  1. I beg to differ. Their lack of empathy toward their workers and their greediness are traits of psychopaths. "There is no way SM would have won against him in court" Um, SM hasn't won anything yet. Out of all the cases, they've never won ONCE. How many times do I have to emphasize that? And no, what I meant when I said you don't know the circumstances is that you're basing your conclusion on what you think of Yifan as a person when YOU DON'T KNOW THE CIRCUMSTANCES. It's like I'm talking to a brick wall. Continue being brainwashed by a media company that doesn't care about your idols or you, I guess?
  2. And how do you know the circumstances surrounding his departure? Again, he stuck it out even after trying to leave the first time. Something could have happened to push him to leave and in a situation where you're the one suffering, timing is not important. You're familiar but you didn't know 5 SM talents already filed a suit against SM? The people managing SM are stupid, and there's nothing they wouldn't do to make money. They evaded taxes, their former CEO was charged with embezzlement, etc. You have to admit the evidence against SM is stronger yet you persist in accusing Yifan and calling him names. You aren't exactly objective, are you? You'd rather believe a single person, who I may add, is loved by the group for being a good leader, left for his own profit as opposed to a company PROVEN to be fraudulent and abusive doing the same thing again.
  3. See? You're already talking about how bad his plan would have been if he chose another time. He would not have won either way and you know it. You don't even know the history of the company you're defending and the precedent in filing this case.... and you're so adamant WYF is in the wrong? Uhh.. okay. I'm not going to do your homework for you. If you want to argue about this topic, I suggest you actually study the cases instead of throwing accusations around?
  4. Oh they did? Didn't seem like it when it aired tbh. They tried hard to make the other guys look like victims. Can't say I blame them though, SM is a powerful company. Thank you! I like it here.
  5. Yeah, and it's JUST a coincidence that at least FIVE people have filed complaints (with three of them winning and another one settling)? Frivolous lawsuits are easily dismissed.Their cases had merit, which is why the judge ruled in their favor. Also, people's capacity for this situation differs. Some may want to stick it out because they think all the suffering is worth something, some may need the money, some need the security of having a job. He left at the best possible time he could have left. He was preparing for a lawsuit, which also could have been delayed by the tragedy. But again, it doesn't matter WHEN. You people would have found something to complain about anyway.
  6. Well this is cruel. How is he so hot? Thanks for the welcome. I hope to contribute in the future! So, I have a question for everyone. We know these movies are showing next year, but would you like Yifan to take on a project that would come out immediately? Like a drama or another song, for example. Or would you like him to lie low until next year?
  7. I do hope you don't make real life decisions based on this logic. First of all, if he did try to leave and they stopped him, how does that reflect negatively on Kris? It means he tried to work it out and gave SM another chance, hoping they were going to treat him better. But SM still treated him like shit which led to him making the decision to leave. If he really wanted to use EXO for fame, then your first statement that he tried to leave before would contradict that. Not to mention that he would have milked EXO's fame for all its worth (gone through with their tour, etc). But he didn't. People just don't leave at the peak of their career if there wasn't a huge reason behind it. And oh, these kids signed their contracts at young ages and yes, I bet they were promised tons of things. What I don't understand is how people like you can stomach defending a company that's been proven (in COURT!) to have no compassion for their workers. If people were to choose between a person who's shown nothing but kindness to people around him vs a company that treats their workers like machines... I don't even see the debate here.
  8. Exactly. Plus, Yifan paid his dues by helping EXO reach their peak and doing things that weren't in his job requirements (pacifying irate producers, for one). I don't understand people's logic tbh. So, if you've worked hard in a workplace and you've reached a great position.. you're not allowed to use your classifications and work experience (that YOU worked hard for, you didn't reach there without hard work) because you ~betrayed~ the company? Lolwhut
  9. I'd like to know these martyrs who'd claim they'd stay for the ~brotherhood~ lol. Seriously? I've made tons of friends on my previous jobs (who, thankfully, haven't turned on me despite me leaving! which i can't say about other people!) but I left those places without second thoughts when I knew I was being mistreated. They're so caught up on the image these boys are selling that they forget these people are actual HUMANS who have DREAMS and goals in life and that they have the right to leave a place when they know they deserve better. Why stay in an abusive professional relationship?
  10. Everyone who liked him and saw him as their duizhang (prior to him leaving) which basically means.. everyone. But I only liked them by their association with him. I liked Yixing and Chen the most though.
  11. Hello everyone. I'm Kat and.. well.. Yifan was the only Exo member I actually liked (although I liked the others because of their dynamic with him). I'm so glad things are working out for him. Ngl, the haters' tears are delicious rofl
  12. I love how he's making haters seethe while being the silent and classy party in this case. Nope, they are not traitors. It was SM that betrayed them and thus also betrayed SJ, Exo and their fans by not adhering to the agreement they had (treating their talents like humans, for one).
  13. Ooh, looks like my kind of place. The 'useless' statements will always make me laugh, but he's always had haters (most probably because they hate that the attention wasn't with their biases, oop). Will go to that thread then! Thanks.
  14. Oh, okay. I hope it's true. In other news, his song is slaying Chinese charts. So happy to see him succeeding. Has there been a post about that here yet?
  15. I can't read the article so I'm going by google translate here, but are they saying they have an actual source? I believe someone is talking about the film in the article? Interesting.
  16. I would love if this is true, but that's a sketchy source. I think it's better to wait for someone reputable to report it.
