  1. Eunbi is short, frumpy and has a pudgy ahjumma face while the others are sexy. The others look like they're on their way to bully your faves while Eunbi looks like she's on her way to bake you a prune pie. Therefore, she doesn't fit and never will. Her voice is also basic and boring as shit, she should go sing lounge music for old people at the retirement home to help them sleep. Do you understand now?
  2. That's fine, but this group is not supposed to be tomboyish or typically YG. That's probably what YG meant when he said that Euna didn't fit the group's style. They're supposed to be girly and "pretty girls doing Hip-Hop" - something different for YG. They're also supposed to be young and Eunbi is raising the average age of the group + increasing the age gap.
  3. I highly doubt it. People are jumping to all sorts of conclusions because Jinhyung looked a little sad in the teaser. He probably looked sad because of Donghyuk's pity party, not because he performed badly.
  4. Lol, that "public is waiting for Chanwoo" statement was probably just YG being presumptuous. They think people are interested in him because he played Lee Minho's younger self on a drama. But in reality, nobody cares.
  5. To be honest I'm probably not gonna stan this group no matter what the lineup turns out to be. At least not right away. I guess I'm just in it for the show. Either way though, I need them to be good by my standards because I'm still going to be somewhat invested in them just for being a YG artist.
  6. For me it's the opposite. Hanna is starting to show potential - she just needs a little more time to get fit like the rest of the girls and adapt to their style. Whereas Eunbi still looks as matronly as she did on SSK 4(?) years ago. In real life I would find her adorable, but she just doesn't fit for this group.
  7. She's already starting to look like a girl group member though. And they won't be debuting for another 2 years, so she'll definitely be good to go by then.
  8. I kinda can't wait to hear Junhoe sing "Mercy" lol. Sounded like it might be good in the preview. I wonder why they insist on singing English songs though. If the pronunciation is off or they're concentrating too hard on enunciating the words instead of just singing naturally, it can make the performance sound worse.
  9. All this speculation is making me realize how much we still DON'T know about the format of the competition. I guess I was banking it being similar to WIN but who knows how's it's actually going to go down.
  10. You're assuming that those shots were all from the same event/scene which they might not be and probably aren't. Although if they were, I guess it would have to mean an early elimination for DH/YH. I don't think they'd all bawl like that over Chanwoo getting eliminated lol. But uh... They kinda JUST performed at the YG Family concert in Korea. So it would have to be a REALLY recent elimination.
  11. I don't think there will be any eliminations before the final round, or at the very least, not before voting. Although there was a surprise elimination, that would make for great TV not gonna lie lol. But don't you think it would be kinda questionable to ask the eliminated member back just to stand on stage at the press con after being harshly eliminated (because if someone was cut during the evaluations, surely it happened before then)?
  12. Has anyone considered the possibility that YG might change his mind about the number of members at some point during the competition? What if he cuts it back down to 6? Re-watching the second half of the episode with subs made me gain more respect for Jinhwan as a person. His speech at the end was mature, yet realistic and also eloquently stated. Despite his snappy initial introduction, he ended up handling it well (along with Bobby and Yunhyung) and actually came across as the oldest, wisest member.
  13. You both completely neglected the most important detail. In relation to YG's new girl group, I am just a fan. I have nothing to humble myself in front of like Junhoe does. I could never even imagine being such a blatant cunt to the person that's ready to hand me fame and success on a silver platter if I earn it by disrespecting the opportunity in front of a national audience. The idol training process is hard, but real artists who starve just for a little recognition have it harder. All these kids did was show up at an audition with their good looks and now they have teams dedicated to training their untalented asses, producing industry-standard music for them, feeding them (literally), giving them expensive clothes to wear and sending them on a world tour to perform in front of thousands along with the biggest acts in Korea. And the thing is, NONE OF THIS WAS PROMISED OR OWED TO THEM! Just the opposite, it's all extraneous since they weren't even supposed to have any of it after losing WIN. They're living in a bubble and they don't even appreciate all that's being done for them anymore. Pardon me for not pitying that. If YGE wants to spontaneously add new members to an unofficial, unestablished group, they fucking deserve to be able to do it without one of their charity cases copping an attitude and directing it towards the wrong people. No entitled brat's on-air tantrum is going to convince me otherwise. If the company had WRONGED them in some way, then fine. But it's not like they're slaves, they could've left anytime they wanted if it was that bad. So, they can wait to be divas until they've proven that they're a financial asset to the company. Then they'll have paid them back and will have some foundation to stand on with their complaints. But for now, they need to first realize that they're getting the world for almost nothing in return, then shut their traps and just prove that they deserve to be in this group over the new guys that are probably more talented than them.
