  2. Honestly if the streams and youtube videos don't have spoilery thumbnails I don't see what's the problem with uploading late-game stuff. If you don't want to get spoiled just don't click the video? It's unfair to people who genuinely can't afford the game and can only rely on streams and LPs to enjoy the game for themselves

  3. It's pretty good. The music and story are top notch and the gameplay isn't too far behind it, provided you're ok with bullet hells and occasional metroidvania moments. The only real negative I can think of is some of the sidequests being rather generic fetch quests (there's some real great ones - but also some stinkers).

I think you can probably get a way with skipping the first Nier, and the Drakengard games for that matters.

does a pretty great summary of the game, meaning you don't have to spend 40 hours or so slogging through yourself (unless you want to).
Eh I kinda wanna get into the lore of the series (not sure about Drakengard tho) so I'm probably not gonna skip the first one hah. Glad you're enjoying it!
  4. Really liked FFXV. Story misses a lot of beats but I enjoyed the game and the characters and the music.

Persona 5 looks incredibly stylish. I can't wait to get my hands on it. Hoping for some interesting side character stories.

Need to finish Nier: Automata first.

The way is either getting them to do the work beforehand or finding a way for the 'one more game' mentality to actually be 'one more game', insteada five or so more. In general I find short bursts of revision or essay writing to be best, so I've worked on making my short breaks exactly that - short. My one game is one game, then it's back to studying.

Getting the motivation or discipline instilled to do that is hard though ><.

From what you've played of it so far, would you say it's as good as people hype it up to be Marv? All I can see on twitter is just people talking about 2b and how good she looks so I can't really tell lmao. I'm planning on checking out the first Nier game sometime this year but I wanna know if this one holds up well too.
  5. I don't have a 3ds unfortunately, only emulators for the ps2, psp and the ds. guess I have no choice but to watch a walkthrough of SMTIV instead lol, good thing I'll be able to play Nocturne at least since its for the ps2. I heard nothing but good things about it.

  6. I've never played a mainline SMT game, how difficult are they compared to the Persona ones? Are battles done through random encounters like in P1 and 2? If they do then I'm a bit torn over whether I should try one out or not bc I find the random encounter system really damn tedious (at least in P2 lol).

  7. I actually bought Hatoful Boyfriend during a steam sale once and haven't touched it yet haha.

tbh it's actually kind of fun, especially at first. after a while glossing through the same old dialogue while trying a new route can get repetitive at times, I put it off for a few months because of this lol. I recommend you try picking it up since you have it already (also the 'true ending' is amazing. like, blows everything out of the water and makes all those hours of gameplay worth it imo)
  8. So... I watched the first season of Dangan Ronpa when it was airing, and haven't played any of the games. Are you supposed to watch the anime before playing the games? Wouldn't that spoil everything? At least the first season seemed like it did.

I highly recommend that you go back and play the first game even though the plot was already spoiled for you bc of the anime adaptation. I actually watched the anime too before going into the game and I regretted doing so tbh. the anime just feels like a summary of the game's plot and def not the full experience, there's a lot you're missing on in terms of character development if you don't play the game at all, even if you already know everything that's going to happen storywise.

Also what is the best way to play the dangan ronpa games? Steam? Vita?

From what I've seen while the steam port seems nice I think vita would probably be the best way to go. The third game in the series isn't even available on steam anyway and who knows when/if that'll happen. so go for vita since everything's there hah

  9. I would recommend playing Fire Emblem: Awakening first tbh. And nah, you don't have to play them in any specific order, except for a couple of the games which are sequels like Radiant Dawn.

ok ty! Is Fates also good? Do you think I should play that after Awakening? Because I think it's the most talked about FE game from what I've seen
