I'm starting to become interested in 6Mix again. I hope they're not disappointing.

He'll eventually debut a new girl group but they'll get third-rate treatment. He's not prioritizing them now because he doesn't plan to prioritize them ever, even after debut. Team B and Winner are already the Big Bang and 2NE1 of the next generation. If Iljin Squad just happen to blow up and become very profitable by chance, then he'll start to pay more attention to them, maybe. His whole 'next nation's girl group' aspiration seems to be out the window now as he shifts his focus towards the guys. I doubt he'll try to compete with Red Velvet.

To put it in the simplest terms, Yunhyung has more star quality and more potential than Donghyuk. If YG is worth his salt as a talent scout, he'll see that. Yunhyung's contribution to the group is more useful being the group's "best" visual and aspiring actor, while Donghyuk doesn't really specialize in anything. Also, vocally, his tone contrasts better with the 2 J's. Donghyuk sounds similar to Jinhwan at times. There's 3 reasons.

Seeing this made me feel bad for Donghyuk. The fact that he will be kicked out of "YG Family" in a few months is unspeakably cruel. But that's the way it goes.

Junhoe is a powerhouse. He might not be a very dynamic vocalist yet (that might come with age and experience), but he has perfect pitch and his tone is something else. I actually agree that it sounds like he's improved again since WIN. The other 3 haven't noticeably improved from those performances. JH and DH still sound as weak and shrill as they did on WIN. YH sounds more stable than before, but that might just be the backing track. I think it's Jinhwan's stage presence that puts him above the other 2 because it's certainly not his vocals.

September: PSY + EH October: Lee Hi + BB November: AKMU (possibly, YG stated that they will come back in the Fall but who knows if that'll change) At the end of this year (November-December) one more new group will debut. If Big Bang doesn't come back this year, it just becomes even more likely. - It's good to see pics of the members but frustrating that we can't tell for sure if the whole group attended. I can see Jennie, Lalice, Miyeon(?) and presumably Chaeyoung with the red hair. I can't see Hana, Jisoo, Jinny or Eunbi. Some people are saying that they see Jinny and Jisoo but I don't see them.

Isn't it obvious why? In addition to being tired from presumably battling each other for Mix and Match, and simultaneously being on SMTM3 (B.I&Bobby), they've just reunited as "Team B" for the first time in a while and possibly the last time ever. It must've been a bittersweet feeling.

Yes, and once again fans are interpreting it the way they want to. "Preparing for debut" is what they've been doing since WIN, it can literally mean anything. In this case, they are "preparing for debut" by shooting Mix and Match which will be directly followed by their debut. I still think the MAMA debut is possible. If Mix and Match is over by then (probably will be if it starts in Sept and runs for 8-10 episodes), then they can debut in December with a digital single in time for MAMA.

Yup. I think Mix and Match is essentially going to be the new generation ver. of Big Bang's pre-debut documentary. When he went forward with the show, he definitely had the mind to drop one of the TB members. But since he still wants the group to have no less than 6 members, he had to bring in new trainees. Agreed!

I've suggested this before... Sort of like a new generation 1TYM with 3 rappers + Junhoe. Sounds great to me, but I don't know if YG would have the heart to cut Jinhwan. We're also not sure if any of the new contenders are rappers? I imagine there must be one though, just to keep B.I and Bobby on their toes and "add suspense" (even though we all know they're 100% safe). As much as I would like this, I'm almost positive we'll end up with a group that has more members than BB and Winner. Also, I'm not sure I agree that B.I and Bobby's ambitions have changed. I feel like B.I especially is still intent on being an idol and all-around entertainer, and if he ever had any delusions that he was anything but, then being on SMTM put things right back into perspective for him. He was out of his element and he knew it. After he I'm sure he went right back into the YG practice room with his buddies feeling more confident than ever about his choice of career lol.

There absolutely will be some sort of lineup change by the end of Mix and Match, but the fact that Team B is being promoted at AIA indicates to me that it won't be a drastic change. They'll also be selling DVDs of the YG Family concerts with them on it, so it would be unexpected for the final lineup to have a drastically different configuration. As far as I'm concerned, there are only 2 possible scenarios. A. Team B + 1 (7 members) or B. A 6-member lineup consisting of 5 Team B members and one of the 3

Probably just a test photoshoot and not for debut or whatever. But let's imagine that the rumors of some sort of reveal after Psy are true... YG's NONA9ON is launching in September, perhaps they will indeed endorse it and the photoshoot is for the clothing line? That would be an interesting way to reveal them and promote the girls along with something that they're already going to be promoting anyway.
