  2. A couple of days ago I received an email, which reminded me to extend the forum license for the next year. That's when it finally hit me, that OneHallyu's 3rd anniversary was going to come very, very soon. I have never thought to myself that I would stay with this community for this long, and I could never have dreamed of how far this small community has grown throughout the years. Throughout the years, this site has been a big part of my life, and I'm really grateful for all the experiences I got from it. There have been ups and downs, a lot of pressure, stress, and frustration. But from OH, I have learned a lot of new things, had the opportunity to try many things I could only dream of, and met/befriended so many cool and interesting friends all over the world. It is just a simple fact that the community is only as good as its members, and I have to thank all of you for being here, contributing to this awesome forum. Thank you all for your support, and thank you all for making OneHallyu what it is today. Here we are today, celebrating the 3rd anniversary of OneHallyu. I hope we will continue to grow stronger and stronger, for the many more years to come. I also hope everyone can take a chance and show some love and appreciation for people who have made your forum life interesting and enjoyable: that dedicated poster who is always the first to post the updates; your awesome friend who has made your online life much more interesting; or that helpful staff who tries their best to assist you with that silly request!! Thank you all, for being here, for being a part of this community! Happy Birthday OneHallyu! With love, -sad-
  3. Hi, It's been a week after the April Fool's event, so I'm doing some cleaning up. The items would still be available just unusable. The groups are gone. The theme is still there if you guys wanna keep it. ok bye

  5. There are girls who have been gathered for their dreams. Shortest was a couple of months. Longest was training for 10 years. Not on the big stage but in the small practice room. 101 trainees who want to debut as a girl group. The 101 trainees who have gathered here are waiting for your lukewarm response. I want to support these girls’ dreams with all of you. But who am I? It’s ME! It’s me… OneHallyu’s Asian prince, Jang Geun Sad. You are all now the producers of 101 trainees from 50 different companies. How is it? Is your heart beating quickly already? Produce 1OH1, where users will become the producers. Now we will produce 101 trainees by ourselves and make a national girl group! But how are we going to produce 101 individuals you ask? Produce 101 does not have any judges! You are the judge! Yes you. You who are reading this post. It relies 100% on you. Unfortunately we can’t pick all 101, only 11 girls will represent OneHallyu’s ideal girl group. OK! IT’S SHOH!WTIME! Alright girls greet our prOH!ducers! Your browser does not support HTML5 Dear nation’s producers, please take care of us. I forgot to tell you about the badges! I’m going to tell you now so listen up! For a limited time a majority of badges have been changed to a selection of produce 101 trainees consisting of 37 trainees. Now you can all be fans for a select trainee of your choice! Just request the badge or perhaps you already have it! Aha! Also each user will be graded on their skill level! Users can purchase grade level stamps and send them to another user to display their level of skill, talent and on site charisma!! Grades range from A-F. Grade Stamps can be purchased in the WonHallyu store. Send out those grade levels, grab your fave girl’s badge and vote! This is… PRODUCE 1OH!1 Sincerely, Jang Geun Sad - Nations MC King of Spades - Floppy Old Dance Trainer Kahi xchocolatepandax - #BuyJustJeAoniTunes Lynt - nuguseyo voice coach that cries too much JimmyTutron - Shady Bae Yong Jun banhbao - Everybody loves Cheetah Badge List

  8. We need your help for building a master calendar for all things Asian Entertainment. We can add all the important and memorable days to the calendar so we can keep track and refer to it whenever we need. It will make it super easy to keep track of your favorite's birthday, debut anniversary, and many more important dates! A big shoutout to @Bekki who brought the idea up and please give thanks to her if this becomes a big thing! Of course we can't be aware of all the important dates, so I'm asking you all to help submit the important dates to the calendar and it shall be populated from your submissions! FOR THE MOMENT WE ARE ONLY ACCEPTING BIRTHDAYS + DEBUT ANNIVERSARIES! Please post in this thread with the following form, and I will get going and add to it accordingly! Thanks a lot! Username: [username] Event : [Anniversary, Debut] Date: [Date] Event Description: [Description] Repeat(yes/no): [yearly, no] P/S: Please state the month like April/March clearly, so we don't get confused with the date format ddmmyy or mmddy Let's build something great y'all! - sad -
  9. Go is much more complicated lol, that's why it's a big leap for the future of AI man. This dude is like one of the two best players in the worlds and the AI beat him handily 3-0 before this OTL
  10. Copied from this http://www.theverge.com/2016/3/13/11184328/alphago-deepmind-go-match-4-result AlphaGo wrapped up victory for Google in the DeepMind Challenge Match by winning its third straight game against Go champion Lee Se-dol yesterday, but the 33-year-old South Korean has got at least some level of revenge — he's just defeated AlphaGo, the AI program developed by Google's DeepMind unit, in the fourth game of a five-game match in Seoul. AlphaGo is now 3-1 up in the series with a professional record, if you can call it that, of 9-1 including the 5-0 win against European champion Fan Hui last year. Lee's first win came after an engrossing game where AlphaGo played some baffling moves, prompting commentators to wonder whether they were mistakes or — as we've often seen this week — just unusual strategies that would come good in the end despite the inscrutable approach. (To humans, at least.) According to tweets from DeepMind founder Demis Hassabis, however, this time AlphaGo really did make mistakes. The AI "thought it was doing well, but got confused on move 87," Hassabis said, later clarifying that it made a mistake on move 79 but only realized its error by 87. AlphaGo adjusts its playing style based on its evaluation of how the game is progressing. Lee entered the post-game press conference to rapturous applause, remarking "I've never been congratulated so much just because I won one game!" Lee referred back to his post-match prediction that he would win the series 5-0 or 4-1, saying that this one win feels even more valuable after losing the first three games. "Lee Se-dol is an incredible player and he was too strong for AlphaGo today," said Hassabis, adding that the defeat would help DeepMind test the limits of its AI. "For us this loss is very valuable. We're not sure what happened yet." READ MORE: WHY GOOGLE'S GO WIN IS SUCH A BIG DEAL DeepMind's AlphaGo program has beaten 18-time world champion Lee three times so far with its advanced system based on deep neural networks and machine learning. The series is the first time a computer program has taken on a professional 9-dan player of Go, the ancient Chinese board game long considered impossible for computers to play at a world-class level due to the high level of intuition required to master its intricate strategies. Lee was competing for a $1 million prize put up by Google, but DeepMind's victory means the sum will be donated to charity. Yay human strikes back we still have hopes against the upcoming A.I.pocalypse
  11. Hi! Just a reminder that you shouldn't share links to unlicensed drama sites! I know you guys love to share, and I have no control over what you wanna share with each other in private, but please do not post links from those websites here in public threads. It's technically illegal! This is on the same note with links to illegal downloads, and I would advise you against doing so. Do let the moderators know if you see any, and we can help doing the clean up!
