completely mask it but I really liked it. I actually think that the stretch concealer kind of wore off on one specific spot after about 5 hours because it definitely got a lot more prominent throughout the day but I'm not mad at it. I think it's definitely good for like running errands for sure. 3.5/55 Haloscope Highlighter - I bought this in the shade Topaz. This highlighter wore so beautifully. I didn't touch it up at all and I still looked really glowy after I got home. I love this highlighter. I applied it on my eyelids, cheeks, nose, chin, and forehead. I loved it literally everywhere. I was worried about the oils in it ruining my makeup but it actually didn't. This is probably the best highlighter I've used. My only issue with it is that you don't get a ton of product. I wear highlight everyday but I'm okay with not having a ton because I will definitely repurchase it. 4.5/5 So overall I will be repurchasing all of these items and I will definitely try more from the brand! I had such a great time using them and I love the brand itself so I definitely really like them. Also here is what else I used in the order I used them today.

Super long video but I really like the points she brought up about why some people wear makeup and why it's not right to say that some people only wear makeup for the art of it and why some people use it to navigate society in a certain way. It's a really great video to watch if you have to the time.

Glossier's line is mostly skincare stuff and puts an emphasis on good skin first and then makeup so that might be why. I did buy some of their makeup though so I'll let you know if it's any good!
