Thank you! Just wondering, how many languages do you know?! I remember you translated something into Indonesian before. You can translate Korean. You have Japanese on your profile. I'm really curious to know

You are making total sense! DO is only 22 but he has such maturity and depth. If he didn't look so young, everyone would think he was in his 30s. He's not superficial at all, he doesn't care about clothes or shoes. He's careful with words, he's hard working, he is as scandal-free as an idol can get. He has a professional, genuine, and gentlemanly aura. Again, it's so hard to believe he's only 22! His aura is probably why he has so many fanboys. He has the type of personality where people just like and respect him as a person. You imagine he would be a great friend or brother.

I don't think he's always like that with non EXO. Remember how his costars in Cart and IOTL all praised him not only for his acting but also his cheerful personality? I think he was just fed up with having to reenact this, lol.

Great thread!! I wasn't really a fan of Kris or Luhan at the time, but after they left, it just hasn't been the same :( My favorite OT12 moment ever would be when they were crying on Showtime over the movie Miracle in Cell No 7, and were all dabbling their faces so as not to ruin their makeup

Uhh...any fanfic author? At first I sort of enjoyed this show, but now it's just extremely embarrassing. I feel bad that D.O., who has a real acting career, has to be involved in this shit. How can they force D.O. to do that cringeworthy "look at my eyes" scene? I feel so bad for him just thinking about it.
-
Agreed. SM would be completely stupid if they didn't let Sehun get into acting. He's got the visuals and the talent to go far in acting, if he gets proper training and support.
-
I don't feel bad for him. He's an adult, he should be responsible for his words and actions. He shouldn't have ripped Kris like that when Kris left. He shouldn't have engaged the trolls online. It was immature and now it's coming back to bite him in the ass. That's life. Hopefully he learns from it.

Sehun is definitely the breakout star in this. He'll do fine in acting, with or without a lisp.

This is totally random, but I just watched It's Okay That's Love (yes, I'm wayyyyy late and I didn't have any time to watch it before), and Kyungsoo was so freaking good in every scene! And I say that as a viewer, not a fan. Before I watched IOTL, I never commented on his acting, even when everyone was praising him. But now that I've seen it, I can't even think about his character now without feeling like crying. His acting was so good.

The Sooharem is real.

This was fun (and reaallllyyyyy hard too), thank you! Merry Christmas everyone! Looking forward to Kyungsoo's narration!

So excited!!!
-
Kyungsoo always sounds so intelligent and humble in his interviews. No wonder everyone who meets him has nothing but praise for him. He's only 21 but he has the maturity of someone 10 years older.

Really excited for DO (and ChenBaek too), but can EXO please do a song not about love once in a while? Love is like what every single EXO song is about...
-
??? That's so random. DO is one of the most natural idols in EXO.

DO KYUNGSOO'S ACTING REVIEW COMPILATION PART 2
kandi replied to Shinee Spazzer's topic in Celebrity News & Gossip
Awesome!! I really hope SM manages his career right...I want to see him grow as an actor. So far, the IOTL and Cart project choices were perfect. -
I can only speak for myself, but I am a fan of both DO and Xiumin, and that sort of thinking makes no sense to me. DO's acting career has nothing to do with Xiumin. The world is a big place, and there are plenty of opportunities to go around for everyone. I'd like to see Xiumin go into acting, but if he doesn't, I really wouldn't care either. At the end of the day, we don't know any of these guys, and they're not going to give us any of their money, so why waste time and energy worrying about their careers? I don't. As a fan, I just enjoy whatever they do and leave it at that.
-
I totally agree. I kind of understand why SM didn't make Xiumin a lead vocal (because there can't be 2 Koreans as main vocals in EXO M), but they should have at least made Xiumin a lead dancer, along with Lay. Yes, I agree.
-
That's what I meant, that M m err members all were in Luhan's shadow in a sense, and Xiumin was no different. I remember watching some of EXO M's performances in China, and the fans would be yelling "Luhan! Luhan! Luhan!" every second of the performance, including during the other member's solos.
-
I don't think Xiumin ever saw Luhan as a competitor either, but I think all of EXO M probably feels a little more free without Luhan. People can feel many things at once. I'm sure they miss Luhan a lot, but at the same time probably feel more free without him. There's nothing wrong with that. Luhan chose to do what was best for himself and his acting career by leaving the group. I don't think the rest of the group has to stay sad and depressed forever because Luhan left. And I think that Xiumin HAS earned his singing opportunity. I don't see it as "Luhan was better, the only reason Xiumin got a singing opportunity is because Luhan left." Luhan was never a better singer than Xiumin. Xiumin was the one who won SM's singing contest. Just because SM chose to promote Luhan as a main vocal from the beginning doesn't mean Luhan was actually better at singing. SM couldn't have 2 Koreans being main vocals for EXO M, that's why it had to be Chen and Luhan.
-
To be honest, I think he really is doing fine. He wasn't just close to Luhan, he also seems very close to Chen, Lay, and Baekhyun. And he seems to get along well with everyone else. So I don't think he's lonely at all. Plus, even though he's really sad to see his close friend leave, I think in a way he probably feels more free not having to be in Luhan's shadow all the time. When Luhan was around, it was Luhan Luhan Luhan all the time. Now Xiumin actually has a chance to sing, and I'm happy to see that.

I love this aspect of DO, and I honestly wish I could be more like that, not caring so much about other people's opinions. DO seems like the type of person that does things his way and doesn't care what others think. He decides who he wants to be friends with. He does what he wants to do and doesn't give a f what anyone else thinks. (I remember on Happy Camp when the host asked him something, like "Why do you do this?" and he replied, "I just want to." LOL.) He doesn't even really care what fans think. I think he probably cares the least about fan service in the group. And I love him for that I think DO is maybe the most confident and secure with himself in the group. With Chanyeol, for example, you can sense a sort of insecurity beneath all his talk. But DO is strong even though he's quiet.
