  1. Thank you! I can't get over the '88 line duet. I just have to stop everything I'm doing to listen.
  2. Yes, the picture is from Sam Concepcion's Instagram. It's from an advance birthday party at Solaire. Different people who attended are starting to post pictures on Tweeter and Instagram. I wonder who threw the party. Also, yes, she looks stunning. 2neBang: Yes, you're right. And I've always wondered if Philippines is a place she uses to meet her boyfriend at ease.
  3. Throwback Thursday, since I'm feeling a little nostalgic now that we're not gonna have B-day pictures of Chaera this 12th. I think she's doing an impression of her new (then) make-up artist.
  4. There's this appreciation thread on Minzy performing with Epik High: http://onehallyu.com/index.php?/topic/115044-appreciation-i-didnt-know-minzy-could-sing/ The title says it all "I didn't know Minzy could sing". How is it possible that almost no one outside the fandom/YG stans knows she's an excellent singer (smh)? I'm no SM stan, but I do know who can and who can't sing there. I don't know whether to cry or celebrate. YG, I'm seriously side eyeing you. At least now more people will aknowledge her singing. #JusticeForMinzy #MinzySolo2015
  5. I'm sure it must be the (many) usual 2ne1 haters / attention seekers / other GG's pressed fans who constantly post threads here on OH only to bash anything 2ne1-related. I don't even read them. Where do the find the time? Get a life.
  6. This is a recurring issue. And sometimes can totally ruin the mood of this thread. I don't understand why would someone neg you for posting something about one of the members. This IS 2ne1's thread after all. If you don't like something, just say it, post "I don't like her outfit today", or "those shoes should be burnt", etc., we are fans, not minions. We ALL wear unflattering clothes sometimes or have a bad hair day. If you don't like CL going to the US because you think she's ditching the other girls, just go to the bashing thread or to wherever people post similar opinions. She hasn't even debuted and I'm already happy after hearing what Bekuh Boom could do for her album (and CL is not my bias). Sue and other members are very kind to update us all of us with just enough time or no knowledge to do it. And others, like Bianca, make wonderful gifs or post beautiful pictures. I'm grateful to them, and their spazzing always makes me smile
  7. I can't stand whiners... I guess I'd better stop complaining then

  8. It seems no one has posted GyulHam's duet for Karasia, Goodbye Days by Yui. Here is the link (sorry I don't know how to embed a YT video) GyulHam make a wonderful duo, I love Hello Goodbye. I hope we can get better fan recordings for the girls' duets/solos this upcoming round of concerts.
  9. You and I both. But you forgot about the worst of the worst: a power outage.
  10. I can't stand whiners... I guess I'd better stop complaining

  11. I guess there is at least one friendship, Park Min Woo. I remember seeing him on the YG family concert in Seoul, and I saw him on last episode hugging a Poong Poong doll in one of the few moments they showed him. I immediately thought of Bom and her not being there, damn. But I think that is kind of a way to show her his support. I hope they still keep in touch.
  12. I don't usually post here, but I love to follow this thread because it has such a nice atmosphere most of the time, and it's super up to date. Now, with this current mess and the fragmented fandom, I just wanted to share with you a couple of thoughts on those blaming Bom or CL, and the group's future. First, as someone pointed out before, the only one to blame here is Segye Ilbo and whoever is/was pulling the strings. About Bom. As someone dealing with mental health issues myself, being exposed the way they did with her is a terribly painful experience to deal with. The worst is that the pain and humilliation goes on and on as people drag you through the mud out of ignorance, fear and to further their own petty agenda (in my case, my ex husband trying to gain custody of our daughter). They would look at you as if whatever comes from your mouth is nonsense, and it's painful to listen or repeat your story over and over. I completely understand her if she doesn't ever want to talk about it. I repeat, this is not Bom's fault, it's whoever's was behind Segye Ilbo's news story. About CL. She's not even my bias, but I'd love for her to make it in America. I'm all for women's power, and women and firsts. So I'll be more than happy if she becomes the first Asian female artist to succeed in such market. I'm rooting for you CL, "let them haters sit and stare". And I'm also really thankful for whatever part she took in gifting us such wonderful album as Crush, although I'm a little pissed 2ne1 didn't come to South America on their tour. Again, none of this mess is CL's fault, it's whoever's was behind Segye Ilbo's news story. We should be like T-ara fans or Wonder Girls fans, and support them no matter what, if only because of what they already did for us. I'm grateful to them, they gave me joy and laughter when I most needed it. I do feel robbed, and I'm very upset that I won't see them perform at the MAMAs, but I'll patiently wait for their comeback next year, on 2016 or never (no one knows what the future holds). I just hope there is no tension among the girls and that they stand by each other the rest of their lives. As someone else said, let's flood their social media with positive messages and support them through their solo endeavors. I had enough with the petty and immature fans, I'm not here for that. And to end on a lighter note, if it's about exceptional women, I've just read about Fe del Mundo, a Filipina MD, who was the first woman to be admitted to Harvard Medical School in 1936 (Harvard Medical School only started admitting women in 1945). This was an amazing woman, and I think her life should be made into movie or a mini series. Now, here's my dream, Dara would be perfect for the role, she speaks Tagalog and enough English and she can portray her during most of her life. It could be a Filipino-Korean-etc. production. She and Ku Hye Sun could be executive producers, YG could put some money, and Dara could get the remaining funding through her connections in Philippines. Ku Hye Sun should also direct it (and maybe write the OST). Fellow Filipino BJs, what do you think?
