My last bit wasn't indeed directed at you at all. And I appreciate your answer, it puts things in perspective for sure, as I definitely lack background knowledge for sure. I just wished he'd have chosen another way to word it, but I appreciate the will to destroy that cliché as well, which he definitely does!

I mean, if the intent isn't to shame someone taking medication for mental illness, but shaming someone for being a drug addict, I'm still not sure those optics are THAT much better, when you have knowledge about how addiction works, and how it is an illness as well. Whichever it is, it still isn't a good look, and I'm sorry to be the one to burst that bubble, but yeah, those lyrics are problematic regardless, and leave a sour taste. But I guess people aren't ready for that conversation to happen yet without the need to enter into needless hostility territory.

Cause they sure as hell look ableist to me, dismissing mental issues and medication? Unless something got lost in translation here, that's... really not a good look. Pretty problematic, not gonna lie. Which is surprising considering I thought BTS were pretty progressive in that regard. The MV looks dope though, but it's difficult for me to want to praise a track that seems to take a dump on people medicating because of mental illnesses. That's how I interpret this anyway, maybe I'm wrong.

MOTHERFUCKING DESERVED!!! Oh My Girl is that group who deserved to hit BIG as soon as they released Closer. They constantly put up great songs, they're charming, talented, amazing, and i'm so proud and happy for all of their success. It was a long looooong time coming, and it was hard to see others achieving success while not being on their level at times, but we're there finally, Korea has gained taste, and I'm proud of them.

Yeah, the EDM tropical vibes threw me out for a loop here, but... it's a great song anyway? Like super catchy and perfect for warm weather and the Summer that is fast coming. I welcome it!

It's very very repetitive and wears me down a bit. I was ready to love it so much, cause the beat and instrumentals are so fire, and some parts of the verse/chorus are pretty great. What I'm left with is a song that never has a proper peak, leaves me with an unfinished taste in the mouth. The lyrics could have been better, surely there must have been other things to say than "Stay Tonight" 9000 times throughout the song. That lack of variety isn't helping at all. It's a good attempt though, make no mistake, and it might grow on me, but it's a bit disappointing compared to what the teasers made me expect. Gotta Go remains undefeated. The MV and choreo are absolutely stunning though. Oof, what a treat for the eyes this all is, we love!

Animal Crossing was my most-anticipated game of the year, I had pre-ordered it back in 2019 and had been patiently waiting for its release, and I have now played it for more than 430 hours already (thanks to the total lockdown my country is under because of Covid-19 lol), so lemme tell you that Somi being the one appointed to promote it in Korea is just making me so fucking happy ahah! Also thanks to Somi for delivering the I.O.I content we desperately crave, this mini-reunion warmed my heart so much!

I just liked the song enough at first listen. But I honestly have been replaying it a fucking lot now. This song grows the hell out of you, and it's so fucking GOOD! I know the structure is slightly similar to Lion, but both song are still vastly different enough to me. And I love the both of them. Honestly Lion and Oh My God are their best track to date, they just getting better and better with time, and I love them for it. (G)I-DLE released the lesbian Kpop anthem of 2020, and we're here for it!

Honestly Heechul is one of the least problematic male idol you can find, his personality is always praised by all female idols around him, they feel safe and trust him, even the ones who are usually very wary of male idols, so... I don't know, I'm just happy about this? The age thing is a thing, but Momo is definitely an adult. Damn at Heechul being 36 but looking like 30 though, even his personality still feels very "young" much younger than his real age anyway, hence why I think they're a good match regardless of age.
