This is a cool idea and I know the staff has been thinking about it for a pretty long time, but if we're getting a kpop calendar is it safe to say that it'll be all inclusive with cpop ad jpop eventually as well? I mean we're an asian entertainment forum.

We need your help for building a master calendar for all things Asian Entertainment. We can add all the important and memorable days to the calendar so we can keep track and refer to it whenever we need. It will make it super easy to keep track of your favorite's birthday, debut anniversary, and many more important dates! A big shoutout to @Bekki who brought the idea up and please give thanks to her if this becomes a big thing!

AlphaGo wrapped up victory for Google in the DeepMind Challenge Match by winning its third straight game against Go champion Lee Se-dol yesterday, but the 33-year-old South Korean has got at least some level of revenge — he's just defeated AlphaGo, the AI program developed by Google's DeepMind unit, in the fourth game of a five-game match in Seoul.
AlphaGo is now 3-1 up in the series with a professional record, if you can call it that, of 9-1 including the 5-0 win against European champion Fan Hui last year. Lee's first win came after an engrossing game where AlphaGo played some baffling moves, prompting commentators to wonder whether they were mistakes or — as we've often seen this week — just unusual strategies that would come good in the end despite the inscrutable approach. (To humans, at least.)
According to tweets from DeepMind founder Demis Hassabis, however, this time AlphaGo really did make mistakes. The AI "thought it was doing well, but got confused on move 87," Hassabis said, later clarifying that it made a mistake on move 79 but only realized its error by 87. AlphaGo adjusts its playing style based on its evaluation of how the game is progressing.
Lee entered the post-game press conference to rapturous applause, remarking "I've never been congratulated so much just because I won one game!" Lee referred back to his post-match prediction that he would win the series 5-0 or 4-1, saying that this one win feels even more valuable after losing the first three games.
"Lee Se-dol is an incredible player and he was too strong for AlphaGo today," said Hassabis, adding that the defeat would help DeepMind test the limits of its AI. "For us this loss is very valuable. We're not sure what happened yet."

Hello,
There were a bunch of messy drama today that somewhat went out of hand. I'm a bit late to the situation, however, I think there are still a bunch of things that I want to address you all with.
Firstly, regarding the mess about the inappropriate comments regarding young/underage idols. The moderating team is finalizing the rule on that, and it will be up very soon, so we can address the comments and punish them accordingly. Sorry for the lateness in our part, we will be sure to try to take care of it soon. More details about it will be mentioned soon.
Secondly, for all the people making those comments. I'd assume that you write them`for the lulz`, and mean to rile up people, getting all those sweet attention. I'd like you to know that there are better ways for you to do your trolling, as freedom of speech also means you also have to take responsibility for the thing you say. Those are the things that will be traced back to you in the future; I can't tell how, but it's always a possibility. While you may think "haha i'm making so many people mad i'm so cool and edgy", please spare a thought for your own future and mind your own words, unless you want to appear on a list somewhere.
Thirdly, for all the people are raging at the moderating team, calling the mods all the names and insults, I'd like you to rethink about it. If you are unhappy with how things are, I think it's much better to come with us with constructive criticism, and actively help out with reporting, suggestions and everything else to help the team do the work better. I can't fathom how some would think calling the moderating team with all those insults would make anything better. All the mods volunteer for this, with all their good intention to help out to keep the forum well-maintained and organized, and what they earn back are anger and hatred from the users, how ironic is that. I can't believe that I actually saw someone mentioning the moderating team is supporting pedophilia... seriously I have no words for it. For all I know, if you want a better forum experience, you can do your simple part to help the moderating team holding the community up, and treat them like a human being. Please, just do it.

P/S: maybe someone wanna ask about the PM. No, we wouldn't look into all your PMs, it's a part of human privacy we should respect. But by all means, if you are being troubled/harassed through PM you can always report and add us in on your own accord, and we can tackle the problem from there.

New year, new OneHallyu! I'm here to bring you the newest change to OneHallyu in 2016. We are going to add a new type of award to our current system: Variety show awards! We have noticed the request from a number of users, and we are going to try making this work! Now you can have something to identify yourself as fan of some particular shows, and finding like-minded fans to spazz with!
This is still in experimental stage, so we are starting with adding no more than 2 badges for every batch of upload. The process will be similar to the request of OTP badge, you will have to request for it and getting supporters for the award. We are setting the number of supporters required to 10 as a start. We will review the requested ones and put the approved ones in a queue, after that we shall process the queue in order. The Award Team will hold the final rights to accept/reject a request.
Some basic guidelines for the variety show awards:
- Please use the official logo of the show as the badge.
- For now we are not idol-centric reality shows(like 2NE1 TV, for example). However, variety shows where idols are main cast can be accepted (for example Hello Baby)
- You can have different season for the shows you want to request. For example, Roommate I, Roommate II. Invincible Youth 2.. etc. If the logo doesn't change you can use the same pic.
There will be more rules added, as we test this out and figure out more details that we need to work on

- You will need 9 other people to request the award with you (this means that there should be 10 people overall).
- You can present a list naming the 10 individuals, however you will need at least 3 of the users listed to come to this thread and request it also.
- Those 3 users must hold onto that award, or it might eventually be removed from the system.

It depends on what adblcoker you used. normally on safari (idk but i assume you are using mac), on the top bar Safari->Preferences,go to the Extensions tab, there's a box for you to 'Click to see the preferences'
Also you can right click on the icon of the adblocker (should be somewhere near the address bar, there should be a button for settings in the menu as well)

Many of you may have encountered a glitch, which left you stranded in another user's account, unable to log out.
Firstly, if you used the other account to cause troubles, we know. So if you steal won from others, pay it back. If you unban yourself from thread, go own up yourself. I do have a log of all that happened, and I'm able to trace you out and ban you. Especially the ones abusing the mod power. I know.
Secondly, if you were the victim, and no one owned up causing trouble with your account, do inform me. I can help you find the perpetrator.
Thirdly, if you are still stuck, try clearing your browser cache/cookies should help. If you have problems with it, do inform me. I will do my best to help.
Lastly, it's a internal site error, so nothing like stolen passwords happen. Rest assured about that.
