  1. Wow... DO has such ridiculous charisma on stage. Usually, he doesn't talk much, but when he gets on stage, he just becomes the ultimate performer, so confident and badass. He's a true professional, and HE'S ONLY 21. DO is going to take over the world one day.
  2. That's possible. I just remember seeing an EXO interview (I think it was the Naver one) where they asked the group who cared the least about fashion, and they all pointed at DO. And then DO said something like, "Yes, it's true. I think you should be able to look cool no matter what you're wearing" or something like that.
  3. One thing I love about Kyungsoo is that he doesn't really care at all about fashion. That's very rare for celebrities. It just goes to show how un-superficial he is.
  4. I feel optimistic about this, because I feel that if SM were to put a 3rd EXO member into acting, it would be Xiumin. Can you think of any other Korean member SM would put ahead of Xiumin for the 3rd actor? I can't. Xiumin did the Jin video and did a great job there. Also, Xiumin did really well with his acting scenes on 90 2014. Im Chang Jung and the MC didn't just give him the standard "you did well" praise, but said he had a variety of expressions and his acting was heavy. Even though the 90 2014 acting scenes were done for fun, Xiumin proved he could play funny, serious, cute, emotional, the whole range. I really think the 3rd EXO actor in Korea will be Xiumin, mark my words ;)
  5. I'm sick in bed today and am bored so I came up with a few reasons why I am a fan of Xiumin: 1. His strong, hardworking, and optimistic attitude inspires me. Even though he has been put in the background for so long and not given a chance to showcase his singing or dancing talent, he still keeps moving forward with perserverence, hard work, and positive attitude. For example, this Wolf video with Xiumin focus. Even though he's almost always in the back or edge of the formations in this video, he puts 110% effort into every single dance movement. I really respect his positive attitude and work ethic. 2. He seems like a genuinely nice person. I get this feeling from his interactions with Tao. Tao can be childish, naive, and annoying sometimes, and most of the members don't seem to have a lot of patience for Tao. Xiumin seems to be one of the only members that is consistently patient, kind and caring towards Tao like a big brother. This XiuTao video says it all... 3. He is feisty. Even though doesn't talk a lot, he can be really feisty and funny when he wants to be. Like when he was on Happy Camp and he requested a second try at the Ugly Meter, or when he trolled Luhan on Showtime by conspiring to make Luhan lose at the rock paper scissors game lol. 4. He doesn't go with the crowd and always thinks for himself. Like on Happy Camp when everyone raised their hand to work with Teacher He (the main host of the show) except him, and when he was asked why he didn't raise his hand, he said he wanted to work with Haitao (one of the show's cast members). And on Showtime, when they were playing that silence game (where the person that messed up would end up getting hit by everyone else), Xiumin just sat on the side and never joined in on hitting anyone. It's a combination of things I noticed over time that turned me into a Xiumin fan. I think Xiumin's personality really gives people a good impression and that is why he is so popular (in Korea at least).
  6. I just saw the news about Xiumin singing on Generation Show and my jaw just dropped. I think this is what Xiumin fans have been wanting to see since FOREVER. I really think this means SM will keep the subunits. Because SM wouldn't start to promote Xiumin as a singer if EXO was going to merge together. So I really think this means EXO M will stay separate and Xiumin will FINALLY get a chance to sing.
  7. I agree with everything you said, especially this. Baekhyun and DO are both underrated with their dancing. They could both easily be in the dance line if needed.
  8. I'm so happy DO is making his film debut with such a high quality project. Cart sounds like a realistic and meaningful movie about social problems and working people's struggles. I'm really glad he's doing this movie and not just a movie about some sappy love story or some boring high school plot.
  9. Just like during the hot summer months when they were doing concerts in China, and during the ending talk part, DO was one of the only members that kept his jacket on when the other members were sweating really hard and had taken their jackets off, lol.
  10. In 90 2014 ep 8, was the part with Suho putting Kyungsoo's hand on his chest and Kyungsoo saying "he's dead inside" in the video? I saw gifs of that scene and loled, but I didn't see it in the video.
  11. Thanks for the welcome! Yeah, I'm don't really post that much in general, I lurk a lot, but I'm happy to be here The thing that caught my attention about DO is that he seems very deep. Even Chanyeol has mentioned this before, that DO is deep. He usually doesn't say much, but when he does, It's usually very witty or meaningful. Like when he said he doesn't care about fashion, because a person should be able to look cool in whatever he wears. I loved that!
  12. I don't understand people's complaints about Kyungsoo's individual activities. He only started to get a few this year, and he actually is a really good actor that has gottena lot of praise from critics, which is rare for idols. So it's not like SM is trying to shove him down anyone's throat. Also, Kyungsoo is physically and mentally strong enough to handle the individual activities and the group schedule. Even though he filmed a drama and movie, he never missed any group performances as far as I know. He's super reliable.
  13. LMAO off at all the delusional Luhan stans who said "Luhan is sooo sick," and "But if Kris was sick why did he go do a movie a few weeks later?" Face it: from the same lawsuit reasons to using the same lawyer to getting cast in Chinese projects, there is ZERO difference between Kris and Luhan. It's hilarious to watch the Luhan stans desperately twisting themselves in a pretzel writing long essays trying to backpedal and explain how Luhan was different. So entertaining.
  14. You bring up a lot of really good points. Personally, I think Xiumin really puts a lot of importance on being a respectful and upright person. Especially since he's the oldest, he probably feels some responsibility to set a good and mature example for the group. He is always humble, he never fights for attention or brags about himself, he always puts the group ahead of himself, at awards shows he always stands in the back and lets his dongsaengs say something. He is genuine and that's why I like him, but sometimes I wonder if SM mistakes his kind, big-brother personality as him not being passionate about anything. With Chanyeol, for example, you can tell how hungry he is to shine brighter than everyone else. Even with quiet members like D.O. or Luhan, I still sense that they have strong career ambitions and are willing to fight for what they want behind the scenes. Maybe SM feels the people who are willing to fight for it the most are the most passionate people, I don't know.
  15. no, I think SM is really irresponsible and dumb for forcing them to perform in that weather. I'm just saying that D.O.'s physical and mental toughness is no joke.
  16. I just realized that D.O. almost never gets sick. D.O. looks so cute, but health wise and personality wise, he's tough as nails. No matter how busy he is with EXO and his solo activities, he just chugs through it all like a boss
