Wow a whole lot has been going on but I recently saw ria update her instagram with a selca of her and mini so I really want to keep my hopes up that mini will be coming back.Esse left the group October 2014 just before the release of the Taiwanese debut album, citing "personal reasons." It was a bit of a last second thing, forcing the group to re-record some songs and edit Esse out of their previously-filmed debut MV. Esse has had a few roles in Japan as an actress/TV personality since then and seems to be avoiding Taiwan. That might be part of her contract dispute.
Mini stopped making any appearances with the group starting around April/May 2015. She explained away the first non-appearance as due to poor health (a lower back injury), but has only made one or two references to that in the months since, and the group's management has never made any official statement about why Mini stopped showing up. All signs point to the group proceeding as if Mini has left for good, including removing Mini from banners on their facebook and youtube pages, but neither Mini nor the group seem willing to give their final word to the fans, and Yumi has finally come out and claimed that neither she nor the other 4 girls know what Mini's status is either. Without getting into all the circumstantial evidence out there, in my opinion the most likely explanation is that Mini has a contract dispute with the Taiwanese management, and neither side is backing down.
Hijon, Yumi, Nue Nue, Mia and Ria remain in the group, and have re-done all their choreography for 5 dancers. They appear to be working on a new album together without Mini, but as usual their management isn't confirming any information, so that's still speculation.