  14. I give them until episode 3 to get their shit completely together. That's when the grace period for knee-jerk reactions ends. If I see any more hissyfits when Hongseok comes in, or any continued shots at the new members at any point after that, I'll drag them through the mud again. It was not the idea of a new member that I was opposed to. The reason I reacted negatively to Hanna is not because she was new and "threatening OT7", it's because I felt like she would lower the group's visual appeal. But later on, we got better pics of Jinny, Miyeon and Chaeyoung and now I feel more confident about the group's visuals. I would have been more than happy to accept a new member at that point if we had seen Jinny, Miyeon and Chaeyoung beforehand, or if it was someone other than Hanna. The comparison is way off-base anyway because I'm not the one being gifted with an opportunity for instant stardom by the most relevant music company in the country.
  15. Ok, and? Other trainee groups record demo songs as part of their preparation and have late member additions as well. Other trainee groups hear their impending debut announced only to get delayed and have lineup changes. The mistake that WIN/M&M viewers make is assuming that this type of suffering is not just part of the package of being a trainee because they don't always SEE it happen. The fans have special snowflake syndrome just like the trainees that they stan. The mantra of a trainee is that nothing is guaranteed. They're always aware that they can train for years and then suddenly get eliminated. The Team B members fully acknowledged that on WIN, so what changed since then? They got some fans, started to take their eventual debut for granted and quickly got high on themselves - that's what happened. Part of the blame can be put on YG, but the members are not without responsibility. The fact that they now feel comfortable enough to SHOW and vocalize their ungrateful attitudes on TV can be taken as an indicator of just how smug they've become. Then being a trainee is clearly not for you. Stay in school.
  16. That's exactly why they reacted the way they did. They had it in their heads that they're already good enough, that they're owed a debut without any new additions and that the new additions are somehow freeloaders who are ruining the group. That's rich considering that the one doing most of the smack talking is one of the members who owes EVERYTHING to B.I and Bobby. Speaking of B.I and Bobby, I can at least kinda understand if they had a problem with it at first. But all the continued bitching and crying on the part of June and Dong is something that warrants criticism, not pity and excuses.
  17. Boo hoo, glorified trainees are still trainees and they should've known better. It's their own fault for allowing themselves to get overconfident about their status. They aren't even that good as a 6-member group. How about YG sends these kids off to military duty to get whipped into shape and then have them come back and try this again. Maybe then they'll realize how much they don't have shit owed to them. Embarrassing.
  18. Nope. They weren't even supposed to be debuting after WIN. They were supposed to have disbanded. ALL of this is gravy and they should be feeling lucky just for the second opportunity. The audacity of these guys to act like they're an established group already is just... Do they not realize that they didn't even have a NAME until YG just recently assigned one to them? So ungrateful.
  19. Just saw this translated quote Junhoe: "What we think is that they're just riding on our work" Really, bitch boy? This is extremely off-putting. It's always annoying when "celebrities" (if you can even call them that at this point) become insufferable divas before they've even earned their stripes. They are literally trainees - they ain't shit yet. I'm glad YG did this show. They all need to be knocked back down to size and reminded that they ain't shit.
  20. Haha, is that what he said? Oh, give me a break. He just knows he's the weakest link and will probably get eliminated. What an obvious ploy for pity and votes. And in front of the new guys too, way to make them feel even more unwanted and guiltier about pursuing their dream. I hope everyone realizes how ridiculous this is and doesn't actually give him pity.
