From some of the comments here I'm already dreading to watch them when I go off from work. Anyway, besides MNet skewing the grades for drama, I feel that some of these trainees might have been asked by their company to do a slightly bad job in order to have the edit as well... There's no way some of them can be that bad.

He honestly gives me the vibe of Daehwi(not because he's the centre this season) but the aegyo and with above average singing and dancing so I wouldn't be surprised if he kills the part.

Chill, this is a competition where you show your initiative and he tried because he has confidence in his dancing which he thinks he can help the hyungs who are struggling. Don't think there were anyone else as good as him a dancer in X Class judging by how Choi Youngjoon teacher kept complimenting him during practice. He is a kid who got all the confidence from the praise and wanted to show his initiative and also help the class. Nothing wrong, the issue was that the hyungs kept asking him and going around the same few steps at the beginning and he couldn't reject their calls for help. (I super relate to this trait so I get him) Yes he's probably the safest imo, Yohan is also almost in all top 3 as well. Will wait till the first round of evals to be over before I call them locks though, but they're almost there. Lemme find them for you... Hyunbin is tie at 18th with Wei Ziyue from Hongyi, and Dongpyo is 21st, together with Lee Jinhyuk and Tony. I see quite a few Yoonsung stans though, much stronger than the other Woolim boys in terms of visible fans. edit: I really hope so!! yes, I have a feeling he's the "not my pick but I don't mind him in" candidate this season... and because of the current screentime that he was given, he's gathered tons of hardcore stans already(from chinese and korean side that I'm seeing) I think him and Yohan will be rather safe for now but still not locks. Someone mentioned earlier that the locks will happen by ep 5 and I agree that we should see the top 7-8 locks by then.

From dcgall Seems like Wooseok has gotten closer to Yohan They deduced from this pic of Yohan with golden Wooseok at the back. For a moment, I was in disbelif because I can't register just how massive the height difference seemed like. Probably cos Wooseok also looks tall himself. Yohan is like tall TALL.

Just saw the rumoured evaluation teams and lord...Jungmo and Mingyu are in a NCT U song... Goodness. I hope they come out of the song unscathed and show a good performance though!

this is TOO ADORABLE. It's only been 2 years ago and he's lost all those weight and grown into such a tall kid. Always amazed at the growth of boys once they hit puberty. Jisung and Woojin both have height in their favour as well so it's really hard to say they were in a similar place as Suhwan. I think more often than not, MNet usually has a concept for the group and they will pick those who will suit the image they're looking for hence why I feel Suhwan might not be one of their first picks... But hey, I do hope you're right.

As much as it hurts to say this... Suhwan's not getting into this group because we all know Korea is the most visual centric country in the world. I'm also having high hopes that he will get signed on by a company to further train and debut as a singer in future after the program.

what a baby must protect. To be super fair, I thought he was just a baby visual with his introduction and the Starship hyung who dotes on him but he threw me off with his accuracy in dancing Jima(title track). He's honestly a stan attractor and I'm now fully rooting for him. I have not picked my full 11 for the group but so far, Byungchan and Seungwoo are <3 and should be included in the lineup for visuals and vocals. Plus they're pretty AND masculine at the same time which is rare for this season's candidates I guess currently I have: 1)Son Hyungjoon 2)Kim Yohan 3)Choi Byungchan 4)Han Seungwoo 5)Kim Wooseok 6)Nam Dohyun 7)Kim Gookheon Really curious to see if most of my list will continue to impress me. I hope they do!!! Fighting boys!

I'm finally getting on this train again. Every year I just wait till the auditions are over before watching My picks have always been 50% skills/charms, 30% personality and 20% visuals. So far I really find Hyungjun super endearing and I can't help but to root for him. Honestly was slightly glaring at the trainers for being so harsh on him when I watched the first ep. </3 Can't wait for Wooseok's audition, hope he does well. The subbed ep will come out tmr morning and I'll watch it the first thing I wake up lol
