I had read at the beginning of November that Somi went on Law of the Jungle and that she teased her comeback there, by playing bits of it. It's what made us all think she was gonna have comeback early December, but now we're the 8th, the episode will air in 6 days, and no official teasing about her comeback has even begun. I don't know what to think of it. I hope her comeback didn't get pushed and that we'll not see anything of it on this episode as a result. Heck, we barely see her on that teaser.

I can't blame people feeling tired, I have been as well. This is the reason why I don't update as much, either here or on the fanbases. If stanning Somi is akin to stanning BlackPink, having just one comeback a year, and disappearing in the dungeon 8 months out of 12, then... yeah that's just not really interesting, and I don't blame anyone feeling the same. I trust that she's working on her music, probably, surely, but... When Chungha debuted, she was not as popular as Somi was, yet her company pushed her everywhere. Chungha was doing all the pictorials, photoshoots, variety appearances and festivals. Somi has barely been doing anything in comparison. There's a reason Chungha is so successful right now, she has also been extremely consistent, extremely hard-working and she never strayed away from the public eye for too long. She consistently had 2 comebacks a year (mini-albums one, not just single-albums, and also physical ones, mind you), and sometimes OSTs on top of that. She was everywhere, all the damn time. Her company pushed the merchandising to the next level, she has an official fandom name, an official (and I think even several?) lightsticks, and also season's greetings type of stuff? Somi has nothing. Not even one physical album. I just hope for Somi to have her comeback in January, as this is the month that Chungha pushed twice in order to rise and get her a win at long last, that strategy of releasing music during the dullest month of the year definitely paid off for Chungha. I hope that she'll adopt Chungha's strategy of two comebacks per year as well, it would be on track just like with Chungha (Chungha's debut was released on June 2017, and her very first comeback was on January 2018). Right now I'm just lacking the heart to update or even keep myself updated, because besides new pictures of Nuovo or Beanpole, there's not much anyway, and I'm growing tired of those. I think I really need Somi to push variety shows a little more, really. And make more festivals as well, idk. But what we have right now is... not that much. Is it because it's the calm before the storm? Well, I hope so.

I was so afraid of this being true. I wonder to what extent it is true, and what would have been the true ranking, and the extent of the manipulation going on behind closed doors. I'm so sad for my girls as well, because if this is confirmed, it means we'll never ever have a reunion in anyway whatsoever, their name would be forever tarnished and linked to this huge scandal. Even individually, I do wonder and fear for their careers being impacted by this scandal, the same way I*ZONE has been. Sigh.

Pretty sure Eunwoo did lip injections as well, on top of her nose. And her whole face shape kinda changed, and shrunk, she used to have much bigger wider cheeks. Minkyeung might be the only one who hasn't done anything as far as I can tell. I think Yaebin did something too, but I can't pinpoint what exactly. As for Gyeongwon, he whole face changed from P101 days, that much is obvious.

Sigh, to think I had my hopes up for this, but... nah.
