Staff Descriptions
These descriptions define the expectations of each staff member's role. All staff members are expected to follow forum rules, and are encouraged to guide users and help to keep forum peace, regardless of their position or title. In addition to fulfilling their primary duties, staff members may go above and beyond their role and lend a hand in other projects around the forum.
Administrators
Administrators are in charge of the general community, functionality, and financial stability of OneHallyu. They act as the heads of the community and staff when it comes to decision making.- Creating and enforcing the guidelines of the community
- Financially supporting the website
- Representing the community in all functions
- Maintaining server and website availability
- Overseeing all aspects of the community
- Directing the activities of the staff team
Technical Administrators
Technical Administrators' role on staff is to provide technical support as they arise on the website. They are often working behind the scenes to:- Keeping the server functional and running
- Staying in contact with our hosts, databases, and provider
- Troubleshooting any issues/debugging errors
- Forum/Server maintenance
- Other server issues, migrations, and support
Head Moderator
The Head Moderator leads the moderating team in much of the work done behind the scenes. However, in addition to their leadership, they also moderate the forum by enforcing rules and assisting users where they may need help. Their main duties include:- Moderating all parts of the forums
- Assisting the community and users
- Issuing warnings and answering reports
- Helping to lead other parts of the staff
- Answering appeals
Moderators
Moderators are users who have proven their forum know-how and exercise sound decision-making. They enforcer the forum's rules and are in charge of:- Moderating all parts of the forums
- Assisting the community and users
- Issuing warnings and answering reports
- Helping to lead other parts of the staff
- Answering any questions and/or concerns brought up by the users
- Constantly working behind the scenes to help improve the forum experience
When it comes to the community, the Moderators are the first-line correspondence between Staff and the Users.

Junior Moderators
Junior Moderators have much of the same responsibilities and powers as Moderators; however, they will be ushered through a training period before being given full moderator status. Once they are properly acclimated to their new role and proven their aptitude to manage the forum, they will be promoted to full Moderator status. They are expected to:- Moderating all parts of the forum
- Assisting the community and users
- Issuing warnings and answering reports
- Assist the Moderators

Graphic Designers
Graphic Designers (GD/GFX) create a variety of designs and graphics for OneHallyu's use, whether on the forum or outside of it. This role includes:- Making graphic designs for the forum, threads, marketplace, banners, etc.
- Updating the layout and designs
- Creating graphics for promotional purposes or events
Events Team:
The Events Team's purpose is to create and host events within the forum to raise user morale and create an overall fun atmosphere. Their job includes:- Moderate live forum games
- Create events, games, giveaways, scavenger hunts, etc.
Awards Team:
The Awards Team assists in providing users with the badges that represent their favorite artists as well as create additional badges to add into our system. You will find them routinely working on:- Making awards
- Modifying awards
- Giving and/or removing awards
- Organizing awards through annual updates
OH! Press:
The OH! Press team work diligently to share exclusive and original content about Asian entertainment through interviews, event recaps, and general information concerning the entertainment industry. The press team ensure that users are constantly presented with new and interesting content via OH! Blog, as well as involve in many other prominent projects such as OH! Chart. Their duties include:- Maintaining OH! Blog with various contents on regular basis
- Maintaining OH! Chart
- Managing media relations including media contacts, social networks, interviews, events, and et cetera
- Press coverage for interviews, events, and et cetera
- Managing and planning new and upcoming projects for the community

Still, the thing that remains consistent through all this is that we have one other. The "O" in our logo is symbolic of the wholeness formed when each new beginning is founded upon another's end. When it all comes together, we see the perfectness in the middle that is only achieved by staying strong and united, regardless of beginning or end.
H: The beauty of the Hallyu movement is that we come together from all ends of the world to meet in the middle with a common interest. The Hallyu movement not only ushered in a new era of Asian Entertainment for all those interested, but also brought together like-minded individuals to celebrate and enthusiastically discuss this musical genre. Hallyu has since expanded outward to include all types of music from Asia, including Japanese, Chinese, and other Asian entertainment media. The "H" in our logo is symbolic of not only members from the four corners of the earth coming together at a centric point, but also from that center, us reaching out to the many branches of Asian entertainment.-

NotificationsSpoilerCan't see notifications/only a white bubble appears when clicking on the notification icon?
This is caused by a notification containing either a username or thread title with a special character. To fix this issue right click on the notification icon, and open it in a new tab. From there you can view all of your notifications. Once you have looked them over delete all of your notifications, and it will begin working again after that. Repeat above steps if this occurs again

How to Change a Username or Member TitleSpoilerUsername
Users are given a free name change every 60 days. To use your free name change go to "my settings", and click on "display name". From there you will be able to enter a new unused name that you wish to change your display name to.
If you have used your free name change, but still wish to change your name before the sixty days you will need to purchase the "change member's display name" from the member shop.
Member Title
If you wish to change your member title (the line above your DP), you can do so through your profile settings.

To sell an item back go to member shop, click on "my items". You will then need to click on the item you wish to sell back, and enter in the quantity to sell before clicking on "sell back".
How can I change the display order of my member shop items in the sidebar?
Marketplace items are displayed in the order of purchase. The first purchased item is in the bottom right with the newest in the top left. If you wish to reorder the items you will need to sell, and then buy them in the order you wish for them to display in.

How to donate won
You can donate won directly from a user's profile by clicking on the "donate" button in their profile header. When donating won enter the amount with no commas. For example a donation of fifty thousand won would be entered as "50000".
Tried to send won but never got a message/got an error message
Check if your won has gone down, because the won usually still sends in this case. This message is often received when the recipient's inbox is full, and the system is unable to generate the donation message.

Amnesty events are held by the admin, and allow a user to request 1-2 points be removed from their account.
When is the next amnesty event?
The event is held at the discretion of the admin. Whenever they choose to hold one it will be announced in the text box announcements, and ample time will be given for users to get their requests in.
