Haha. We talk a lot and also post walls of text It's usually not this heavy on this thread. Sunggyu is a complex person and like every other human, he evolves. His core is still there but he gradually changes over time and I think it's amazing that we're allowed to witness his growth throughout the years. He said he only wanted to be in a rock band but now he's in an idol group and I believe he'd never trade it for anything in the world And yes, the reason why Sunggyu has so many casual fans is because of how relatable and friendly is is. That's what drew me in, too (aside from listening to Another Me). It just makes me sad when some people only look at the shallow sides and don't look deeply into his character and judge him badly because of one or two things. If you somehow get that in HD audio quality, I will literally cry for you.

Sunggyu has too great of a hold on me to let go of him, but Dongwoo is second on my bias list. He's just so sunshine-y and simply an amazing person. I love that he's always there for the members and that the members knows that he'll be there for him I'm just sad that because he sees himself as Infinite's pillar, he doesn't allow himself to show concern towards the members even though perceptive ones like Sungyeol can already tell Donggyu makes me want to transcend into the sky and slide down rainbows and just smile at everything nice The members have said that Myungsoo has a tendency to hit/slap himself when he's drunk We're too similar lol. Too much potato. That wasn't meant to be a hungry gyu, but if you want to see it like that, then go ahead Be afraid.

Sunggyu makes me happy and sad at the same time. His sincerity is what makes me love him but yeah, the things he says are heartbreaking. There's so much to him that he tried to hide. I'm very glad for his episode that gave me so much insight on his character and how he truly feels. I always rewatch it every now and then because it's things like this that makes me fall so much more deeper. He seems simple to understand, but he's actually quite complex. He's the type of person that you'd have to be perceptive and pay attention to the little details to truly notice and understand. And yeah. It is entertainment in some way. I have no doubt that if it was an American reality show though... we would see so much shit and I'm not sure if I would really want that. Their lives are to themselves and if they're not comfortable about showing everything, then that's up to them. LILYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY There's many perspectives to what can be seen and the only ones who will know the truth are the ones where there. But we can be sure about the other parts that's supported by evidence of what the members have said. I love it when the boys can just relax and do their own thing without having to worry about being an idol. It makes them feel like normal people and I love seeing them just do things that makes them feel themselves. Another Me was deemed a failure and became a running joke because of Weekly Idol, I think. Another Me got compared to the sales of Infinite H--Another Me sold about 60k and Fly High sold about 90k--and they just started teasing him with it. But even before that, there was a time (late 2012) where Myungsoo got drunk after hearing about a drama he was in being cancelled and Sunggyu went to see him. Myungsoo said that he feels better because at least Sunggyu failed, too. Sunggyu said that he felt hurt about that and that he didn't even know the exact charting for his own song but Myungsoo did; he would've let it go if Myungsoo stopped there but he didn't and Sunggyu said something hurtful back but they eventually solved it by the time the sun rose And now I believe that Sunggyu is truly over his "trauma" of his album not meeting up to expectations that when a fan said "your solo is not a failure!" he just laughed like "thanks?".

It was one big mess so I'll just keep it under spoilers. Personally, I think the editior of that film tried their best to dramatize each member the best they could whether they had a concern or not. You had one side that played support or didn't have much problems (e.g. Sungjong) and then you had the other side that had fears about the future and himself (Myungsoo). I've watched Grow about... 3 times? Since it came out and I personally never saw anything between Sunggyu and Dongwoo. From what I saw, they all tried to help Myungsoo whatever way they could but they also gave him space so that they wouldn't overwhelm him. Sunggyu was frustrated over his personal self-esteem. He had been told over and over again that Another Me had been a failure no matter how many times he tried to clarify and made himself feel better by saying that it was in no way a failure. He felt like he couldn't carry on singing 60 seconds because of personal feelings about the song. I believe that the worries that he had started seeping into his heart until he couldn't help but stigmatize 60 seconds as the song that was a failure. I think this is best said in his 4things show episode. And we have to remember that even if Grow is a documentary, they are still idols and have an image to maintain. The director had to cut a lot of fights and tension because it would affect how the public would see them. That's why Myungsoo's problem seemed so vague. They wouldn't go into details but just give you the overall feeling to it. Then you must know that that person is the best potato in the world

