it's Jan 6 in Japan right now so technically it would be out tomorrow at 7:30 AM JST. I live on the West Coast, USA,7:30 AM JST is 5:30 PM PST for me).

 

I posted it on the January 5th in my timezone (I live in Europe). It airs at 7:30AM on Sunday? Then that would make it Saturday 11:30pm for me.

Hello everybody !

 

As you might have already seen a change in OP was made. Because of the recent situation with SJ and my personal decision that I made because of it (I think many have already seen my opinion) I have decided to give away the OP. I had a lot of fun in those last two years and I do not regret anything regarding to SJ, like buying their albums, seeing them in concert or taking care of the OP on this forum. But my journey with them has ended after 5 1/2 years. It was a journey full of smiles and happiness but also of tears and sadness and it ended with dissapointment.

 

Since I'm not able to support SJ like I used to I have decided that somone else should take care of the thread, because it doesn't make a lot of sense for me to keep it just for the sake of it.

 

That person will be user and friend Galaxy ✩ ! 

 

I decided to give the thread to her because I think she'll take very great care of it. This way I can leave with a content heart.

 

 

Please support her as the new OP and giver her lots of love !

ELF, you're doing a job good now, turning your back....Do you know why I leave the fandom? I leave not because of the members but because of fans, ELF that are said they're leaving but still here, becoming a toxic presence.

 

And lmao, at some of you that said "who needs anti, when there's ELF" before. You're also doing the same crap too, dragging the members yourself....

 

You wishes SJ "good luck" in surviving, well I wish you good luck in finding a way to exit, for i can see that you're still lingering around SJ

 

Fans here have a way to voice out their feelings and rant too. There is nothing wrong with that.

 

Also how are we on the same level ?? We aren't telling the members what to do and we also do not bully them into giving us what we want. We have the right to decide to not buy their albums anymore, watch their MVs or attend their concerts. Nobody is forcing us to consume their goods and we can stop at anytime. But if we choose to leave it's our own decision, a decision we have to live with. Some people also are still unsure if they can or will continue to support the other members. There is nothing wrong about those struggling feelings either. (I had a similiar experience when I found out about only13, I struggled really had but in the end I wasn't able to withdraw myself from SJ)

 

I already voiced my opinion and I do have the right to be mad at the members. That they give in shows that they think bullying Sungmin (and Saeun too) is okay with them. But in my eyes bullying is never okay. They just let it happen.

 

It's my decision and it's the decision I can live with.

Yes. If they are going to hide him everytime K-ELF throw a tantrum, it's worrying. The fact that now K-ELF know they are on the winning side here, and that putting pressure on the group works, they might never stop. On one side I tell myself it might only be a temporary attitude but on the other side...

It's not the same thing as the one you told me last time. This was just announced minutes ago and the rumor has only been going around since yesterday... and it's "only" about those concerts. For the moment let's not draw more dramatic conclusions

 

He is not going to be in any of the next four SMTOWN concerts (6 days in total). Those are the only group schedules they have. Now they started to give in to k-elf I don't see how they can get back out of this.

 

Sungmin doesn't deserve this treatment , he did nothing wrong.

i understand your point, i think it has something to do with korean fan culture because although actors/actress don't have it as bad as idols, i remember kwon sangwoo said that the immediate year after his marriage, he went from like +10 commercial deals per year to 0 deals. he too was a person who suddenly announced that he was getting married.

 

with sungmin's case, i think he handled the situation poorly and his timing was just so awful, during suju's comeback! in my opinion, his actions were selfish because it does have an impact on the whole group and other members. (i wish he had waited one more month to announce this when comebacks were over) this is why i can understand the anger from k-elfs to a certain extent, but they are going overboard with the hate for almost 3 years.

 

personally, i thought shinhwa's eric handled his marriage news quite well, and i originally guessed that his fans won't turn their backs, but i guess i have mistaken.

 

either way, now i'm curious/worried how other suju members will eventually handle their marriage news & how k-elfs will react because (Teukie/Heechulie i love u 2 but you're turning 34 soon so i'm expecting these announcements soon  )

 

Please tell me again how he handeled the situation badly ? No fan was pissed when Shindong announced his engagement on an album to boot in 2010. Which was also a "critical time" for SJ since it was only months after Kibum went on hitatus, Kangin had his first dui and enlisted and Hangeng left the group. But no fan was mad then let alone told him to leave the group. Sungmin did not do anything wrong, fans knew about his relationship they even knew about the wedding too and they demanded him to call it off. I mean what in their right mind gives them the right to even ask this. Sungmin wanted to announce it to the fans first on his blog but the news were faster.

He just found the person he loves and who he wants to spend the rest of his life with. There is nothing wrong with it.
