Gathering info from Stage/Twitter: That dude (nicknamed "Big Fish" according to this weibo) is a "fan", apparently. Maomao got caught with said fan a few days after WuZhe got demoted. The reason the person posted that pic up there is because something Maomao said pissed them off during her birthday show. They then warned other members (SII: Guanhui, CC, Luoluo, Zhao Ye, Momo, Jiang Yun, Sisi, & Danni. NII: Tete, Yunzi, Lu Ting, Kiku, Jiaai, Xiaoyu, Meng Yue, Jiaying, Yitong, & Luo Lan) to be careful and that the long absent big fish is back to ruin the members. First victim was Maomao. Fans are speculating + giving Maomao words of encouragement as far as I know.

So basically she got demoted because she talked to fans? Holy shit. Not really surprised at Nanashi being captain, I do think it'll be interesting having her. I'm more surprised at Lucy being captain though holy shit, I was thinking Xu Han, but Lucy is my oshi so I can't wait to see how she'll do. EDIT: Subcaptains have also been announced: Huang Tingting for NII & Wu Yanwen for HII.

She left due to antis, I think? All I know was that she was hated on for no reason. I've been seeing pics lately on Weibo, but there's going to a second season of SNHello soon. Looks like 3rd gens will be in it, so we'll get to see some HII members hopefully.

Was there ever a reason she left? Her and Tang Min's leave still remains a mystery to me. Yuxi also updates her weibo from time to time, but that's all I know so far.

IT'S SUCH A PERFECT ERA JFC. I'm just now getting into 90's-era jpop as well ever since listening to Akina's "Kisei ~Never Forget~" single as well as watching 90's dramas (Shomuni especially). I did! It was really nice, I need to dl the single.
