Has the existing policy been changed? Can this new policy be reviewed/reversed? Why are multiple threads translating the same k-netizens' comments on the same article allowed to remain as separate threads? It was not so bad when it was just [NB], but nowadays there's so many blogs that hop onto the translation bandwagon. Plus what they translate are just k-netizens' comments, which may be of interest to some but not so interesting as to merit multiple threads clogging up the forum. Yes, sometimes there are minor differences/variations in the comments translated by the different translators, but the slight differences/variations can be explained by the fact that the translations are made/posted at different times (so the positioning of the top comments may vary somewhat), but that hardly justifies having separate threads. They should all just be merged so that (1) there's less clutter, and (2) anyone interested in the k-netz' comments can locate them with ease in just one thread.

Tempting ... but since Dortmund's the hot favourite (13/8 now to win The Europa League outright) whereas Liverpool's odds are 6/1, shouldn't it be "all your wons for a quarter of my wons" instead? Anyway, the first matchday is on April 7; fingers crossed, someone'll make a prediction thread one or two days before that (if no one does so, time permitting, I'll do it) so everyone can donate their wons to me place their bets on whether Dortmund or Liverpool will prevail.

Rafa's apparently going to be paid £4 million per year, plus a £2 m bonus if he manages to keep them up. There's apparently also a get-out clause should Newcastle fall down to the Championship. Newcastle's squad does has a few gems that can be polished (read: motivated), and is just 1 point from safety, with 10 more matches to go (one more than its relegation rivals). Rafa, for all his faults, knows how to organize his teams. I see this as a win-win situation... for this season at least. The problems will come next season (assuming they are still in the premier league then), when Rafa wants a 'sofa' and Mike Ashley decides instead to sell off every half-decent player in the team and buy Rafa a couple of lampshades. Rafa will then throw a strop and storm off, and things will go back to square one.

Because when we read the snide and shady comments translated in the OP, and then read the comments from OH users (which are moderate and generally wish the couple well), OH users seem much more mature and understanding. But the number of upvotes (coupled with the miniscule downvotes)! Do they know something we I-fans don't? Tell me about it :( I'm usually not that gullible, but I so wanted it to be real... OTL About the fanmeet, I'm becoming a nervous wreak just thinking about what might happen. Given that it's their first comeback since the tragedy, if there's a Q&A, there's bound to be a ton of questions asked about it. I just hope the fans/press (especially the press) don't go overboard, and concentrate on asking about their comeback rather than about the past. Read somewhere that it'll cost Man Utd a pretty penny to sack LVG now, but it'll be much cheaper to do so once it becomes mathematically impossible for the club to qualify for next year's Champions League. Even as a 'Pool fan, it stopped being funny some time ago, to see Man Utd in this state.

I was indeed prompted to make my thread after reading the other thread (as I made clear in my thread), but that doesn't make my thread about that other thread at all. As mentioned, the discussion sought in the two threads are about completely d8fferent matters altogether

May I know why my thread was locked? It wasn't a thread about another thread at all. The other thread was about how fans' attitude (towards the possibility of idols being sponsored) change depending on the idol's gender; my thread was to highlight the amount of dedication and time that some fans devote towards the idols they stan (and trying to make them think whether this is the best use of their time).

That info should be kept confidential, don't you think? Because now we all know who want to take sadface on a date by bringing him to their place...

My guess is Ozil's agent wants money for a new car, hence the Barca rumours, with a view to getting a new and improved deal for his client at Arsenal. And Sunderland 1 Man Utd 0 right now...
