Sorry but is there a OT13 thread in the groups section? I was thinking this should be in the Groups section instead of OTP. Or are we waiting for confirmation from YG that he has plans for the 13 to debut together?

I'm glad this is now settled because I'm going to camp at this thread since I like both units and it was so weird to have to go to both threads and read people's discussions on either 6 or 7 members all while being careful of mentioning other trainees/members. Now we can share info and discuss about both lineups freely and with the option of referencing the older posts and moments during the show which created the debut group.

Well well well, let's get the official confirmation from YG before we celebrate. Anyway, this is a smart idea, they can promote as 2 groups but under a same name(I think they're in the process of thinking of unit names for the two) and combine the fans for one whole group. I support the idea of debuting as OT13 before the fandoms get even more divided. Afterwards, they may have new songs as separate units. thanks for the support, I upped your post but apparently it was negged again. :c To be very fair, who were the ones who suddenly stopped wanting users to mention the other group in the thread? From what I backtracked one day after being inactive for a few days, it was a mere couple of users who went all rude to the usual posters who were here talking about other trainees. And then it became a new rule to never mention about the other trainees. The OP and more users then agreed because they didn't want to cause drama in the thread so understandably they made that decision. But that is not the way to decide on things? Shouldn't we wait for YG to clarify before creating another thread for "another group"? Or at least put up a vote for the users here to agree altogether? Hi! Yes I do understand that the rules in OH is to not discuss about other groups but the two lineups literally came from one show and are confirmed within a week of announcing each other. Doesn't it make sense to wait for YG to make any official announcements before deciding that they must be two unrelated groups? And if you're talking about the bolded part, we can also say the same that a new thread need not be created until YG confirms that they are two separate groups. Am I right? Until then, wouldn't they all be the new YG boygroup? Alright, first things first, no one is clinging to them as OT13. 98% of the thread supports the two lineups(and all the other trainees) as far as I can tell. We wouldn't randomly bring in the new lineup members or others without any topic of relevance. But that's impossible seeing that the only material we have right now is from one single source which is the Treasure Box show. And the show just ended 1-2 weeks ago with YG announcing the second lineup within 2 days of the final 7 being confirmed. There is also nothing wrong with threads moving faster or slower than others, never knew it's a competition and how a thread moves slow means the fans are "ditching the group". Anyway, I am almost positive that they are not entirely separate teams but still I will respect both threads usage for the most part. If YG clarifies that they are all as one group but works likes sub-units, I will presume the threads will either be merged or no longer made uncomfortable to mention people of the other team. Likewise, if they are entirely unrelated two groups, I will post in either threads for spamming and for the specific bunch of members respectively. I only have one turning point which is when I went from casually tuning to this show to be a full fledged fan of one trainee and he is Park Jeongwoo. When he sang Adele I was impressed. But I also wondered if he's best with ballads and not so good with the pop dance tracks that Kpop keeps churning out. Then he sang SHINee's View and then :D boom I became a nuna supporter of his. And then Treasure 7 happened and he slayed his lines so well I'm gobsmacked. What a vocal!! Thus when he's confirmed to be a member, I know even if I can't be a full on stan for the full group if their music is not to my liking, I will still support him as a singer. Thankfully I really like all the other trainees and will be keeping an eye for their debuts. <3

Some of you are slapping this thread with some hard truths. <33 Never understood why we aren't allowed to talk about the other trainees when they all came from the same show, and furthermore are confirmed to debut. Nobody is comparing them for drama and even if some users post those content, we should remove those users instead of refraining the others from posting about all the trainees just because some of the users here don't agree. It's extremely disheartening to see posts claiming Treasure or the new line up as "the other group" as if it's a taboo topic when it's only SOME users who doesn't like to talk about both groups with an open mind. P.S: I'm prepared to see my post get negged even while some of us agree

yeah but Team J is a group chock full of great dancers hahaha I agree we haven't seen much of his dancing to judge.

Both are absolutely solid. Yedam's voice is like silk, really smooth and clear while Jeongwoo's has a lot more strength, and has a rasp to it that's addictive. I personally love the two voices but I realized I have not heard a cover/vocal performance where I did not like how Jeongwoo's voice added to it. Yedam is more solid now but Jeongwoo in a way has more potential to be a more versatile singer..?

Ahhhhh Jihoon is in! We have a certified crackhead! <33333 I would love to see Yeongue tmr but someone said he does still look like a kid and I can see why YG will let him wait and mature first, just like with Jongseob and Junhyuk who were absolute beasts in their respective talents but due to their growth, YG can't debut them yet. Either way, Yeongue or Asahi will be good. Does anyone know/noticed how Asahi's dancing is like? Because this seems to be a dance focused team with most of YGTB dancers here.

I was just thinking of Asahi's visuals and vocal attributes might be helpful in the team but thought his chances were really slim since he had only a little bit of screentime and performances were mainly cut besides that one stage with Seokhwa. Hmm, well, anyway be it Yeongue or Asahi taking the last vocal slot, my favourite voice out of this team is still Mashiho's. :3 I like clear strong vocals, preferably of a higher tone that's why. I'm praying it will be Jihoon tomorrow, so far the lineup's perfect.

Wow that's so nice to be able to read good books consecutively. Or rather, books that you enjoy. I am going to start Crooked Kingdom soon but I've already forgotten the Six of Crows story... I understand. What I am getting is to never say never. We wouldn't know where all this is heading towards until everything is settled and we get the confirmed debut date or dates and concrete info from YG. Until then,maybe don't insist on the groups being two separate entities when they all came out from one same show is what I'm trying to say?

It doesn't work now but why do you think people still try? Because if they get the formula right, it'll be jackpot. And these boys are young, they have the time to polish the skills and find their colours as a group/artist. YG is a big company, and didn't he say he'll gamble on this new group? If one says he can debut two teams, why won't he be able to merge them or do a mix and match to get money from all sides?

Yes like what you said, if it's a new other group why don't they make it clearer but everything is still uploaded on Treasure box with the hashtag YGTB as well. Good catch with Yoonbin's sister not congratulating him for debut even till now. I feel that they're not settled yet. But I'm more inclined towards the idea of them all belonging under 'Treasure' but works like Anyway I hope YG can clarify asap because this guessing game is terrible for the fans and the boys. I'm definitely supporting both teams but I hate to see people ostracizing each other and drawing a very clear line when YG who is debuting all these people has not even made things super clear.

I hope they debut in early summer(June). Not sure if YG already has a mini ready for them like how Produce series always are ready to debut two months after group was made. I hope the songs are ready by now, and give the boys a few months to glue together. Unless YG throws a curve ball out of nowhere and says the final 7
