"Thank you for giving me a reason to live as an artist," the 25-year-old told the crowd in a stunning moment of maturity and honesty. "Though we are far from each other, our songs make us near." That same honesty was felt backstage at Madison Square Garden when Forbes spoke with WINNER in a chat that reflected on the end of the conclusion of Everywhere Tour, how far they've come and where they're going next.

 

Benjamin: In 2019 you spoke about your goals and plans to release your third full-length album. What can you tell us about the status of this?

 

Yoon: We're currently focusing on what song we'll choose for our title track [first single]. That's what we're thinking about right now. It's a very important phase we're in right now, but we don't want to send too many spoilers.

 

Benjamin: We're a few weeks into the year, do you have New Years Resolutions you're looking to stick to?

 

Yoon: We made a promise to our fans that we really wanted to make, maybe, two comebacks this year. I think that would be the best plan for us. And not only as WINNER, but I wish too as individuals that maybe we'll have lots of activities. As the leader of WINNER, I hope the members get to work in different fields and then when they come back to WINNER they can have an even more positive synergy. We hope we can spend 2019 as a very busy year—more busy than last year â€”without any breaks. We want to meet our fans and we ask them to please look forward to that.

Winner's plan to release a new song? 

A 

Winner released a single song "Millions" on December 19, last year, and 

has been on his first North American tour for about two weeks since mid-January. 

I had dinner with Winner to celebrate the birthday of Kang Seung-yoon during a business trip to LA, but 

there was a request from members asking me to postpone the announcement of the full-length album that was announced in February. 

I did not have enough time to finish the album recording work due to busy year-end activities and tours, and 

I wanted to work on one or two additional songs.

So I canceled the schedule for the music video shoot, which was scheduled for February 

. As soon as it is finished, we will announce the date of the regular album release.

 

 

So Yoon said all they need was to pick a title song and they were going to be busy without any breaks AFTER???? YG says Yoon had requested a postponement......

 

This doesn't line up and one of them wasn't being truthful... I know who I TRUST more 

I am so tired of all this...

 

 

We all know he was lying because of Yoon interview. I though it was going to be posponed because Febraury with NA tour was almost impossible. They ended up giving March to BP (which is a shame/awfull for us because it totally was Winner spot but we can all agree that is not the girls fault and they really need more music releases. Glad all ICs accept it quite easily and go against the company instead!). What makes me tick is that they did not say April was for us =o=

I expected the delay but not concrete date makes me ansious. We all know the album is ready...

For once, I hope April 4 is our date again, that would mean they don't delay too much. And I hope the guys rest a bit, even preparing for the comeback and don't have tons of schedules. I know they are scared to be in complete draught again but they seem really overworked lately.

I feel like asking to postpone the album is going to bit us hard in the ass but I'm still think it was the correct decision. And Mili era has been so beautiful!!

 

So, I hope they can rest a bit while preparing for the album ( that all pints to a new April 4) XD

I really like Winner music and I've been following them for quite some time now, but now I would like to "properly" stan them, so I would appreciate if you would recommend me some of their variety shows? I already watched Win and their recent guesting on Video Star. I would like some variety guestings or interviews before I start with Winner TV (waiting for after exams), what should I watch?

How was the airport? Did the fandom kept their boundaries?? I read about the sunglasses and it was so funny xD

I really don't think it's that bad after I saw it glow

 

 

I would take the Japanese one with the transparent material changed to the material of the new one and adding a couple of more LEDs.

 

It would have pretty shape and more luminosity (maybe not as much as the new one, but enough).

 

I also miss the purple undertones... But I feel like that's me being too prickly.

They played the MR version by mistake so WINNER had to sing over it

 

They did so well!! Without Jinwoo, Hoon tried to cover his parts and you could totally heat his cold. And the heehee moment was so cute!!! Jung Somin couldn't resist it!!

 

I really want to watch this subbed! She is one of my favourite actresses right now, her drama was my fave this year and she is with Winner!! Love it!

So, fans where wondering why the new lighstick were erased from the concert merch.

I hope they cancel his schedules even inki for a few days. They need to do it before the tour starts, he needs to rest.

I hate the new lighstick. It doesn't suit the group. I think I will buy the old one or the Japanese one if I ever get to go to a concert.
