So KCON is introducing a new segment called KCON Rookies, like a showcase. It's very likely Itzy will be in the lineup for either KCON NY or LA. GOT7, Day6, Twice and SKZ all went to KCON Japan for their first Kcons and then either went to the NY one or LA one. I'm thinking Itzy may be added to the NY lineup since SKZ was part of that one last yr and are likely to go to LA this yr instead.

Miroh is so amazing yall omg how do they keep doing this? I'm- ugh I love them so much, these boys are so talented. I like how all their title tracks have been so different but still so Stray Kids and just so very them and genuine. I don't know how to explain it but oof these boys. Aw man I'm bummed they didn't chart on the charts but I honestly think this time releasing the MV earlier maybe affected that? Considering the MV was trending so high on Naver and the group was trending as well I think they could have possibly at least charted on smaller charts. But try not to be so discouraged guys. Idk if it's because many expect them to do so much better being from JYP but I think JYP is doing a good job at releasing so much fan content but yeah definitely should work more on sending them to shows but I mean they're going on radio shows and Idol Room now so that's good a start for this era. I feel like people forget that bgs in general just don't chart that well. Someone compared them to 2PM charting decently in their earlier years and that had me side-eye because 2PM during the early yrs was when kpop as a whole was doing well digitally - bgs included, like bgs did so much better back then - and they started declining when kpop shifted and because of some personal things going on. Idk I just think Stray Kid's time will come when it comes. It's sad yes, but they're still in their first year and can only go higher. anyways off to listen to the album now

Long rant comment ahead I understand complaining about the lack of variety shows, but saying you're "bored shitless" from the lack of content when Itzy has been going to 5 music shows a week, has released a handful bts footage, backstage interviews/segments from shows, a performance video and two dance practices... and it's only been 3 weeks? Make it make sense, plz. I get they're from JYP but most rookies don't even get this much (limited music show appearances and no variety shows) and we're out here complaining or worst comparing them to other JYPdebuts when Twice didn't even go on variety shows till a month or so into their debut... and skz didn't get much either. It's tad annoying backtracking this thread to catch up with updates and there's always something about division 2 or how JYP isn't doing it like they did with Twice. The Division 2 criticisms are valid, but idky yall keep comparing Itzy's debut to Twice's when we're dealing with 2 different groups. And it's odd to me because as someone who has stanned all the JYP groups since WG, JYP approaches each debut different... they don't follow some specific formula, each group is handled differently and taken with a different approach. I know a lot of fans here are also Onces - I am too - but there are other ways to be successful, the Twice-way ain't the only one and to JYP's credit their approach with Itzy is working and working well. DD has maintained incredible longevity on the charts and the girls are gaining fans left and right.

They were talking about what kind of content they can do for future vlives and also reading fan suggestions and some of the ones they seemed interested in were: cooking show (Lia suggested Yuna do her famous scrambled eggs since she seems most interest in the cooking one lol), mukbang, dorm tour, pajama vlive?, mafia game, a vlive where they go to the beach or take a trip together. I think someone suggested a music corner one for Lia? She mentioned she listens to a lot of songs. Yuna was really excited about a makeup tutorial one, excited enough that everyone got embarrassed over her excitement lmao. ahh that was so much fun they were nervous initially but only for like a minute and were so talkative and engaging, just overall a comfortable and fun first vlive. We need more now~~

Slightly weird they picked a Monday with that time. And I only say that because that's a time that's great for almost all timezones (a rare moment for kpop ) had it been a weekend.

I found this interesting because it seems like by the time they filmed this Super Intern has already finished? or at least the winner has been crowned. I figured they filmed this recently tho since they're wearing the dance practice clothes, but wow Super Intern finishing soon then? thought they still had like 10 contestants

I also see nothing wrong with what he said, really. He's said these same words to all his groups and artists. It's a company motto if anything. And I think he's particularly more strict about this with the newer generation because he works less closely with them. With WG, 2PM, 2AM and Miss A he was heavily involved with almost all their debuts and comebacks, now he's less involved when it comes to these things so it's more of a "hey remember I'm still keeping an eye out for you" There's so much to drag JYP for, but I just don't think this is it? There's a reason JYP idols are always so highly praised for their good morals and characters by almost everyone in the industry.

mcountdown has no fixed mcs and usually has groups that debut/comeback fill in as mc's so I hope some members of Itzy can do that before this promo cycle ends I think Lia and Yuna especially have the potential to be great MCs if they ever get a fixed gig.
