Wow. Just read the announcement, the situation turned dark real quick. When I saw the thread move 4 pages since I checked it this morning- I knew it would be something big, but never did I expect this so soon- this is soul crushing. 

That's fine. I'm pretty sure everyone has realistic expectations because this is DR here. It's just something positive to try, same with the boycott. It will either work or it won't. I think people are more in the mindset of I'd rather say I tried and nothing changes, than not do anything and always wonder you know. This is most people's last rodeo with Rania anyway if no changes are made. People have had enough, so might as well give it one last try before jumping of this sinking ship.

 

Hopefully the group makes it off in time too.

@2ne1 revenge I understood exactly what everyone is saying and I have been paying attention which why I said what I said. From my perspective that-company-that-shall-not-be named is not worth trying to reason with and they've shown that.

And it doesn't matter if we try to do both things at once because the fandom never gets what it wants and the group gets treated worse and worse. All of the lineups of Rania have always shown amazing potential, individually and as a group and that thing of a company invents ways to f*ck things up every single time which is why I mentioned history repeating itself. Don't consistent and continuous borken promises count for something?

If you (not you specifically but anyone) want to push for HEX anyway go for it. Me, all I see is failure and disappointment at some point down the road and  I'm jumping ship to save myself more heartache.

Waking up to this continued mess, here are some opinions I want to share.

If possible, the person would have to change the amount of signatures needed (as in more) and the fandom would need people to take this seriously and not go off of A1st sherlock, like, what the hell? where is the backbone?

It would need to be translated and sent to the girls.

Why do you think Hyeme is upset in your opinion?

Her demeanor during the B3x buskings. She can have a bit of a poker face at times but you can still tell she's into the performance or she's enjoying it (Demonstrate, SAF, and MMA) but this one she just looks like she's not here for it. Anyone else feel this way?:

Is anyone down for starting an official petition and sending it to the girls on their SNS? Cruel and unusual? Yes. Necessary? ABSOLUTELY. I think the group is a bit disconnected to what's happening with the fandom and how unhappy the fans are. 

I feel  the whole group itself is generally unhappy about a few things but the two people I feel are the most upset about this are Alex and Hyeme; just a gut feeling. 

I can almost hear the original lineup breathing a sigh of relief as they feel they dodged a bullet by leaving the group.

I'm literally speechlessness at DR right now. I'm literally in tears at the thought process that went into picking BBB. Even if they couldn't do No Dab, Breathe Heavy would have been my 100% 2nd choice.

 

This is a travesty.

Completely unrelated to the conversation of the past 10 pages but thanks to all of you who replied to my 'am I being ignored' post. I didn't feel it was personal for the most part but I genuinely thought maybe my posts weren't showing up also. 

But speaking of the last 10 pages, all I have to say is 'what the f*ck?' about all of this. Absolutely speechless, I'm not even mad or disgusted, just...empty.

I am also mentally preparing myself to let Rania go. One thing for sure is they have in fact given us amazing songs and performances. Great girls, great personalities, amazing talent, showstoppers, etc... but I guess their company wouldn't let them be. They've gone from being a 10 room mansion to being one of the 10 rooms at a homeless shelter. Sad.

Last but not least, i just saw the mv teaser......Jesus.

Are my posts not showing up on the thread? Or am I just being ignored? I was under the impression no one agreed with me or just wanted to stay naive about his whole situation but other people saying the same thing I said a few pages back and they're getting feeeback?

This is my main source of contact with A1st but I can't strike up a convo with anyone here because mostly you don't reply to my opinions or suggestions. I don't think this is a personal but what gives?

For me nothing beats the original lineup but that lineup although different was pure fire. Such a shame that.

So, five basic things they needed to get right:

Alex in ALL concept photos - CHECK

Alex in WHOLE choreography- FAIL (therefore I’m out and I'll explain why in a sec)

Alex fully incorporated in MV

Alex in FULL live performances- FAIL

The group doing more TV/variety/etc... appearances

First, my opinion on the busking performance

Pros

-It was great to see all the girls together

-The song sounded kinda nice- nothing great but easy on the ears.

-Alex tried to communicate in Korean-props to her but a disgrace for the company to not provide the girl some lessons.

Cons

-The group now sounds and looks generic as hell.

-ALEX STOOD IN THE BACK FOR ALL OF THE PERFORMANCES INCLUDING MMA WHICH SHE HAS PERFORMED BEFORE WITH THE GROUP.

-SHE WALKS OFF AGAIN DURING BEEP3X
-SHE DANCES WEIRD, THE CHOREO IS A MESS AND THEY DON'T LOOK COHESIVE (shows lack of practice and I blame the company for not letting her be back in time to practice and rehearse- so that in itself is not an excuse to me, that shouldn’t have happened).

Last but not least, “We’re trendsetting Rania†really, where?   

Now my rant:

Throughout the many years, for the lack of respect for the fandom, for themselves, their irresponsibility, the lies and the many lineup changes since the group’s debut, keeping the fandom in the dark and the sheer disrespect and prejudice towards Alex (dare I say this might not happen if she were not of African descent) I. AM. DONE.

(Though I will eventually post my last 3 (Demonstrate, SAF, and MMA) compilation vids here….in memoriam.)

Love love love the concept pics BUT...I know it's a minor detail but why is Alex not wearing the same shoes as everyone else. They lost a point for that in my book- why do they insist on having her sticking out?