It really is unrealistic to think that for a group to be close, they can never fight and must always be stuck by each other's side like glue 24/7. None of us knows them irl so who are other people to judge whether their bonds seem fake or if one of the members would leave once contract ends? (Sorry, I'm a bit bitter about things that happened in the fandom last year). The boys are coworkers, friends, and their own form of a family. lol yeah. But I believe in Infinite and their ability to communicate with each other. Even after Sunggyu said Hoya had "actor disease", he told Hoya about it and he stopped. The members are very self-sufficient in this group. There's a little bit of everything for them all in this group whether it's for joking, teasing, playing around like kids, comfort, empathy/sympathy, help in singing/dancing, confidant, etc. I really love that. It's hard to see this in some of the other groups. I guess when you go through tough times together with the right people, it really makes the bond grow stronger. And Dongwoo's such a giant ball of sunshine. He never likes it when people around him fight; which is funny because I think he fought with Hoya once.

On the second episode Infinite guested on Weekly Idol, they took turns complaining about Sunggyu (I think it is that segment of the episode), Hoya said that Sunggyu told the staff to make him the center and Sunggyu outright denied it. Then on a later episode of Weekly Idol, Sunggyu brought it up again and tried to clarify that he never said that but then Dongwoo just shifted the atmosphere and ended the topic by saying "aigoo" or something like that in the middle of his complaining.

Getting the regular version would've been a little cheaper, but oh well. I'll most likely enjoy the songs on album regardless They either 1) just think it's funny and makes it for the sake of making it funny for themselves or 2) saying it to elicit a reaction. Either way, it's not a very sensitive thing to do. Beating a dead horse is no fun. There are plenty of other things they could've said or used to tease him without offending him in any way. Sunggyu's not gonna show that he's hurt unless he believes it really becomes an issue and twisted into a one-sided "truth" (like his album sales or the whole "make me the center" thing). When Sunggyu makes it a concern is when I truly believe 100% he is bothered by it and doesn't think it's funny at all.

It's not a big issue. It's just a matter of my conscience and me not having a job. So I'm using saved money. I would have bought the album eventually anyways. Eye jokes were never funny and never will be. The fact that people still make them to this day despite Sunggyu complaining about people always talking about the size of his eyes is bothersome mentally. I empathize with him because I used to get teased about my eyes, too. And I got offended when I was drawing writing on my notes during class once and the teacher told me to wake up. Sunggyu is a plethora of many things and one huge paradox. He's just so lovable because of it

I'm betting on the chance that they didn't want to put too much effort into photoshopping the photobook. If it turns out everything is, then I'm gonna cry on the inside I paid $40 for the LE when I shouldn't be spending money at all. I agree. I think that some people are so caught up on the images he puts on variety shows that they don't pay attention to the smaller details like this. He's confident, but he's also insecure. He's strong, but he also gets hurt.

That is perfect. I'm towards the end of the time zone. So for me, the MV will drop on the morning of the 18th. Hopefully they'll at least upload the MV on time. I'll actually wake up early for that one. I don't like how they hired a new (?) editing team for their photoshoots, too. I don't know what they're trying to do with the photoshopping on a well-known 6 year-old group. It's generally easier to just have a set of friends who like the same things you like to update you when they see it. Makes it easy and gives you things to talk about. I'm pretty disappointed with the photoshop. And especially since I'm really looking forward to the sound of the album since they hyped it up with "this is the best album so far". I got a liking for Infinite mostly because of music, too. In the last vapp he did, he said that it's because his hair is unwashed, but he also said in the same stream that he washed his hair earlier in the morning...

You got to watch it live? What time zone are you in? Because if they stream at 8 KST, It's the dead of night here lol lol. I know what you mean. I can't follow fansites for that same reason. It gets exhausting after a while. I'm disappointed that we didn't get an album medley yet At this point, I'm starting to doubt if we'll ever get it. I wish Sunggyu would stop covering his head up. I like to see his face and hair

But I didn't lie this time. You came with a call of moobs Outside of music, Sunggyu as a person really intrigues me. He's everything and not. He's contradictory but understandable and relatable. But tbh, I don't think I would ever date him if I knew him irl. He seems more like a best friend to me. Like the kind of guy you'd sit with for coffee and talk about things and laugh at each other's dumb jokes. I'm sure he feels a lot of that now. He has regrets but he's learned from them and moved on so it's fine for everyone else to move on, too. The only way left to go is forward I just hope for his next album, he'll release more of his rock-sound. While I love 27 and Alive is the best song ever, I miss rocker gyu I mean, just look at him!

I feel sad whenever I remember that Gyu got so sad that no one acknowledged his solo based on his effort and what he achieved and instead only focused on what he couldn't achieve Vay would like this very much