  13. Yes, collaborations are the best, but overall they have become a smaller part of the shows, and less interesting. It's more of a long version of a music show. Kara is one of the few grous that takes a risk and puts a different stage/remix. Also, wasn't it the SBS gayo the one with the "drunken" cameramen last year? It was awful, the worst camerawork ever, focusing on the wrong member or on nothing, moving the camera too fast, too late... even SNSD and GD complained about it on Tweeter.
  14. Don't lose hope. I believe that's a preliminary list. 2ne1 is in there and YG officially said that because of her scandal, Bom's doing some reflection and they can't perform without her, which rules out the gayos (still praying it won't be the case).
  15. Wow, that's a lot of money Is this from sales in Korea only? What about international sales? iTunes, for example.
  16. Hi everybody! Does anyone knows if someone subbed the second episode of Kara on Weekly Idol (140910)? It would be great if it's subbed, I wanna watch it and there's also a subbing team that is waiting for the English subs to sub it into Spanish and post it on YouTube.
  17. Lol! The same thing happened to me, but for me it was Gyuri and Nicole in Golden Bell a litlle more than a year ago. I watched everything Kara (even without subs), and listened to every music video I could find. Younji is the cutest thing ever, and very talented. Yesterday I visited SNSD OH thread and there was a discussion on the addition of another member, and how SNSD and Kara could not be compared. Honestly I felt a little mad, like Kara was a second rate group or the girls had a "different" relationship. First, they were disregarding the role of the agency in all this mess. In Kara's case, how DPS unfairly treated Nicole, how they led Kara to believe they would actually renew Nicole's contract so they sign theirs, how they lied/changed their mind about the new member being something temporary. Second, the addition of a new member was not something Kara3 nor the fans wanted when Nicole and Jiyoung left. I think eventually the girls would've come to terms with Jiyoung's idea of following her dreams (it seems to me she wanted to leave the idol's life for some time), and they would've gladly continued as Kara4 with Nicole. I don't know about SNSD, but after getting to know Youngji, I believe the ideal scenario would be to have Kara as a five-member group with Youngji. Is this even possible? I still dream that Nicole will someday reunite with Kara. ¡¡¡HAPPY BIRTHDAY NICOLE!!!
  18. I AM THE BEST VIDEO REACHED 99,998,368 VIEWS!!! I thought I was going to be late for the party, but it's still more than 1,000 views to go. Who's going to post the thread so we can spazz like there's no tomorrow? I hope it's a Blackjack and not some random fan taking advantage of this achievement. A word about Frolicker's hiatus. Her pictures were amazing, and I'm not even CL-biased. You'l be missed, train some fellow fan/photographer before you leave.
  19. You said it yourself. That's more a popularity contest. Don't take it seriously. I love Hyomin, but there's no way she's a better rapper than Myrio, Myrio was clear on Shimshimtapa (I'm not sure) last year, to be considered her rival, it has to be someone who writes her own stuff. And I would add, someone who can freestyle.
  20. She looks like one of Kara's dancers for the Mamma Mia promotions. They're from Yama & Hotchicks, which was also BEG's team for Abracadabra. Maybe these dancers are part of Y&H too. Anyway, I'm terribly face blind, but her face and dancing grabbed my attention when watching Kara performances.
  21. LOL!. What a sassy comeback, TOP must have been left speechless. And people says she's not funny . This shows how funny and witty she can be when she feels comfortable. She and Epik High must get along really well. It's so much fun when idols show a witty side, like Sooyoung, Gyuri and to some extent Hyuna, Hyorin, and Eunjung.
  22. Hi everybody! Old Blackjack here. My bias is Dara, but 2ne1 music greatly helped me cope with one of the thoughest periods in my life, so I will forever be a fan of OT4. I've decided to stop lurking to help with this project. Just PM me if you need translations into Spanish. I also think it would be helpful to get in touch with individual fansites. They could create and post a banner on their sites, and also contact other partner sites. For instance, if you get Oh Dara on board, they can put a banner and talk other countrie's fansites into doing the same, just like what they do very effectively with San Union projects. This sort of "sponsorship" would save time and give credibility to the project, as opposed to individually contacting each fansite in different languages. I tried to contact the Mexican fansite a couple of weeks ago, but I received no reply. I don't think they trusted me or believed what I said. Perhaps if someone else here, preferably from Mexico, could contact them with the new info, they could reply this time. I've visited the Mexican fan club Facebook page and it's very up to date, not to mention the large traffic to the page, and likes. They quickly uploaded the pictures of CL on her way to NY, and had 40 likes after only 1 hour of posting the pictures. Also, on the list of international fansites, you missed one for Brasil: 2ne1brasil (http://2ne1brasil.com.br/) I'll be buying 2 Crush albums, but I would really appreciate if someone could give me a list of websites to see which one offers the best deal, for instance, Yesasia doesn't have free international shipping to my country.
