Iirc GRRM teased about a prequel possibly including far eastern mythology. I'd love to see it, especially Asshai and the five forts but I doubt they will ever get around to it. There are so many major events in ASOIAF history that will get priority in prequels like the Doom of Valyria, Andal invasion, etc..

Is anyone else putting their hope in the Age of Heroes/Long Night prequel to fill in the gaps of the WW/CotF story? It's utterly disappointing how GoT wrapped up the WW storyline. It's probably naive af but I have more faith in the folks doing the prequel (Jane Goldman as showrunner) than those hacks D&D. Also, regarding leaks: There seems to be a leak that is possibly legit, as it mentioned Dany having messy hair. HBO released promo pics yesterday of just that.

Interesting. I may have written him off too early then. I remember seeing his name a lot when I was following GoT more closely a few years ago at the time when everyone and their mother was pretending to be ITK due to the leaks

He doesn't. This is just some random guy who, like a lot of other fans, jumped on those leaks several seasons ago. He somehow got an audience believing he has insider knowledge while all he really did was make predictions based on leaks, fantheories and precedent in the universe. It isn't hard to think up what will happen if you have a bit of an imagination. The problem with people like this is that when they inevitably turn out to be wrong about details it's ignored because they got the big picture (mostly) right, which as I said isn't particularly difficult with some imagination.

Just finished The Sopranos for the first time after putting off watching it for years. I knew it was held in high regard as one of the GOAT shows but wow, it still blew me away. It definitely is way up there. James Gandolfini's portrayal of Tony was just incredible...RIP legend I think i'll start The Wire soon, another show i've been putting off watching for years.

Don't be silly. YG doesn't have any other act that brings in even a quarter of BB's earnings. Also are you a new fan? Because lack of promo is definitely NOT a new thing for BB members' solos. They are already so popular that promotion is not very effective. They already reach a huge audience. It'd be nice to see YG go all out but it's not really necessary. The music will speak for itself.

Might be early days but the Knetz reaction seems tame. Maybe this will play out differently from what I expected. A lot of people already expect the worst from BB so they aren't as surprised by this. Still, I don't think TOP is going to get away unscathed. I have a gut feeling they will make an example of him and actually punish him..

It's not extra at all considering they damn near broke up the last time a member was caught smoking weed. The public won't be so forgiving a second time. That said it's probably a good thing TOP is pretty lowkey and enlisted atm so it has time to blow over

GD's situation was a little different since he was way more in the spotlight and arguably at the height of his popularity. TOP is the opposite rn so it might not be as a bad. The main problem is that GD will get dragged into this and there will be public pressure for a proper punishment after GD "got away with it".

Fuck sake TOP. If you're gonna use illegal substances, do it with someone trustworthy at least. This is gonna get nasty. You could say GD got away with it relatively unscathed, but I doubt that will be the case for TOP. Imo this will be the beginning of the end for BB as a group, but we'll see.

I just caught wind of this so I know next to nothing about the situation, but I think disappointment is the right word for this. Should've known better, TOP. Provided it's true, the ramifications will probably be huge. That said, the timing of this is highkey suspicious right before GD's comeback.
