When I listen to Chinese music I feel like someone is assaulting me and trying to rob me from my ability to hear

Korean feels... chunky and clustered at times. I feel that Japanese goes well with music due to the syllabic structure of the language.

I feel like most Japanese groups sing in a very mechanical, unemotional manner as compared to their Korean counterparts (then again, I listen to indie more than kpop so...)

 

However, when they do put emotions in their songs, the flow of speech is much better and feels less clustered than Korean. Such is the case for groups like Spitz or singers like Yui

My fave songs this year were Ailee's OST for fated to love you, 2Bic's Marry you, K.Will's Day 1 and Strawberry Milk \o/
