chinese / mandarin / cantonese pop artists have always been touring regionally, typically in places with a substantial chinese-speaking population: mainland china, taiwan, hong kong, malaysia and singapore.

touring worldwide (aka outside of the places mentioned above) is much rarer though. one band that comes to mind is mayday, i recall that they have toured in north america and europe before.