After reading the sh*tfest of the last 40 and some odd pages, I can finally say

HALLE-MOTHER****ING-LUJAH!!!!!

 I was on the edge and was about to call it quits with this group but the skies have finally opened up and the lights are shining down upon us!!!

I'm still sticking by what I said before though, the-company-that-shall-not-be-named better get this WHOLE comeback right and this comeback should be elevating this group out of nugu status or I'm out. Y'all may say that's an unreasonable criteria but the girls have deserved this for the longest time and I'm not givng that company any leeway. 

Five basic things they need to get right:

I'm only leaving when they stop droppin' bops. Company is messy, but the songs are tight

I mean, on the positive, RaNia did have two comebacks back to back. It would have been more depressing and more likely for them to have done SAF promotions and then have gone silent until 2018. That's what it felt like in the beginning. 

Yeah I agree and if that had been the case I would have probably still be done I mean, this company did these women dirty. Ugh.

I think she left because DR wasn't picking up the pace.. she's 30... probably wants/has to retire from the idol lifestyle.And no, Yina was the happiest this comeback, I am so thankful that she helped BP Rania restart again... (basically Rania has to restart each cb but whatever)

That's how I feel with this whole situation and them not picking up the pace is why I'm 'leaving' too as a fan if they don't get it right by this next comeback.

Yina leaving is just........... . I'm gonna finish whatever compilations I'm working on then I'm done for good. This company is too dumb for my liking; essentially I'm still waiting for their comeback, if there's no solid 'noise' from it, I'm so done. Some of you can call me shallow but I don't care; I've done my part but I have better things to do and I feel we're beating on a dead horse here.

I like your video, the transitions between M/V and live are nice.

 

I think one of the main issues is the group has a lot of potential, but it's hard for them to fully tap into it because of DR. I was/am looking forward to this comeback because of the stability and it felt like they could finally break out. Alex was writing songs for a group she knew, writing songs for the long awaited HEX. But, it's like one step forward two steps back. DR still has Alex locked away for 3 months, who knows when she'll be let out. Yina's chilling on an island somewhere. Which she deserves, just pointing out that only because it decreased our numbers to OT5. OT7 was last seen and heard from mid-Febuary. That's beyond ridiculous.

 

Yeah, I'm trying to ignore that Rania World stuff. Auditions were held today by the way. They really need to scrap that and concentrate on BPR and HEX. Good news looks like they got a new choreographer and possible choreographer assistant.

 

I just want them to do well and I think OT7 can if DR would stop making bad decisions. I'm still looking forward to this comeback, whenever it is at this point. Who knows.

Thank you for watching the vid  and my thoughts are the same for everything else you said.

I want BP to get material that works for THEM, not constant rehashes of past work because its clear that they will never deliver it the same or songs that they can't handle (like Start a Fire), and choreography that is represents them and not the past members. I think, from what I heard, the songs Alex has written have a more pop sound that will fit this generation better, both in style and vocals. I look forward to seeing more of BP RaNia and less new girls, same old stuff.

 

But really, whatever beef I have with RaNia is never directed at the group. They're so sweet and kind, they work hard and I appreciate how open minded everyone tries to be. I enjoy their music and I enjoy watching them. DRM is the issue and it doesn't seem fair to drop the group because they're being so mishandled. 

 

RaNia World is just... I'm not even 100% sure what it is but it doesn't seem like it'd affect the current unit right now so I'll worry about it some other time. 

I absolutely agree with you, the bold is exactly how I feel. The reason I've never been able to drop the group is because of the members themselves, I love how they always give it 100% no matter what crappy situation DR puts them in but it's been 6 years, idk...

The thread's moved some 10 pages since Iwas last here I got so excited because I thought there were comeback news/plans etc... and come to find the mess that I read about Rania World, wtf is this sh*t? DRM, I have no words.

And that recent DFG performance is wack. The members look like amateurs trying to be sexy, either their choreographer helps them tighten the routine or they don't perform it at all. I'm at the end of my rope with this group and I've been there a while now.

Everytime I'm at the point of giving up on them, the group gives me hope again but this situation is just dumb don't some of you feel like you're wasting your time with this group? Don't mean to sound harsh but come ON.

I didn't mean for it to sound like I was laughing at RaNia. I was just so surprised that, out of all the groups, they were the first one in the video. Sometimes I have to laugh when something is that sad.

Oh I totally got you, I think I sounded harsh also. I guess I was thinking out loud and I do laugh also- it's just sad that they had/have so much potential and they always come up on flop lists lol.

Ok so I was super busy this weekend but I manage to finish my Pop Pop Pop compilations. I couldnt' clean up the quality- I think the original vids were more or less downloaded that way and It's a bit choppy and rushed but I don't care I was short on time lol. YEEEEEEESSS to the new version of DFG but to me, nothing will beat the original. That goes for the Rania Legends album as well- I would have loved to receive the one with the old songs, those are classics to me but I openly welcome the new versions. I'm just excited for more Rania period.

Wanting to share my opinon, I do love this lineup as I've loved all the other ones and I'm happy that they're finally reaching some success but the first lineup to me was the total package and would have been a force to be reckoned with if it was not for the-company-that-shall-not-be-named. They sang beautifully, they were great dancers, and they were all gorgeous- too hot for the KPOP industry to handle.
